in order to buy a gun i have to obtain a FFL, get the money, go to a licensed dealer, make my purchase only after passing a background check and have to wait an arbitrary 3-10 day "cooling off period" before i even physically possess the weapon, then i need a separate permit to lawfully carry concealed or open depending on specific locality.
