The show starts off akin to those monster-of-the-week shows where it's the two main characters, fighting something new every episode. It starts to be more story focused as time goes on.
I would say the first season is okay, necessary to know the characters. It really starts to hit off after the first season though. It is definitely better than I first thought it would be, and no, it's not like >>768623100 this dipshit is projecting at all. Not once has the show ever tried to showcase how "ethnically diverse" it is or how great it is being such a girl in a strong role. Hell that one episode of Marco pretending to be a girl was one of the more fun episodes of the first season and they continue that gag in funny ways.
If you have other shows to watch, I'd say skip this one until you find the time. Otherwise it's a pretty decent show to get into.
