Good call. Super comfy day for me. Raining all day, often quite heavy. Cooled down a lot so I just stayed in bed listening to the rain most of the afternoon/evening.
>>768349488
I unironically like this idea. So often the only thing my hotel room is used for is sleeping and bathroom (I assume they have some nearby). I don't want to pay for 3 shitty chairs and ugly art on the wall. I like it nice and cozy.

we need to find a place that gets driving rain often and isn't a tropical rainforest. Maybe cascadia?? The trick is to have it so often that its awesome and not repetitive. I enjoy sunny days, but it gets old, especially when hot as fuck.

I did for a while, they're pretty good if and only if you get good with them. They take a really skilled and careful touch to get a precise amount of heat out of, otherwise you end up cooking yourself or losing the flame. Still, there's something to be said for having a weird esoteric skill like that to practice, and when you can get it right they're cozy af.

Only if you go to shit ones. I've lived and worked in hostels for years and they can range from comfy and chill /out/ places to shitty party/bar type deals in the city.
Best one I ever worked/lived in was basically in the forest by itself with only 20 other houses around. Day time everyone would go hiking, fishing, snowboarding, mountainbiking or just sunbathing and drinking by the lake.
Night time everyone'd get comfy with some beers, smokes and hang out. Maybe play some billiards or watch a movie.

Ah you always get those cunts. We'd get people come to front desk with mosquito bites and try to pass them off as bed bugs to get a free stay. Unfortunately hostels occasionally attract either the scum of the earth or people who think highly of themselves but are too cheap for a hotel room, but overall they've been good.
