Fluffy Thread: Thinking About it Too Hard Edition
Does it ever seem like the 'feral fluffy problem' thing is a thread you shouldn't tug on too hard? As in, a large feral population would be pretty much impossible, given the mostly-agreed upon rules?
Even setting aside the fact that they're a predator's dream dish, stupid, weak, slow and both brightly-colored and constantly spewing strong-smelling detritus. They're literally programmed to want human kindness and affection. It seems like a fleet of trucks and a bunch of people willing to go out and be nice to fluffies to get them into said trucks could have every feral in a major city rounded up in a matter of days.
This really isn't a dig at the whole fluffy...fandom? Continuity? Whatever you'd call something like this. I like it, and I'm totally willing to suspend disbelief to enjoy it, but this is a point where I do have to consciously suspend disbelief. Just wondering if anyone else feels the same way.
