The only thing people do for fun in Maryland is go to bars to get drunk or go to the beach to get drunk. Perhaps this is the rest of the world as well, but when I went to Arizona, California, New York, Indiana and even Pennsylvania it seemed like people were mildly happier. And there was actually shit to do and things to see.
Ok see how boring this thread is? That's what it's like living here. We have 2 moderately ok seasons, beginning of Fall and beginning of Spring where it's not a humid mosquito swamp or a frozen deathtrap of a state for a few weeks out of the year. Our beaches suck ass, crabs are disgusting, and Old Bay can die in a fire. Fuck this state.
