ITT: we post our jobs, income and how much we like it out of x/10. I'll start:
Balloon seller at an amusement park, about 2000$ a month 2/10, sandniggers threaten me on a daily basis.
Buying and selling shit on the internet.
Varies between 3000-4000$ a month 10/10 life is gud
Supervisor at Starbucks
About $12.50/h IIRC
3/10. I like the people I work with and am friends with many of them, and it isn't hard, but it's fucking tedious as hell and half the customers are asshole who deserve to be told to fuck off
Attorney in US
$4,500 a month plus %5.5 of every case I win.
I have to represent the dumbest clients who have no clue as to the processes of the court house and actual laws. I have some stupid stories if anyone's interested.
currently -14,000$ because I'm financing my new car.
Own my own custom auto shop. Make my own hours, tell customers to fuck off if I don't want to work on their pieces of shit, make mad cash with no stress. $100k+ a year. Learn a trade kiddies.
My pedestrian-tier shit job is just meant to get me through school
Except 5 years in I fucking despise going to school. Failed two classes this past semester, couldn't make myself give a fuck about their bullshit assignments
>get a 45 year old client telling us that he wants to sue his land lord for property infringements.
>My boss tells me to take the client in because he's an "old friend".
>Apparently I had to represent this guy over a $15 garden gnome that was placed by the landlord on the front lawn.
>Landlord technically still owns lawn as part of the contract written but the guy was adamant that it was unlawful.
>had to stand in front of a judge and convince her that it was unlawful.
>We lost. obviously.jpg
>Guy super pissed, but my boss didn't care, wrote it off as an "agreeable loss".
>I charge either $450 every hour or $5,500 for the whole case.
>This guy did by the hour.
>He lost over 7 grand.
Pharamacy support worker at a hospital. $2000 month, 8/10 nurses to look at, variety in jobs e.g. usual computer work but sometimes use forklift truck to move boxes in cold storage. Uniform makes me look like a scientist.
same here, just working so i can accually live on my own and be able to study (with study loans) but i've been doing it for 6 years every single weekend now and i just wanna shoot myself every single day i have to go there.
How the fuck are you earning 2000$ a month as a balloon seller?
I am a student doing graduation (without a student loan), I rent out the houses I inherited from my father (It's my only source of earning). Gets about 500$ per month as rents. Quite satisfied 8/10.
Sales associate at Mercedes-Benz
4/10 deal with rich cucks, spoiled kids, and niggers who think they're entitled to whatever because muh reparations.
$2900/month + $250/sale (commission) + $1000 bonus if I make double digit sales in a month + 401k + health & dental insurance + get to stare at G wagon AMGs and Maybachs all day because only like 16 people in my area can afford them.
Income varies but made just under 100k last year.
>hoping to move up to train robbery soon
>thats the big show for us thieves
Who the fuck are you? Butch Cassidy?
No I work for a pretty wealthy attorney partnership. I got the job pretty easy because my uncle set me up. And I wish it was helping niggers sue jack in the box. I'll tell you right now, white people who are sue happy are some of the dumbest motherfuckers I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Absolutely fucking god awful potato status. Thats why I really don't like my job. But it funds my car hobby and keeps me focused and busy.
Mechatronic technician at a chemical plant.
9/10 nice co workers, not too mich workload. But when our site is faulty or something important is broken, we have to work our damn asses off. The danger of hazardous chemicals is also a minus.
About 89k /year + bonuses
Unemployed, studying again - while I'm not looking for jobs - for a couple exams I dropped out of to focus on getting money for my parents before I'll have my degree. Hopefully I'll be completely finished with school in 3-4 weeks so I'll have a better shot at finding work.
About ~$1500/month from unemployment insurance.
That would be an interesting line of work.
Do you ever feel bad about being part of the system that allows innocent people to be apprehended and guilty people free? (e.g. pot smoker gets sentenced, rapist gets released?)
Whats your favourite part of your job?
YES PLEASE, share some funny or interesting stories. :)
ill usually the house out for a week or two then set off the fire alarm. works everytime, i just sneak in a steal anything shiney.
one time i robbed this old guys house, he caught me in the kitchen but i just pretended to be his son.
i go for only shine things because the more shine the more valuable. its an old robbers secret
Sounds like half the matters I dealt with before moving in house. This is me >>684089675
>firm makes us volunteer a couple of days a year at a legal clinic for people who can't afford a lawyer
>guy walks in
>looks to be in his 40s, smells like he hasn't showered in a few days, has that general disheveled look that poor people have
>he wants to dispute a parking fine he was given a few weeks ago
>parked his van in a no stopping zone while he quickly went inside the building
>he says he could see the parking inspector writing the ticket through the window
>ask him what he was doing at the time and why he didn't go down when he saw the inspector giving him a ticket
>"Oh, I was knocking off some TVs, I couldn't run down to tell him to stop because we were carrying them downstairs"
I own a 55 room bungalow hotel , it is not as good as it seems , the profit ain't that much , and I have to share it with the other shareholdets (I have the 51%) lots of assholes drunk British ppl that act like 5 yo kids , lots of things happening every day , 3/10 exhausting af , 75k is what I earn . And I am 31 yo
I work as an attendant at a amusement park/family fun center
I make 8.05 an hour so like $600 a month.
7/10 It's just a job to help me get through college. it sucks but the manager are lenient enough to where I'm able to consistently dick around and make it not suck as much.
Shrug, not bad as a technique.
Good trick for the old man, though I feel bad that they have to go through that. My grandmother once walked into her house to find a young boy stealing her stuff, if he wasnt a young boy, she could have been really shit scared.
Ever stolen anything and later realized what it was, like a dildo or anything? XD
When you are in garrison there isn't much to do when not training. A lot of busy work and a shit ton of PowerPoint or Excel nonsense. A ton of training like hot/cold weather, sexual harassment, equal opportunity, etc. And when you are in command you deal with some of the dumbest shit from your troops.
Deployed you are actually doing, for the most part, what you signed up to do. And maybe you get to legally kill someone. I have not.
>soldier's son is a raging potato
>in my office for some shit about school not supporting potato
>son start going through my shit, but don't want to set him off
>potato dad tells him to knock it off...3...2...1...
>potato goes into rage mode
>throws himself everywhere swinging his arms like he is in the club throwing haymakers
>kid calms down after about 5 minutes...3...2...1...
>we thought he was calming down...nope. he paused to shit his pants.
The hardest part is not treating them like I would as a civilian.
this story helped me get a brand new jaguar f-type r for basically dirt cheap.
>Get a car dealership asking for legal representation because worker is suing them for $3.5m because of contract violations.
>My boss gives me and 2 other legals the job and tells us its extremely important.
>Worker who's suing is saying that the dealership didn't give him a severance package when he was "laid off".
>He wasn't laid off he was fired.
>Dealership had a digital malfunction and lost most of their e-mails including the one that fired the guy.
>Plaintiff's lawyers using this to their advantage.
>Asked for judge to subpeona the emails of the worker.
>dumbass didn't delete the fire email.
>we win. congratulationsyouvewon.jpg
>the owner of the dealership told us that if we wanted to get a car, to just contact him and he'll hook us up.
>I was ready for a new car anyhow and I was set up with my jaguar.
>also made 3,500$ that case so not a bad pull.
>living in India
>mfw I find out OP sells balloons for 2000 USD per month (134000 INR) which is good enough to live a luxurious life here
>mfw when I find about people are living a quite hard life at 500 USD (30000 INR) per month
>mfw I am living a quite satisfactory middle class life in 500 USD per month
you're right about the "poor" part. We're not a very cheap firm but we still get the "poor" people who somehow manage to afford our bills. My very first case in the firm was representing a guy who wanted to sue a Bomgaars because the clerk shorted him 2 pennies.
Stupid people man. We need to start generating breeding licenses.
In education, paper round in the morning, manual labour on Saturdays about $350/ month, I know it's not a lot but definitely helps. 3/10 early morning and makes education harder. But I do love my day to day life in general.
another good one is invite them out for dinner and then not turn up.
me and the old man are good friends now. i didn't steal anything and he still thinks I'm his son, guess you could say i stole his heart.
robbery is horrible for the victims but that why i set up a victim support line thats only 3$/pmin
free to call anytime. automated service
I also sold some DMT and 1p-lsd, and yes as I sell it as nbome
Been empty for 2 weeks, got like 15 clients waiting. Don't really want to sell it anymore because some kids have and will flip out.
When the drugs arrive ITS THE BEST feeling doe, and I recommend yall try some lsd or shrooms
Hahaha, legendary. Good job!
Is the car worth it? Sounds like it is.
I'm currently going through a court case and its incredibly annoying the rate of pay my lawyer gets.... my case has been adjourned and put for mention EIGHT times now, my lawyer shows up for half an hour, gets paid around $250, I need to work for three days to pay back his half hour....
Any more stories where the person just entirely fucks up midcase like that one?
$10 an hour
6/10, I don't do fuck all anything except tell homeless people they can't sleep here. Get to dick around on my laptop for the other 7 and a half hours in the night. Would probably rate it higher if my hobbies didn't drastically shift away from games a few months before i got this job.
Because their little shit kids want baloons for free, I charge 10$ a balloon for the small ones (which is ridiculously overpriced I know) and then they begin harrasing me, stealing my shit (I also sell toys and likewise),popping my balloons, calling me a Kafir and twice, been threatened with a knife. What can I do about it? Nothing. And they fucking know it. 6ft 95kg of pure muscle and I cant use them for shit.
Job: Environmental Conservation
Pay: $460/week AU
Like job: 9/10 have a very fun crew, we play practical jokes on each other all day while working, tell jokes. Play frisbee at lunch time, light hearted banter all day
> we remove exotic invasive weeds, replant miniture forrests, build fences and remove rubbish
Only sad thing is boss doesnt utilise time correctly with the team, we work at about 1/3 of our capacity; we could literally get 3x more work done each day but the boss takes it really cruisy.
Not green texting this one due to using phone.
We had a soldier shoot at people for a parking spot.
Drunken date rape comes around every now and then.
I had a troop that was getting drunk daily and not spending time with his wife. Wife calls me to get help because he has closed all of the accounts they shared.
She sounds super hot on the phone. She calls a few more times and the convos get flirty. Luckily, I stop myself from taking it too far. Help her get money and she thanks me for the help and wishes she had a man like me.
I see this girl a few weeks later at a unit event. Holy shit! She is pushing 300 and dresses like white trash that is 120 pounds. Fat hanging out everywhere.
expensive clothing, iphones, ipads and likewise.
Oversell them for about 150% of what I bought them for. Gambling on the side helps. I just take better photos and seem more official. People are easily fooled. Kickstarter exists for a reason
My "official" job title is "Recovery Agent". It looks nice on paper for the clients, but it just means that I'm a repo man. I get paid for taking cars from people who are either dumb niggers, spoiled brats that have their parents co-sign, or foreigners that don't understand that banks are just out to fuck them. Oh, and Uber drivers. I've noticed a trend of Uber drivers using the company to help them finance, only to fuck off and fall behind.
9/10 - It's always entertaining. I work at night, no traffic. Pays great.
Agreed, good to try.
I've had some past clients flip out and do random stuff.
One guy who was really really nice, worked at a local radio station
> takes a 95%+ pure 200ug LSD tab from me with six mates
> haflway through trip, loses it, runs out front door of house
> police find him terrorising cars on the streets while he repeats question about "why do I need to breathe?"
> done for public nuisance
Most times though, feedback is of epic stories, realizations or a night of super laughter with mates :)
Everything on /b/ is a lie
>The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood.
Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.
Go fuck yourself
I work in the apple store. I thought I was going to dislike dealing with old people but they're pretty easy and usually kind. It's the young kids that bring their friends in with no money just to be obnoxious. Every day I have to kick out kids for blasting music in the store with no intentions of buying anything.
Shit, drunken date rape would suck. Most of it gets "swept under the carpet" doesn't it?
Holy shit, haha, imagine that, breath of relief when you realize that she was hardly attractive and not worth it.
you sound like a good officer sir.
Have you ever secretly extracted revenge on a solider for something, or done some payback?
I'm good with my hands and can figure out how stuff works quickly, what should I do for a job?
Freelance Independent mechanic.
Part time auto parts sales.
Parts sales 10.50 an hour
Mechanic work anywhere from 200/week to 2000/week
7/10 It funds my horse power addiction. I've got 7 cars and trucks. My crown jewel is my turbo 6.0l lq4 1985 camaro. Looks like a piece of shit and sounds like a piece of shit until I smoke your ass.
some shitty seo, some semi-abandoned sites, some rare helps with conferences organization (photo, video, other help). Basically doing nothing 95% of time.
100-500$ a month
10/10 it seems that I just don't need anything than that
its nice but honestly put off by service charges. i have to pay $1200 every 4 months for a "regular" service charge.
other than that its loud, fast as fuck, and is practical. mine isnt a convertible though because thats just too expensive. i walk off with a $105,000 car for only $75,000. Its also my daily driver but I'm modifying it aesthetically at the moment. Just finished ordering Lexanis.
After some time of moving, I got access to people that would buy off the darknet markets. Its probably easier to get access yourself.
> darknet markets offer all substances at super good prices, very high quality and usually trustworthy if you pick a good vendor
Although the first few times, I just had to hustle for contacts and picked up some from people who would find it at bush raves etc.
In the end, everything started coming from online sources because it was top knotch stuff.
While i have a job and posted it, I tried everything you listed.
Got a job there due to knowing someone, worst job ever. And even then, I ONLY got it because someone I knew worked there.
Not a girl or flamboyant as fuck? Good. Fucking. Luck.
I don't know about others, but the Frys where I live is pretty damn far. I doubt they'd hire someone who needs to get there with public transportation unless you really made a damn good impression.
>Implying getting an interview
Probably your only bet, but think of it this way. It's not that they couldn't go apply and get an interview, but how many others do you think also apply and such? The amount of people that apply to McDonalds as a last ditch effort is huge, and they can't give everyone a job. I'd say maybe 1 in 5 will get a job while the rest won't even be called back when the one person they chose doesn't work out.
People saying that people without jobs are lazy have their heads up their ass. If someone's out making an honest effort to get a job, but just can't land one, it's not lazy at all.
Teach me your ways, I want to be a mechanic but I dunno if I should go do some college courses, or just pick up an old junker and start wrenching. If I did the latter, I was thinking of finding a Toyota Supra MK3 and just going to town on it.
8/10 only thing that would make it better is a dream job for a 9/10 and then a girl exactly like my Ex to go 10/10, cant talk and is locked in a cage most of the day
> at job as balloon popper
> tired from a double shift
> see spaz balloon seller. Tried to fuck with him pull out my blade for a tweety bird
> won't give it up gaurd
ds toys with force
> so start popping balloons knowing he can't leave booth to chase me
> I go almost everyday to look for him
Mechanics from a school is a waste of time. Teach yourself. You need to learn computers now a days to. I fucking custom program old shit and it works fine but this new shit is crazy. I have certifications but I got them by learning on my own. I loved cars when I was a kid and I learned. It doesn't come over night.
No sexual assault has been swept away around me. Quite the opposite. Some soldiers get fucked from a jilyed lover or a feminist cunt.
Never did revenge. 100% fair no matter if #1 or #100 soldier.
I'm at least half decent with computers, so the programming shouldn't be hard to pick up. I recently learned how to do basic maintenance (Oil change, spark plug replacement/gauging/ air filters), so I'm about to hit the parts most people wouldn't bother with.
>Implying most people change their own oil
I figured just going and taking a few courses would help me get into the swing of it and teach me basic shit, but if you feel it'd be better to call up my old man and tell him I got a car for him to tear apart, I suppose that'll be the way to go. How would I go get the certs without courses though?
Mental Health Technician at a state mental health facility for mentally ill and developmentally disabled.
Pay fluctuates depending on my overtime, $1200-2000 take home every 2 weeks plus medical dental vision life insurance, etc.
6/10, it's not my dream job and I don't want to be here forever, but some of the staff and individuals are alright, and every now and then I have to beat or physically restrain people. Also it's one of the highest paid jobs in my area.
I live in the states so ASE. Take a practice test and pay the fee and pass.I'm a former mastertech. I let it expire cause working for dealerships suck. Don't bother programming. I do it because I has a custom setup in a 1990 transam. It's a turbo setup on an engine and computer that were never supposed to work together. Learn electronics. DC voltage. Don't play with hybrids. You learn better by doing it trust me.
States as well. Commiefornia and all that.
I planned to make that MK3 a car I'd be keeping for as long as it'd hold out. So I'd eventually be putting stuff like that in it. So, better I still learn about it even if I wouldn't be doing it for a while. I heard to stay away from automatics when learning right off the bat, and that it's some alien tier shit. Any merit to that?
Senior Tech Support Analyst for a software development company, about $2500/ every 2 weeks (take home), pretty decent benefits, 6/10 - it's a pretty easy gig but I fucking hate when people act like they know something and they don't.
Automatics are easy as well as manuals. I have built many autos. It's just understanding fluid and pressure paths and how solenoids and shit work. Older stuff is a little more complicated. Stay away from cvt. They are not worth killing yourself over. Custom programmed pcms are not something you need to do trust me. Moates.com hptuners.com efilive and other tuning solutions exist so you don't have to fuck with it. I'm just fucking weird. I'm an odd one out.
How do you get paid so much for balloons?
Metal fabricator $300/week
Low level weed dealer $2-300/week
7/10. Metal work would be 10/10 if I made a living wage.
About $2000/month. Its a hard earned living but I love both jobs. Can't wait to make enough money to only need one though.
1776/hr but i get a min of 48 hours a week sometimes 70 so evrythin iver 40 is like 26/hr. I make shampoo bottles and am destryloying the earth. Everyones white/vet/cool at least tho so 6/10 cuz i wouldnt be happy working anywhere i could get hired
Act like I'm not! And alright. Saw an old hydraulic auto gear shift on /o/ today and it was just the weirdest shit I've seen. All in all, I'd like to be able to buy cars cheap, repair em, and sell em for a living. With zero knowledge about how shit works, about how long and how much money would I throw out before I could make that possible?
Isn't that because most people can't work with diesels? Dad once said that being able to work on watercraft is just a money pool.
No ones going to shoot you over my half ounce or my fifth. Stip beating my ass faggot. If u was doing crime you wouldnt vet within arms length. Enjoy your half size hardon yoh get for beating a stud wgile hes chained and prone.
Diesel is just crazy money. Shit always breaking the new stuff anyway. I'd take you quite some time depending on your level of previous understanding of how the systems work. I also work on boats. Shit is so fucking gravy and people pay stupid money for it. I charge like 50/hour to fix watercraft and holy fuck. Charge for 10 hours and they're like you're cheap etc. And hand me 300 dollars extra. I live by a large lake so quite a bit of that.
I live on the coast, so I guess that would be easy money. I have no knowledge at all, but I catch on VERY fast if it's something I'm interested in learning. Generally only need to see it once, if it has my attention, and I can near perfectly do it myself from there after. I can generally take that knowledge and throw it at similar things. Watched my bike get an oil change. I can now change the oil on damn near any bike you throw my way, and assume it's pretty similar to cars.
So learn diesel in time and make the money there rather than do my own fix up work on cars from CL and resell?
You can fix and resell I'm doing that right now to a 2009 mazda that a guy threw a timing belt on. It bent 7 valves and they should be here this morning hopefully so i can throw the headgasket on and put that bitch up for sale. I got it as payment for the work plus 500 dollars. It'll easily sell for 12k but I'm gonna ask 7k because I want a fast sell. When it comes to this start simple. Then work your way up. I am going to tell you right now you will fuck up. It happens.
Resident advocate at a homeless transition center. About 1600$ a month.
6/10 job is stupid easy 80% of the time. Absolutely impossible the other 20%
Fuck up is a fuck up. I don't let that shit get to me. I take it as it is and try to learn from it. What would you say would be a decent starting car that I can try for? Was thing something Ford since they're like dirt cheap around here.
psychologist in a living facility for kids in the age of 15 - 18
3.318 EUR a month
on the days the shit goes down, the kids beat each other up, steal or rape and i have to solve conflicts and do some deep talking it's like a 9/10
the days when all i do is standing around, drinking coffee and smoking cigs, it's a 5/10
Accounting fag for a multibillion dollar entity
Travels a lot
Been to at least 15 states, several countries
It's alright. I really like my boss and the travel. But accounting is not something I want to be in forever.
Helping an elderly couple sell shit on eBay. $9USD an hour, 6 hours ish a day, Monday-Friday. 5/10. Hate the people, the work is easy, but boring as ass, but the money's good. Especially since I don't have to pay rent/bills of any kind.
Blown engines suck unless you wanna pull them out quick and smash in a junkyard one. Bad auto transmissions on older stuff is mostly not worth fixing. Salvage title only really is an issue when reselling. Water damage. That's a big one. Stay away from water damage unless it's like your dream car and are gonna keep it for yourself and get it at a hell of a deal. They suck badly. You will put a lot of work into flood stuff.
delivery driver for big online shop
7/10, some days are easy some days are stressful as fuck. like being out on the road by myself and not having a supervisor/boss around most of the time.
33 yo Shoe sales man in soho NYC. 8/10 cause I get to just sell and fuck the occasional 20 year old slut who likes to drink and party because stressed about working 15 hrs a week while going to school here and there. Make about 15 an hour but at 5% commission on everything I sell. Checks vary 1600-2200 every two weeks and that's after 401k,insurance and taxes. Life is good.
Alright, so old autos, water damage, and blown engines. Doesn't seem too hard to stay away from. Cost wise, what seems like a good start up budget? I'm like, $200 in the bank because I just bought my dream bike and it's being worked on right now. I figured something like 3k if I got a sub-$1k car, but I have no idea how well that would resale.
Sell parts to large machinery and do office clerical shit
>$13/hr with benefits
>Sits on my ass all day and plays on /b
>Actually do a good job at this shit still
Also I sell drugs on the side, make hella more money off of that cause I have lots of people I sell too. Best turn around I make is on 4-ho-met. I buy 5 grams for $275 and sell it at $120 per 200mg. Usually have bulk buyers as well so I usually make just over 2 grand from the 5 grams. I do every week or so
I'd say 3k start up budget and get more desirable cars you can flip quick for at least 10% profit. Some you have to take break even on other take a loss. It's the nature of it. I have 10k sitting in my bank account right now dedicated to ohh shit fund and another 4k in my services budget. So if I absolutely have to get an engine or trans I can. I have so many junkers it's not funny. I've got a literal junkyard in on my little ranch. I've been doing this for 8 years so it takes time. I work part time in case work gets slow and it does sometimes. Gotta pay bills. 17 running cars and around 20 sitting out back that I rob parts off of. I have 5 toys and the rest are just beaters I drive when I need to go do something. I love my crown jewel which is my pos looking flat black primer 85 camaro with a turbo 6.0l. My buddy has a dyno I threw it on a couple weeks ago and it threw down 700ish to the tire.
Sounds like you've got it made man, it really does. Saving up that much is gunna take a fuck long time for sure, minimum wage being what it is. Not to mention I wanna pay off my old bike quickly so that's another 4K set back. Seems like it'll be a year before I save up that 3k at least. Well thanks for the advice Anon, I'll take it to heart when browsing CL wishing I could start up already.
Sounds pretty cool, im currently looking for something like that. I have experience in retail and I'm 22, I'd be a great match, e-mail me if you can give me a shot [email protected]
Bro ill make it easy for you, ballys, colehaan, uno de 50,Alex and ani,mo851 are some of the places paying 12-15 an hour depending on experience and obviously how well you bullshit in the interview. All these places start at either 2-3 percent commission but it's tiered so you can reach as high as 6%. The hourly and percentage is not important what is important is that you get a position working 30 hrs or more a week to really make great scratch. Just take the train downtown and request to speak to the manager or hiring manager and dress to the current trends. Don't be like these dudes who look like they just bought a suit...also open availability and if you're attractive and speak more than one language it's a plus.
Can't wait for the weekend to begin.
They asked me if I could make a movement tracker foor patients, something to do with physiotherapy. So I am going to buy a 9dof stick from sparkfun and act like I am working on it for some months.
They asked me if I could make a movement tracker foor patients, something to do with physiotherapy
The Australian government pays most and when i start earning enough the rest just automatically comes out of my income.
Kinda wish I did better back in high school to gain a scholarship.
Full time student Engineering major
>Living off grants and scholarships, poor people government programs
Construction background so I still get some side work but not much now that I'm a full time student
7/10 wish I had more money but really full filling and challenging
Physical Security Threat Assessor.
4K a month with contract bonuses so usually 80k a year.
More when everyone freaks out about terrorists.
Definitely 8/10 for a BS job
>Most client asks to have someone sneak into their building and reach the Executive Area
>walk to door with a bunch of boxes and wait for an employee to come by. I smile ask if they can open door and I'm in.
Data and Survey Researcher for a big company I won't mention here
100k a year whish is pretty nice.
5/10 It's very boring a lot of times. You need to study incredible amounts of very complex shit to get the job, but in practice you need almost nothing of it. If research was paid better I would have stayed there
Papa Johns assistant manager
322$ a week 8/10
Not bad since I'm back on the embezzlement train. Easily pull at the minimum 50$ a night. Guilty but worth it.
Only downside is running through staff cause nothing but teenagers apply.
You're the dense one. I suppose you meant to suggest his vocabulary or diction or register were too low for a lawyer. However, what he wrote was not substantially different from what other people on here with similar jobs wrote.
I'm in management at one of the big auto parts chains and make $15.50/h
It's pretty straight-forward and not hard but dealing with fucking customers is very draining. I'm not into cars like I used to be and don't even work on my own so I really don't like it anymore.
I know that feel, went to college for a year. Couldn't pay up for one class that got cancelled, had to eat the cost for books for the class now I owe the college $300. Got no job to pay it back and absurdly depressed. Life is literally 1/10 for me right now.
Cart boy at golf course $8/hr
Was moving and the first job that hired me.
6/10. Pay sucks and has only made me hate the baby boomers even more. Although I get I discount at the grill $2 burgers
26, unemployed, haven't worked since I was 18.
Had a really shitty up bringing, come from a pretty wealthy family but they were the most heartless and greedy people you could imagine. Would scam anyone and anyone for a few bucks. Grandfather wa the reason of all the wealth and he was a good man. He and I were very close but his daughter (my aunt) started making it very difficult for him and I to hang out. I didn't realize why until after my grampy passed. He left just about everything to me in his will, over $100 million. Family was nice at first than I saw the conniving bs again. I cut ties and left. Haven't seen or heard from them in over 5 years, all i do is travel, fuck bitches, and shoot guns. Don't live a life of luxury, just one where I do whatever I want.
Current med student using GI bill; I earn $1,400 a month for that. I'm also a range master at a shooting range making $10.50 an hour, and i am also a driver for Uber. At the end of the month, I earn about $3,400 a month if I do well enough.
Shooting range: 2/10
As much as I love guns, and shooting; it is absolutely terrifying to see what kind of people actually own them.
dude, fuck you if you're like this,
but I hate my attorney. He's about 30 someodd and I'm 20 someodd, so theres this age gap that makes him talk to me like a little kid and he tries to make decisions without me. He almost took a fucking plea deal on a bullshit violent charge (got into a fight with a family member) when I wanted it gone without even fucking consulting me. We had it out in that court room library afterwards and he was already on retainer so had to keep him but fuck was I mad.
job Full time cart attendent 10.60 an hr
have my own studio apartment and 2 shitty but running cars. Have 401k,medical and dental. I have been single since March since gf left me for some guy who has money (realize she doesnt like poor fucks). I am doing okay?
Im considering trying to get better at being an auto mechanic take some certification classes or possibly get a gig at a ice cream plant. I have consider going to the navy as a last resort if all else fails
Mechanics make decent cash and if it's interesting to you it would turn into a decent career and something you could even do on the side/your own shop for more money. Your other plan is another minimum wage factory job? C'mon dude
pretty tough to find places here in soca our biggest industry literally got cut in half, I have a friend who suggested applying for the city or a school district to do yard work. I have some exp in that field they make do pretty well. Im kinda stuck in a small rut hoping I get my shit together soon, Im not doing too bad but I know I can be doing alot better
beginning winning gambler, $1000/3000 a month. 5.5/10 (it's like work and not much fun and very stressful AND very difficult)
I can train you if you want (also poor people).
The only thing I am asking for, is a donation when you make you make your first cash out.
Drive a CLA250 myself. Have the 4matic version to deal with Flagstaff snow. Not a bad car. Gets me to and from work. Drive 150 miles/day 4 days/weeks
I really want a GLE 450 coupe, but it's out of my price range.
I'll get flamed for this but spend some time on Reddit Personal Finance. Learn to budget, set your goals as saving an emergency fund first, then save towards getting a (mechanic) certificate. Your life could go in two directions -
1 - You continue taking it easy and are a low earner for the rest of your life
2 - You buckle down, give up some amenities for a while and enjoy a comfortable middle class life in a few years.
Good luck man don't get bogged down by other lazy people around you. Everyone's in a rut at some point. Everyone.
LEDDIT FEGGIT OMG OMG OMG OMG
FUCKING TRAITOR SCUM MUHHHHH SECRET INTERNET CLUB!!
Repairman at a factory
~260$ a month, that includes about 3 extra working days on saturdays on average per month
0/10 I fucking HATE that job, it's both physically and mentally exhausting
i repair AC and Refrigeration for companies, £24k a year, 5/10.
if you dont mind lots of standing around waiting for things to happen or not happen so you can diagnose the problem then you will like it, but i find it boring as shit and sometimes its really stressful when a cooling tunnel goes down on production and every hour that its off costs them £30k and everybody is counting on you to know the problem and fix it.
