Nah. The most advanced human-like Japanese robots are uncanny valley tier right now. They cannot even walk properly because fancy hydraulics require huge amounts of energy, so all those robots which can walk like we do in some manner, they are wired and powered from the outlet with gigantic cables. And you want a furry one, which is even more complicated. The only thing you can hope for is feral doggo, if companies like Boston Dynamics succeed in the future.

I'd suggest getting a little 250 or 300 for gas mileage, but I don't know if you'd fit on one. They're just about the right size for me. Maybe something like a Suzuki DR650? Dual Sports are tall as fuck and good an mileage. Any 650 would be quite good for you.

Yeah no. Scooters are not powerful enough to be riding most places. They can be dangerous. I would suggest a Suzuki DR650, or a Kawasaki KLR 650. They're tall bikes that you can take anywhere, and good for throwing on some bags in case you want to pick up some groceries, or even tour. They're practically indestructible too. Just not the best looking machines.

Progress severely slowed down this decade, and it's only gonna get worse. Microelectronics and internet are the only things which advanced in this millennia. Everything else that humanity created is either worse or the same as it was in the 20th century. Basically, internet has reached it's peak long ago, Moore's law isn't working the last 7 years or so, and all the fancy tech this days is limited by oldschool batteries which are still made using ancient technology. Unless a miracle happens and some guy like Elon Musk manages to create a new battery type, you won't see anything futuristic in the next 2 decades.

There are scooters with 600ccm, those sure aren't traffic obstacles. Realisitcally, anything 125ccm upwards is fine unless on freeways, if you don't expect much fun. A 250ccm Vespa would be fine for all practical uses.

I personally don't like scooters very much, but that's probably just me being bias. I also suggested the dual sport because they combine everything perfectly, and are great for taller folk. Decent performance, good mileage, indestructible, and you can take them anywhere and do anything. I love dual sports. You can't do anything with a scooter but commute.

Scooters are great for commuting, but yes, not for much else.
They are however usually really cheap to run and offer a little compartment for luggage or your helmet, which can be really useful in everyday life. Also, shielding you against the environemten a little with the closed front helps a LOT during this time of the year. Believe me, commuting on a motorbike in November isn't fun. I tried.
