there is a huge fucking plot hole in this movie that people just dont seem to understand.
in the comics thanos did want to destroy 50% of life, he just did it to show that he could. thanos wanted to destroy 100% of life in order to impress mistress death. that was his goal, he didnt care about "balance" he didnt care about "power" or "friends" he just wanted some skeletal ass.
in the movie he wants to destroy only 50% of life because he wants peace and balance in the universe. he actually indicated that he preferred not to do this and thinks that it was the only way.
the PROBLEM here is that mr good guy thanos somehow ignores the fact that if he has all 6 stones he could literally do anything, in both the comics and the movie. so why did he just not use the stones for absolute peace and prosperity instead of just destroying half of life?
in the comics it makes sense because he wanted EVERYTHING to die. it doesnt make sense in the movies because he only wants 50% of shit to die in order for peace to exist... but the guantlet can give peace without the destruction of life... has everyone just looked over this huge plot hole?
