My anxieties been controlling me for 25 years, but it's cause / triggered by noises. Ive had to wear wax buds to blocks most of it. But I still get some noises coming through. I think my neighbours know this and do it on purpose, I've kept a record and I see patterns.
Last year I was sectioned for performing minor surgery on the back of my ear trying to cut the nerve, to make my self complete deaf. No luck...
