I CAN PROVE GOD DOESN'T EXIST
So, yesterday I rewatched The Adventures of
Mark Twain when I came to the part where we meet "the mysterious stranger" or Satan if you prefer.
As I watched through this scene I had a thought quite profound that proves that not only does God not exist, but if he did, man would be greater.
Let me explain; as we all know Satan was once the angel Lucifer. But was cast down to the depths of hell to bring justice to the sinners of the world. But why exactly was Satan cast down? For his inherent evil?
No. During the part where Satan gives the clay people lives and in the end chooses to destroy them, he doesn't do this because of shit and giggles. He looks at human and our greed and judges us unworthy of life.
What Satan lacks is the ability for forgiveness, which God prides himself to. This is ironic to me, because this fact alone makes Satan the most human angel. And this fact alone allows me to feel empathy for him and also forgiveness.
And what does God pride himself with? Forgiveness.
Who did God never allow himself to forgive?
Satan.
And now I have allowed myself to forgive Satan. Does that make me greater than God?
