Don't really know whether this could be considered paranormal or not, but here I go: a few years ago I went to sleep after work (I used to work from early morning to noon) and dreamed about somebody calling my house and telling us my grandmad had died (she had been dead for two years at that time) I woke up to the sound of our phone ringing. I have a few. I moved into an apartment that was buried on an Indian burial ground. Normally I keep my house tidy. One time while sleeping on my couch I woke up to hearing a bag moving but I kept my eyes shut. When I moved the sound stopped and there were a ton of Walmart bags all over my floor. Another time my apartment filled with like a billion flies, I went around with a vacuum, sucking them out of the air. Then when the bats started to fill the apartment every night, I decided enough was enough and decided homelessness would be more peaceful but I was lucky and got another apartment.
That apartment was infested with these tiny little human things about 4 inches tall. They were hideous and smoked out of tiny pipes. They would fill the rug with maggots. They would scratch me in my sleep.
I moved into a trailer where pictures or whatever I put on the walls would just fall off. I would randomly have shit fly at my head, Legos, books, etc, I lived alone. Book cases would fall over, my dresser to in the middle of the night.
Finally when I turned my life over to Jesus, the shit stopped.
I have been taken on several vision quests with a shaman guide (i live in SF), and I actually have seen some crazy shit, and even seen other shamans in training have incredible experiences.
I could go into explicit detail of these spirit journeys, it took me several times to actually encounter my spirit animal. but in short, its not paranormal.
Human minds are very complex, but that doesnt mean we cant figure out ways to mess with them. by purposefully going into trances, and focusing on specific imagery, youre going to create subconscious consistencies that will eventually result in some sort of ethereal, supernatural phenomena because it feels so real.
not to say that these visions and journeys dont yield some sort of knowledge, but that knowledge was there all along.

Then I dreamed some other stuff that was pretty normal. The next day when I came back from school, my dad was in his bathroom screwing in a new lightbulb. Years later he told me about how he had been attacked by a demon and how it had broken the light. Needless to say, I believed him. I've also had weird dreams where I've seen just random scenes in the future. I might be outside just walking, or having a conversation, and suddenly I'm struck with the realization that I've seen it before in a dream. I know you guys won't believe any of this, but I legitimately believe that I witnessed/tried to kill my dad as a ghost, and I have evidence that it's not just some dejavu but that I actually do have those dreams and they do happen exactaly as I dreamt them in real life. Does that make me insane? Probably. Does any of it matter? Probably not. But I will tell you this. The world is pretty crazy /b/, and I can't make sense if it.

I (9th grade or younger maybe) focused really hard on sending a mental letter to a girl i liked but never talked to. Told her go to the pool in my town. Thought the message over and over for like 20 minutes.

After about 10 seconds, this star shot to the right, zooming out of our view. I guess the direction wouldve been north.
The speed at which something that far away or small zoomed away was incredible.
It looked as fast as a fly zooming past your eye from inches away, but this UFO or whatever had to have been miles away thus covering a shitload of distance.

The first week went by without incident. Then, after about a week, I was woken by the sound of a door slamming shut. It was a bedroom door down the hall, it wasn't windy outside. It was really fucking loud. I went to go investigate and when I opened the door, all of the pictures in the hallway fell off the wall simultaneously.
Two days later, I was making breakfast and I went into the living room to answer my cellphone. When I walked back into the kitchen, all of the cabinets and the drawers were opened.
I changed a burnt out light bulb in the basement during daylight, because there are small windows near the ceiling that illuminated the basement. That night, I heard noises coming from down stairs. I went to go investigate and realized they were coming from the basement. I turned on the light, went down the stairs and started looking around. When I was on the other side of the basement, the light bulb over the staircase popped and I was suddenly in a dark basement. I froze. I started hearing whispered voices. I heard a wooden chair being dragged across the floor. I freaked the fuck out and stumbled through the basement until I felt the staircase and ran upstairs to the kitchen.
It took me about an hour to calm down. Finally built up the nerve to face my fear and so I opened the door to the basement and with a flashlight, I replaced the blown out light bulb by unscrewing it with a potato I had cut in half. I replaced the bulb and started walking back up the stairs and it popped again. Then the door at the top of the stairs slammed shut.
I got the fuck out of that house in less than a minute. I've never been back. Left my clothes and everything.

There were a few instances long ago when I would dream something happened, and then I'd later find out it was true. It is uncanny how accurate some of the visual details turned out to be. Also happened to my daughter a couple of times. But I have no control on when such a dream might happen.

Quite a few things, some years ago in the first house where I lived.
The first time was when I was 14, I used to sleep with a glass of water just near my bed. Every night, when I went to sleep I used to stay like 10/20 minutes trying to close my eyes, but never made to sleep till I drank the glass of water.
The thing was, that one of those days, I noticed something weird, so when I got ready to open my eyes it felt like someone was sitting in my bed. When I opened my eyes I saw it, it was a shining white figure without face, and despite being "shiny,it didnt brighted the room. I panicked and stood in my bed and start to shout, as soon as I did it, the figure stood up and left my room as if it was levitating through the door. I know it wasnt sleep paralysis because I start having it many years later very often,and this experience was not even close. Also, in that home we used to live with the fact that sometimes the lights went on and off without any reason.
Also when I was 16 I was eating some milk with cookies with a friend in the kitchen before going out in a summer afternoon, no one was at home and all the windows where closed. The doors in that house had a handle that could only be open by using some force. And while we where having our milk with cookies, the handle of the door of the kitchen went all way down (without coming up yet), the door slowly opened and when it was fully opened the handle slowly came back to its position, we panicked and left the house in a hurry. A lot of weird stuff happened in that house.

When I was 12 I remember playing on my psp late at night while everyone was asleep and I heard someone walking up the stairs slowly. The sound grew louder with each step and when it reached the top of the second set of stairs iit had stopped. I looked outside my room and say nothing and I waited for the next 30 minutes but nothing emerged.
