I always played the campaign first to get used to the guns in the game... but this way you're just gonna have to spend hours experimenting to see what's good and how to use it properly.
I've not played/bought a COD game since Advanced Warfare and after this announcement of no story mode I doubt I'll bother with this.
Black Ops 2 was the last good COD game anyway.
