Any high-powered rifle or shotgun aimed directly at the skull, not through the mouth. If using a handgun, pretty much anything will do if you strike the brain stem, otherwise you risk surviving with severe brain damage. Aim at the top of the forehead in a downward angle; never go for the temple if you want guaranteed death. I obviously don't advocate killing yourself, but this is the info you asked for.
