I've bought sassafras in Idaho at a small organic store. I ate the bark chunks and within 2 hours I was really high in a great way. I now live in Vancouver Canada where only store carries the sassafras and again I ate the bark but this time no high at all. This made me wonder if they removed the active ingredient safrole.
