I think WTC 7 was intentionally dropped because there weren't any firefighters left to deal with it, nobody was inside of it anyway, and the building, like all skyscrapers, was prerigged with explosives in case of a future demolition. For obvious reason the latter is only communicated to a very small group of people.
Just think about it, what if there were so many fires in manhatten it simply cannot be contained. Surely they have a contingency plan for this. I think they followed the steps from that playbook that day. They blew the building before it could cause harm to the skyscrapers around it. Besides that the video is very repetitive, it's completely based on the assumption that the speed of descent of the buildings was very close to what free fall would have been like, but it's clearly not. Just look at it closely (5:34 is a good example).
When the debree flies off it like a fountain, look at the rate of descent of the debree flying to the ground and the rate of descent of the top of the building. The debree falls at practically twice the speed. The building is clearly not in a free fall.
Whatever these engineers have convinced themselves off, their example where the top section had enough energy to bring the whole building gradually down is probably accurate to what actually happened.
