What kinda phone is that? I never trusted the watertightness of mine but most are not really waterproof. Splash water resistant or maybe submersible, but things look different when there's a shower spraying on it and stuff. I'd want to be extra super sure it works, wrecking that shiny new thing for yet another fuzzy hour isn't really worth it.

Galaxy S7 Edge. It has a screen protector and a decent case. I was looking at the Otterbox Defender when I first got it and they were low on stock. Should have got it then, but I'm retarded. Aight thanks for the advice, I'll do that. I feel like I should read a lot more on that before actually contacting an artist tho. I have a general picture of a character on my mind, so that may actually work.
And then I hope I'll find an artist with a little patience for a total noob. I mean I'd be willing to pay a lot more than usual if they take some time to guide me through the process. Wondering if most artists actually like getting someone their first piece, or if they prefer the clear on-point communication an experienced commissioner can provide. As an artist I'd love to provide the one piece for someone they'd surely remember

I've read about the S7 family that they aren't as waterproof as Samsung likes to tell people. Apparently the active versions don't live up to their ad at all.
I own an S5 which I forgot outside for more than 3 full days with heavy non-stop rain and cold temperatures. That thing survived without any issue so I'm very impressed with what they can do.

Yah sucks mad dick. Right now I can walk a little again, on crutches. Although the doc is fairly confident that I'll be able to walk or even run again. Depends on how my knees unfuck themselves, many surgeries do no good there. It's looking good though, so now I'm starting to do normal things again not related to my injuries. Naw they didn't. That was two months ago and I didn't hear anything from policedudes so far.
Shortly after the accident when talking to the police they said that they were looking around for a damaged car and asking repair places and whatnot. They also kept my clothing to check for paint particles. But they said that chances are pretty slim that they can find the guy/grill/whatever. It was in a rural area, no cameras and an empty street late in the evening.
Also policedudes didn't even come to my home to talk to me but demanded that I come to the station fucked up as I was. I think I never had such an are you fucking kidding me face than at that moment.
