God Tier Records, and i mean God, not some bullshit Derp cobain shit. Strictly God Tier. Pic very related
Might not appeal to the younger folks, but this is one of the best albums to come out of the early 90s. Spent many a day in undergrad stoned listening to this stuff.
William Hung insperational cd. Best 10 cents i ever spent. Found a fold up poster in the fucking case. Always play when friends get in car. Wtf anon. 2 finger kiss my hamd and pat Bill. K E K
Understand, without this album, most modern music wouldn't have existed in the first place.
their vinyl recordings are different recordings than their normal albums too. fucking amazing.
read world war z while listening to this album with a bottle of scotch. so good.
I would say, that the minor threat transition into fugazi, had a greater impact on modern rock music (although less directly). But your point for joy division into new order did open the electronic gates. Which is currently shittier than rock.
This is the most embarrassing purchase of my music listening life.
I bought this new release for the one song hoping the others were just as "awesome".
On top of that, I bought it in the mall for around 19 dollars which back then was robbery.
My only saving grace was that I was young and dumb.
Sure, I am. Except I'm white, 37 and prefer surfer Rosa, 13 songs, the decline, milo goes to college and stranger than fiction to a shitty overproduced record.
Although the x-files episode with that one song was pretty hot.
Have you fuckers been looking in my record collection?
In the 25ish years this album has been around, I've flipped between loving it and hating it probably 20 times. Yeah, it's a sellout piece, but it's still pretty good.
Every radio song they had.... So much. I would rather pee blood that hear them again. Especially lighting crashes. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
>"heard a lot of talk about this jesus..."
>"...but if that was 2000 years ago"
>"means nothing at all to me today"
You are a special kind of stupid, you know that?
Chomp down another tide pod, precious snowflake.
Alexander Black of Half Past Dead
i know it is a best of..its an album with some history...i had a jeep and it was the best for a while and i had a job at the mall..come out after work and jeep is robbed the only album i has was this one because it was in the cd player..and i thought well the universe must want me to jam this for a while...
I feel the same way. The first show I went to was just before they left lookout! It was in this shitty basement venue, but I was hooked. Billy learned. Then Billy composed. Then Billy became an awesome producer. Also, why not throw in this gem...
>stranger than fiction to a shitty overproduced record
StF was a shitty overproduced record.
Just based on production value, Against the Grain I think is the best album.
serious classic right here
I count these as one and both are an amazing end of an era for hair metal. I understand why some don’t like axel for whatever but that guy could belt.
Also OP is a massive faggot posting Live in God tier. Not even close, not even their best song multiplied by the Cranberries best song.
bonham was a killer on the drums, too bad too young.
I bought my first stereo in 71,plus headphones,a turntable, mag cartridge,I put them on a 12 y/o neph, he sat down shut up for the greatest length of time I remember, listened open mouth to the whole thing, exp battle of evermore, the instruments travelling from left to right & back,
their sisses & bros got red pilled on rock, esp & always led zep.
I gave the beloved first stereo to the oldest girl, she
enjoyed it fir 5 years more, gave it the littlest kid,he took it apart in 6 weeks, every piece removable with screwdrivers,,sob, brr Hr! br Hr!
zep for the ages rock on
Adding this one to the list. Say what you will but this created its own genre.
StF, The Grey Race, and No Substance are the nadir of Bad Religion albums. They're all equally terrible in my opinion.
It started even earlier. Recipe for Hate has some excellent songs, but also has Kerosene and Watch it Die with Eddie Veder sounding like he's about to die.
All of those mid 90s albums were terrible. It wasn't until the Process of Belief that they turned a corner and even then, later albums have never been top to bottom good like Suffer / No Contol / Against the Grain
Short but better IMO. I cried the day he died. Vedder is last man standing.
I sat through this shit on your recommendation and I can honestly say the only thing interesting about the album is its cover art. Thx for the trash, bb.
You, on the other hand, win a shiny gold medal. Time is absolutely fantastic
dudes, are you gonna help me get to 3000 subscribers or what?
Really? In my you get years I played it until it was destroyed. But, I like burn the priest and the nasty sounds on new American gospel. This one isn't bad I just listened to it a shitload.
Systems self titled is my favorite but that one was more palatable for them to succeed with. It's got good songs on it. I don't think I listened to anything like mesmerize. Maybe the ones before it. Steal this album had a few good ones as well.
Listen Hipster faggot, this album was complete trash when it came out and it's still trash today.
I know it's your opinion but that doesn't mean you're right.
Next you'll tell us the Spin Doctors were sorely underrated.
