I was out refilling some bird feeders and I found this. His paw is stuck in the spring loaded mechanism thats supposed to keep out anything that weighs more than a bird.
What do I do now?

Squirrels are mammals - they are much more closely related to humans than birds are. I put huge amounts of food out for the wildlife in my gardens, and sure, the squirrels eat their share of the food, as do the foxes, hedgehogs, frogs, etc..
They are all great fun to watch - the squirrels especially play like little kids. I have a platform a couple of metres up a big ash tree and this morning a squirrel was jumping up off it to catch hold of a thin springy branch, so that it could swing up and down on it. Over and over again for about half an hour. It was hilarious.
They play hide & seek and chase / tag etc., These little guys are intelligent, self aware, and resourceful. They deserve a chance to get the best out of their lives, just like we want for ourselves.
I hope you can find a way to safely release it from the spring-loaded feeder / trap that you are using, without injuring it (or yourself).
