So I had this debate with my gay brother today. Hopefully you guys can settle this:
There's a bill about to be passed in Georgia. The bill basically protects churches from being forced to perform gay weddings or other services for gays. I supported gay marriage and thought the law should recognize them as married.
But in this case I support the church's right to tell gays they don't have to do anything for them, and they can fuck off. He said a church is just like a business, and it's no different from a restaurant refusing to serve black people.

Both sides are fucking stupid. This bill has more than just churches denying gay marriage. It's so loosely worded that even a business can deny a gay person from walking in.
Gay people shouldn't be so ass blasted the religion they worship considers them abominations. Just get the damn certificate and have a private wedding if you really want one. Ceremonies mean nothing.
Well I for one think a restaurant or any other business should be able to decline their services, so I don't like the fact that churches should be forced.
As long as you can get (gay) married in a secular institute recognised by the state there shouldn't be a problem.
This is just trolling the church , and the small amount of gay christians this applies to should renounce their religion instead.

Yeah I kinda figured as much. But when you think about it, how would the establishment even know they were gay unless they were acting like queens or were showing PDA. I don't mind PDA, but loud feminine gays I find annoying.
