I know most people just see it as a Fluffy term for hide and go seek, but I once read a headcanon that "hide and go peep" is where one foal closes its eyes and the other one runs and hides, then starts making peeping noises constantly while the first foal tries to find it. It was supposed to be because fluffies are so stupid that they'll often misplace their babies, so training them in hide and go peep when they're young will teach them to listen for the peeping of their misplaced foals.
I've seen like... maybe two or three stories that utilized this idea, which is a real shame because it's fucking brilliant and fits into the world so perfectly.
