Good trick for the old man, though I feel bad that they have to go through that. My grandmother once walked into her house to find a young boy stealing her stuff, if he wasnt a young boy, she could have been really shit scared.

When you are in garrison there isn't much to do when not training. A lot of busy work and a shit ton of PowerPoint or Excel nonsense. A ton of training like hot/cold weather, sexual harassment, equal opportunity, etc. And when you are in command you deal with some of the dumbest shit from your troops.

Deployed you are actually doing, for the most part, what you signed up to do. And maybe you get to legally kill someone. I have not.

>In command
>soldier's son is a raging potato
>in my office for some shit about school not supporting potato
>son start going through my shit, but don't want to set him off
>potato dad tells him to knock it off...3...2...1...
>potato goes into rage mode
>throws himself everywhere swinging his arms like he is in the club throwing haymakers
>kid calms down after about 5 minutes...3...2...1...

Not green texting this one due to using phone.

We had a soldier shoot at people for a parking spot.

Drunken date rape comes around every now and then.

I had a troop that was getting drunk daily and not spending time with his wife. Wife calls me to get help because he has closed all of the accounts they shared.

She sounds super hot on the phone. She calls a few more times and the convos get flirty. Luckily, I stop myself from taking it too far. Help her get money and she thanks me for the help and wishes she had a man like me.

I see this girl a few weeks later at a unit event. Holy shit! She is pushing 300 and dresses like white trash that is 120 pounds. Fat hanging out everywhere.

I work in the apple store. I thought I was going to dislike dealing with old people but they're pretty easy and usually kind. It's the young kids that bring their friends in with no money just to be obnoxious. Every day I have to kick out kids for blasting music in the store with no intentions of buying anything.

After some time of moving, I got access to people that would buy off the darknet markets. Its probably easier to get access yourself.

> darknet markets offer all substances at super good prices, very high quality and usually trustworthy if you pick a good vendor

Although the first few times, I just had to hustle for contacts and picked up some from people who would find it at bush raves etc.

In the end, everything started coming from online sources because it was top knotch stuff.

While i have a job and posted it, I tried everything you listed.

>Walmart
Got a job there due to knowing someone, worst job ever. And even then, I ONLY got it because someone I knew worked there.

>Starbucks
Not a girl or flamboyant as fuck? Good. Fucking. Luck.

>Frys
I don't know about others, but the Frys where I live is pretty damn far. I doubt they'd hire someone who needs to get there with public transportation unless you really made a damn good impression.
>Implying getting an interview

>McDonalds
Probably your only bet, but think of it this way. It's not that they couldn't go apply and get an interview, but how many others do you think also apply and such? The amount of people that apply to McDonalds as a last ditch effort is huge, and they can't give everyone a job. I'd say maybe 1 in 5 will get a job while the rest won't even be called back when the one person they chose doesn't work out.

People saying that people without jobs are lazy have their heads up their ass. If someone's out making an honest effort to get a job, but just can't land one, it's not lazy at all.

>>684092709

I live on the coast, so I guess that would be easy money. I have no knowledge at all, but I catch on VERY fast if it's something I'm interested in learning. Generally only need to see it once, if it has my attention, and I can near perfectly do it myself from there after. I can generally take that knowledge and throw it at similar things. Watched my bike get an oil change. I can now change the oil on damn near any bike you throw my way, and assume it's pretty similar to cars.

Usually have bulk buyers as well so I usually make just over 2 grand from the 5 grams. I do every week or so
>>
>>684097624
I'd say 3k start up budget and get more desirable cars you can flip quick for at least 10% profit. Some you have to take break even on other take a loss. It's the nature of it. I have 10k sitting in my bank account right now dedicated to ohh shit fund and another 4k in my services budget. So if I absolutely have to get an engine or trans I can. I have so many junkers it's not funny. I've got a literal junkyard in on my little ranch. I've been doing this for 8 years so it takes time. I work part time in case work gets slow and it does sometimes. Gotta pay bills. 17 running cars and around 20 sitting out back that I rob parts off of. I have 5 toys and the rest are just beaters I drive when I need to go do something. I love my crown jewel which is my pos looking flat black primer 85 camaro with a turbo 6.0l. My buddy has a dyno I threw it on a couple weeks ago and it threw down 700ish to the tire.

I know that feel, went to college for a year. Couldn't pay up for one class that got cancelled, had to eat the cost for books for the class now I owe the college $300. Got no job to pay it back and absurdly depressed. Life is literally 1/10 for me right now.

26, unemployed, haven't worked since I was 18.

Had a really shitty up bringing, come from a pretty wealthy family but they were the most heartless and greedy people you could imagine. Would scam anyone and anyone for a few bucks. Grandfather wa the reason of all the wealth and he was a good man. He and I were very close but his daughter (my aunt) started making it very difficult for him and I to hang out. I didn't realize why until after my grampy passed. He left just about everything to me in his will, over $100 million. Family was nice at first than I saw the conniving bs again. I cut ties and left. Haven't seen or heard from them in over 5 years, all i do is travel, fuck bitches, and shoot guns. Don't live a life of luxury, just one where I do whatever I want.
>>
Current med student using GI bill; I earn $1,400 a month for that. I'm also a range master at a shooting range making $10.50 an hour, and i am also a driver for Uber. At the end of the month, I earn about $3,400 a month if I do well enough.

School: 6/10
Shooting range: 2/10
Uber: 10/10

As much as I love guns, and shooting; it is absolutely terrifying to see what kind of people actually own them.

dude, fuck you if you're like this,
but I hate my attorney. He's about 30 someodd and I'm 20 someodd, so theres this age gap that makes him talk to me like a little kid and he tries to make decisions without me. He almost took a fucking plea deal on a bullshit violent charge (got into a fight with a family member) when I wanted it gone without even fucking consulting me. We had it out in that court room library afterwards and he was already on retainer so had to keep him but fuck was I mad.

I'll get flamed for this but spend some time on Reddit Personal Finance. Learn to budget, set your goals as saving an emergency fund first, then save towards getting a (mechanic) certificate. Your life could go in two directions -

1 - You continue taking it easy and are a low earner for the rest of your life

or

2 - You buckle down, give up some amenities for a while and enjoy a comfortable middle class life in a few years.

Good luck man don't get bogged down by other lazy people around you. Everyone's in a rut at some point. Everyone.

i repair AC and Refrigeration for companies, £24k a year, 5/10.

if you dont mind lots of standing around waiting for things to happen or not happen so you can diagnose the problem then you will like it, but i find it boring as shit and sometimes its really stressful when a cooling tunnel goes down on production and every hour that its off costs them £30k and everybody is counting on you to know the problem and fix it.
