My family suffers quite heavily from depression, growing up, I went into random phases of self hate, coming from something happening or not they just sprung up from time to time.
I lost a lot of friends after high school ended, like, all of them and became very alone. loneliness is the worst. tack on social anxiety and all that, even worse.
Time does lessen the pain, but I can't say it helps. You just grow immune to it. I wish I felt like a person. But through all that, there's no reason to hurt yourself or any shit like that. Someone I knew growing up ended it a while ago, and she didn't think anyone cared. True, she didn't have many people come to her funeral. but. fuck.
I hadn't seen her in like 6-7 years since we moved a few miles away from each other. But.
I could have picked up the phone at any point. made contact. I couldn't, because of what horrible things people taught me about "etiquette" when they're trying to teach someone who's a little socially retarded, and the beat that message in to the point it becomes a determinant where you can't do anything. i'm so scared of talking to people. and.
