If you saw the person you hate the most in this world on the ground with a gunshot wound, would you try to help him stay alive?
>>768420510
Yes because I hate seeing people in pain
Yeah, probably.
I wouldn't be too broken up if he died, though.
>>768420510
Yes. I'm a first aider, so we don;t judge. I'd help a drunk driver who'd just mown down a bus queue if it came to it. It's what we do
>>768421076
Well. Some are better than others, morally
>>768420510
Yes I would. Being white takes more than just being white.
If it was the person I hate the most in the world, I'd probably call 911, tell them what's up, walk away, and not put any further thought into it.
There are only two people I truly hate.
If either of them were in that position I would let them both die.
No question. No argument. They're gone. I'd also shake the hand of the person who dispatched them and buy them a beer
lel, no. let the faggot die
>>768421413
Karma?
>>768421197
I'm an altruist by nature, so the first aider thing just fitted straight in.
Absolutely not, fuck that guy, might finish him off tbh
>>768420750
>>768421284
>>768421323
>>768421672
What did that person do?
>>768420510
Yea because in germachucky refusal to help is a crime
>>768421197
Sure, but that just means they get lower priority in triage.
>>768421857
Really?
>>768420510
If they're black I'd take video with my phone while shouting "wurlsta" and stealing it's wallet. I figure this activity would be familiar to him, providing him with some comfort.
>>768421922
Yes you can go to jail for that it called "unterlassene Hilfeleistung" (read it in hitlers voice)
>>768420510
If he was a cop, I'd point my gun at him and calmly explain that I'm not constitutionally obligated to provide him with aid.
>>768420510
I'll level with you, unless it was a hot chick, I probably wouldn't help anybody.
I mean, I'm gonna have to talk to the cops. I'll probably have to testify in court. I don't have time for that shit.
Besides, most of the people who get shot deserve it.
>>768421922
The Google-friendly term is "duty to rescue". Refusing to offer first aid without a good reason is illegal in some countries, including Germany, France and Canada.
>>768421839
More successful, better looking, and has a better personality than me. These are crimes punishable by death
>>768422087
same here in frogland, we have to help person in danger, or to the jailhouse you go
>>768421922
>>768422087
A lot of places have "good Samaritan" laws too.
Basically, it's just really fuckin' bullshit to leave someone who is obviously in trouble.
That's how you end up like China.
>>768420510
i'd like to say yes, but in the end, probably no
>>768421922
If you're able, you have to help. I think in the US you can be charged if you refuse to help an emergency service person if they request it.
In the UK it's different. The public are never called on to assist in any emergency (Unless they're pinning down a mugger for example, but once the cops arrive and take over, they're told to stand back)
As an official SJA First Aider, I'm automatically insured to the sum of £10,000,000 once I pass the course, so I can throw myself into an incident, and as long as I follow procedure, i'm untouchable if they want to sure me for crackinga rib while I was saving their lives and allowing them to see their fucking children again, the ungrateful cunt
If it was the person i hate the most, id drop my pants and lay a big ol log on their face, so they can die with no dignity, might take their wallet and treat myself to a nice dinner aswell.
>>768422331
Truth. I'd only help close friends and maybe family depending on who it was
>>768420510
Probably. Unless I was the one that shot them because they done something really irritating.
>>768422442
>frogland
I assume you mean fagrance
Sorry OP I would let you die, nothing personal
>>768422496
>If you're able, you have to help. I think in the US you can be charged if you refuse to help an emergency service person if they request it.
Ironically the emergency services in the US can totally refuse to help you.
Like that cop in New York ho refused to help that guy getting stabbed because he was scared.
>>768420510
I guess I can't help myself, can I?
>>768422087
>>768422404
Problem is most people don't know sufficient or adequate first aide and often end up making things worse.
Also, ever tried to assist a dude who has just been in a drunken fight? I have seen that happen once outside a bar, he was on the ground sperging out, legs thrashing, pissed himself. A white knight ran up saying 'i got this' the victim sat up punched the helper in the head then lay back down again. Both of them completely unconscious.
No idea of the final outcome but the guy who went to help was getting the most attention from the ambulance. He hit his head on the concrete and there was a bad crack noise.
i'd help my worst ennemy, even a war criminal, you don't know what kind of cripling / amount of pain/lose in dignity they can have, that's why everyone should help your worst ennemy
>>768420510
I'm human. Yes.
>>768422689
>Ironically the emergency services in the US can totally refuse to help you.
I kind of agree with this.
>>768422496
The US only has duty to rescue laws in around 10 states, and there is case law backing up your right to ignore dying bystanders.
>>768422496
>If you're able, you have to help. I think in the US you can be charged if you refuse to help an emergency service person if they request it.
Seeing as how the Supreme Court has ruled that even an on-duty police officer can refuse to provide aid without consequence, I'm going to assume no case against an ordinary citizen would go anywhere.
>>768422814
I dunno, I don't think we should let cowards join up to emergency services.
>>768420510
Mitch, from Auto Credit Sales?
I'd giggle with glee and watch while he died, and tell everyone else not to call because "I already have" and it's important not to clog the emergency lines.
>>768422707
Damn.
>>768422780
You don't have to offer first aid if you don't know how. Just call EMS and follow instructions if they give you any.
>>768422780
I though calling emergency counts as help too
>>768422859
>Seeing as how the Supreme Court has ruled that even an on-duty police officer can refuse to provide aid without consequence, I'm going to assume no case against an ordinary citizen would go anywhere.
Cops in the US tend to have immunity to most actions because they're "heroes" and shit. They also have good lawyers.
And average citizen has no trouble.
For instance, get recorded shooting an unarmed man in the back as he runs away or after demanding he play simon says and see if you go to jail or not.
>>768420687
This.
I'm a fucking pussy, can't stand seeing anyone or anything in agony.
Although to be honest I'm that much of a pussy I'd probably just stand there frozen not being able to do anything.
>>768421076
I've been looking doing a first aid course recently because I want to feel useful for once... is it a long course to take to get qualified?
>>768422827
I suppose that's a personal choice. I just couldn't
>>768422859
>even an on-duty police officer can refuse to provide aid without consequence
That kinda sucks, but in the US, I can see how your society has evolved to that point
>>768422911
It depends on the situation. Everyone who trains as a paramedic has to have done so with the absolute best of intentions, but when you've got a crackhead bleeding out from a bad fix, threatening you with a dirty needle, i can see how some would be reluctant to help
>>768423210
Which country? In the UK it's a 3-4 day course for newwbies, with 2-day refreshers every 2 years. it's better if your employer pays for it as it can be pricey
>>768420510
>when bugs... become real! nicee
>>768423223
I couldn't refuse to help either. I'm just saying it's usually not illegal.
>>768420510
Fuck no, I'd just fulfill my civic duty and call our overstretched NHS.
>>768423358
Agreed. If I was in a country with a high rate of personal lawsuits, I'd be awfully reluctant to offer help in a way that I was completely inexperienced and unqualified to do so. If I was commanded by an official, then i'd probably do so anyway, safe in the knowledge that ultimate culpability didn;t lie with me
>>768423223
>It depends on the situation. Everyone who trains as a paramedic has to have done so with the absolute best of intentions, but when you've got a crackhead bleeding out from a bad fix, threatening you with a dirty needle, i can see how some would be reluctant to help
I wouldn't really call that refusing to help, per se.
It should be the cop's jobs to confront and restrain violent individuals.
The paramedic's job is to treat them when it's safe to do so.
>>768423427
Hey, don;y worry. After Brexit kicks all the darkies out, it';ll be a 12-hour wait to get a broken leg fixed
>>768423571
Agreed. But in a solo situation, there would be sure no comeback on refusing to offer aid until such assistance arrived
what a stupid question. of course i wouldn't.
>>768422805
I'm human too and I would not. The person I hate most is a sociopath and I have seen them damage the lives of countless people. Sometimes you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette and sometimes the right choices aren't so obvious.
>>768420510
I'd pretend to but really just make their last moments more painful and terrifying. Example, whisper things i know will upset them into their ear, finger the hole, knee in the groin or somewhere that is going to hurt.
>>768420510
NO
For a price.
>>768422404
In Canada it is not illegal to ignore and walk away. What is illegal is get involved such as approaching, starting ti assist, talking etc and then just walking away.
>>768423782
Found the jew
>>768420510
Yes, of course. I'm an atheist, i don't believe in an afterlife. The only thing afterlife is death.
>>768421857
You guys are so cucked by the jews. Don't you just wish the japs didn't fuck up his plans...
Was in a similar situation and ended up helping them. felt like i was in autopilot
>>768420510
No, if I thought I could get away with it. I'd like him to know that I was leaving him to die in pain and alone, and that he deserved it.
Actually, no :-)
>>768420510
*Her
I'd step on it. Watch her squirm. Try not to have a single emotion on my face.
>>768422496
>As an official SJA First Aider,
Cool b/ro, I did some courses a couple of years ago, very impressed with the SJA standard.
>>768423322
Depends, SJA basic is a day, but if you want workplace basic that's another day, plus more if you want more. Kids is 2 days. Not too expensive either. Basically, any course you do is better than not doing anything.
>>768424602
Very this. I'm 44 now, but started first aid in the fucking cubs, before I was 10. While I got my badge, I'm not sure how well I'd have coped in an emergency at that age.
>>768424409
Not gonna lie, the last course I was on i felt I was observing the students more than the instructors were. they let a lot of shit slide
>>768424602
I'd hate to see the basic one day standard. Can't be much more than applying bandages and calling for an ambulance
>>768420510
i only hate capitalists and it's advocates, not any particular person
they deserve death
>>768425292
>i only hate capitalists and it's advocates, not any particular person
>they deserve death
>>768425408
great post, i rate it 14/88
you must be really smart, i bet your IQ is 88 too
