Who would win?
Arduino wins duh. Kratos can't fly.
Alduin because he keeps being reborn.
And even if Kratos somehow managed to steal Alduin's soul the world would never end as Alduin could never "eat the world" thus blocking a possible new start of the world, hindering Kratos' rebirth in a new cycle.
So either Kratos dies over and over again in every cycle or both die for good.

vanilla alduin is so shit that no one ever bothers with him a second time. You, after getting bored with everything else, modded him and fought him other times. What i mean to be implying is also what you are saying as you aren't re-fighting alduin, that is you arent going to to fight the same alduin a second time. Each time you fight you add something to make the fight more interest and as such not the same fight. Mods can do wonderful things but the question is: would you ever go fight vanilla alduin again?

ill give you some info here. the daedra are LITERALLY the strongest active beings in TES universe. the gods (the Aedra" are far inferior having lost almost all their godly power when tricked into creating nirn. The strongest of the Aedra is Akatosh of whom Alduin is the first born son of. why the fuck would nigh-omnipotent immortal beings be afraid of the eldest son of their retarded cousins'?

he wouldnt have the power of the dragonborn dynasty (the only reason martin could do that was all the septims were dragonborn and thats why he could channel an avatar of akatosh) nor his fathers blessed blood now does he have the power of prophecy (which even if he did wouldnt matter as we are talking alduin vs. kratos here and kratos overrides prophecy on a daily basis)
so alll alduin really has is that hes an above average dragon (if i recall correctly there are many stronger dragons in the game) with a special power to go to sovngarde when he dies and consume mortal souls to return to life he really isnt as powerful as portrayed Nirn is just full of weak pieces of shit
hell i could thinnk of several characters in TeS that would easily be able to kill alduin and not all of them are even Daedra/Aedra

As for Kratos... I don't think prophecy plays apart in this fight. I think a dragonborn being needed to beat Alduin is quite literal.

you are horribly underestimating the daedric princes they could probably even give kratos a run for his money. They are nigh-omnipotent evrywhere else but thats because they have to weaken themselves to leave their plane of oblivion (another reason Martin was able to expell Mehrunes Dagon) and if you somehow kill one outside their plane then they just reform within their plan. They can only be killed within their own plane of oblivion, and within their own plane they ARE omnipotent.they are literal gods and even the land is just an extension of their will.
as for kratos and prophecy you are correct in a way. The reason that a dragonborn is literally required is that only a dragonborn can absorb the soul of a dragon. Kratos however has absorbed the souls of gods so this isnt true and he could probably even destroy his souls itself without having to absorb it (as there are several other characters even within TES easily capable of that as well)
