Here a bit, 'til i have to go to work.
fish is tasty tasty
but of course i need to prep and get ready
anyone got the full color of this?
>>710534901
Hey Ethereal.
>>710534965
I prefer steak.
wtf is wrong with you people
>>710534430
> What'd be the typical price for non electric then?
1k for cheap Chinese shit or necro Japanese moto. 3 grand for okay-quality new bike. 5-6k for the good stuff. 10+ grand is luxury.
>>710535072
I find red meat does not conform to my palate
much prefer a nice piece of salmon
>>710535288
Salmon is good too.
>>710535420
>tfw no bear mode gf to cuddle with
That body is absolutely perfect imo.
>>710535539
>why even life
>>710535790
Hope that one day gene modding will be good enough to make my bear mode gf.
>>710535709
Got any more of her?
>>710534609
Anyone particular one in mind then?
>>710534646
Sounds like it was more or less made for ye then.
Also sounds like it'll take quite a bit of saving, but I'm sure you'll be riding your own one someday.
>>710535159
Didn't even know that there were bikes that sold for 1k.
Gotta be something off with em with a price like that.
>>710535906
Gene modification won't be a thing in our lives. Because it would mean that humanity achieved immortality. That's wishful thinking really, we are all gonna die without cuddling the qt's we desire.
>>710536548
I think there's a good chance of robo-fur-waifus
not quite the same but I'll take what I can get
>>710536480
Yep. Hopefully within a few months, but that's probably just wishful thinking.
>>710536548
I'd say we have a couple decades before gene modding is good enough to make fully anthropomorphic animals, but that's just me.
>>710536480
this?

>>710536376
don't think so, sorry
>>710536724
Get a Lighting LS-218.
http://lightningmotorcycle.com/
>>710536907
Fuckin drool!
>>710537077
Love that bike. But if we're talking about insane performance, I'd rather have an H2.
>>710537163
Das gay mayne. Not that I care because Accelo is my husbando anyway.
>>710536665
>1 off quads
That was close
No harm being a tad bit ambitious in my opinion anyway.
The more ye want something the sooner ye'll get it.
>>710536724
Feck those ain't cheap
Looks as thought they'd be worth every penny though
Off to organise some shit for the morrow
Enjoy the rest of the thread everyone
>>710537470
That is definitely true. Hopefully I'll get my job as a mechanic soon.
>>710536654
Nah. The most advanced human-like Japanese robots are uncanny valley tier right now. They cannot even walk properly because fancy hydraulics require huge amounts of energy, so all those robots which can walk like we do in some manner, they are wired and powered from the outlet with gigantic cables. And you want a furry one, which is even more complicated. The only thing you can hope for is feral doggo, if companies like Boston Dynamics succeed in the future.
>>710536665
Wishful thinking. We cannot even clone other people, and that's 3 times as simple. Can't cure plenty of diseases. Gene modding right now is basically fruit selection, that's it.
>>710537470
And see ya.
>>710537611
You also have to consider how fast technology accelerates. We already have fully functioning robotic prosthetic limbs, and we're getting close to making AI, so I wouldn't put it past DARPA to throw massive amounts of funding into making hybrid war machines. If they aren't already secretly doing that that is.
>>710537241
performance is not too big a concern for me.
i need a practical bike to get me around. electric is the dream so i dont bleed money to gas.
*more getting ready for work*
>>710537611
I think it would actually be easier to make animal inspired animatronics that aren't uncanny - less pressure to get facial expressions exactly right, and it's much easier to fake fur than skin
also there are companies currently investing in developing humanoid sexbots
If they think its worth spending money on now, I'm optimistic about what we'll see in a few decades
>>710538028
I'd suggest getting a little 250 or 300 for gas mileage, but I don't know if you'd fit on one. They're just about the right size for me. Maybe something like a Suzuki DR650? Dual Sports are tall as fuck and good an mileage. Any 650 would be quite good for you.
>>710538322
sounds about right
everyone around me wants me to get a goddamn vespa.
>>710538587
Anon can you post that Glaceon image?
>>710538691
Yeah no. Scooters are not powerful enough to be riding most places. They can be dangerous. I would suggest a Suzuki DR650, or a Kawasaki KLR 650. They're tall bikes that you can take anywhere, and good for throwing on some bags in case you want to pick up some groceries, or even tour. They're practically indestructible too. Just not the best looking machines.
>>710538794
Huh?
>>710537915
>>710538135
Progress severely slowed down this decade, and it's only gonna get worse. Microelectronics and internet are the only things which advanced in this millennia. Everything else that humanity created is either worse or the same as it was in the 20th century. Basically, internet has reached it's peak long ago, Moore's law isn't working the last 7 years or so, and all the fancy tech this days is limited by oldschool batteries which are still made using ancient technology. Unless a miracle happens and some guy like Elon Musk manages to create a new battery type, you won't see anything futuristic in the next 2 decades.
>>710539135
That's just with electronics though. Consider CRISPR and how efficient it is.

Hey Dani.

G'ewening Dash
>>710539012
the Suzukis look decent, many thanks for the pointers.
im off to work
much love to all you guys
>>710539012
Depends
There are scooters with 600ccm, those sure aren't traffic obstacles. Realisitcally, anything 125ccm upwards is fine unless on freeways, if you don't expect much fun. A 250ccm Vespa would be fine for all practical uses.
>>710539406
Hi
>>710539135
I think that is something of a pessimistic view, if not downright inaccurate
A breakthrough in any number of fields, from batteries to novel actuators could propel the field of robotics years ahead
the vision problem and a number of other issues that were considered insurmountable even twenty years ago have been solved already
>>710539640
How are you doing?
>>710539644
Sure, man. I'm happy to help. Take care.
>>710539644
later
>>710539737
Perhaps, but the real question is, would you able to fit on one if you were 6'7" like Ethereal?
>>710539644
See you
>>710539737
G'evening Gears
>>710539867
That's huge, but should be possible. Can't speak much for Vespas, they were out of my price-range back then. But it should work. If not with the Vespa then with other scooters.
>>710539771
As usual
>>710535420
Hmmmmmm....
>>710540192
I personally don't like scooters very much, but that's probably just me being bias. I also suggested the dual sport because they combine everything perfectly, and are great for taller folk. Decent performance, good mileage, indestructible, and you can take them anywhere and do anything. I love dual sports. You can't do anything with a scooter but commute.
>>710540406
Scooters are great for commuting, but yes, not for much else.
They are however usually really cheap to run and offer a little compartment for luggage or your helmet, which can be really useful in everyday life. Also, shielding you against the environemten a little with the closed front helps a LOT during this time of the year. Believe me, commuting on a motorbike in November isn't fun. I tried.
>>710539339
I just found myself a new night"mare"
I am so sorry for that comment
