Honestly, not really. I mean...no one seems willing to do jack shit about it. The Republicans and Democrats each have their own ideas and solutions about how to handle the mass shooting problem, and each finds the other's ideas so repugnant that they fight it tooth and nail.
Personally I'm all on board with arming teachers and/or putting a lot more police on school campuses who are much more heavily armed, but the Democrats are all hyperbolic in their insistence that the "answer to gun crime is not more guns," which is a gross oversimplification of the issue.
I think we need to do something about this but I think draconian gun control should be the absolute last solution. Let's try EVERYTHING ELSE first before we start taking people's rights away. The second amendment exists for a reason.
