like with what we saw in other species, homosexuals also probably provided additional support for children when a parent died, or even assisting them even further if the parents were alive. after all when you are in a pack or tribe it isn't 'every man for himself'. having more parents than kids means the kids are a lot more likely to survive. so its natural for gays to still want children, in fact it stands to reason that they would want to help protect OTHERS childrens from an evolutionary stand point.
it didn't mean that the gay people were genetically inferior, nor did it mean that their genes need to end. if that was the case 99% of humans would be gay, because from a wilderness survival stand point all of our genes are absolute shit. we are not designed to survive in the wild anymore. but like i said, evolution, and more specificallt your genes, are NOT sentient. they do not make a decision about sexuality based on your other genes. it is its own independent gene in the case of genetics (however its been proven that there are multiple reasons one might be gay).
