Not at all. I only have like two "friends" and we see each other once a month or so. The rest of the time I am a loner, often bullied at school for being always on my own, but I have good grades, I am smart and hard-working so it does not really matter to me. Learn - things such as long-lasting friendships or relationships do not exist so do not waste your time on these short-period feelings and grow up, improve instead. You may feel lonely pretty frequently but it's a thing we all get used to at some point.

Its not weird but it does make it harder to succeed. You will have to create literally every opportunity yourself. Other people have utility. Its not cold or calleous see them as a means to an end. If you're naive or a romantic than may seem a harsh reality but if thats the case you need to grow the fuck up. Think of friends as belonging to certain layers or circles, it's only a very few who will or should get to your inner circle with the most inner circle just containing a group of 1 - you. Ultimately we will all die alone in that most inner circle, even if surrounded by those you love or loved. I cant see how one can ever know thyself if they have never seen themselves through the eyes of others.
