These were held though and was secured. The thing with this one is that it's told to be a denial of security and classification of information which was proven.

here's the thing: they're not trying to win. They're trying to get to 5%. Because when a third party gets 5% of the popular vote nationally, three big things happen. In the following election, they get federal election funds, they get easier access to the ballot in all 50 states, and indirectly, they get easier access to the debates. The debates actually require 15% of the polling average at the time. But that would be easy enough to get it if they have federal election funds and the media coverage that comes with it.
If you live in a solid color state, you are completely wasting your vote UNLESS you vote third-party. It's the only way your vote will make a difference.
As far as I know, in the last 50/75 years, no one has ever done it. Ross Perot did it but he was running as an independent, not as a member of party so it didn't count. It's fucking hard to do and they made it hard to do because the Republicans and Democrats want to protect their power.
