Sure it was fast and the idea was cool but it has no legacy or deeds. It was never in service. For me the combat or operational history would have to be impressive to qualify as greatest. No, it didnt. Data from it contributed to the Boeing SST, which never went past the drawing board. Some data went to the Tupolev Tu-144 ("concordski") from espionage, but the Concorde project was Aérospatiale/BAC, specifically, similar aerodynamic designs from Bristol Aviation (UK), and Sud-Aviation (France).
Very little data was gained from the US because Boeing were competing in the same market at the time.
