The BMI calculation assumes a sedentary lifestyle. If you never work out and it says you’re fat, you’re fat. If you’ve weight trained for over 12 months, it’s probably not accurate.

i mean this bitch is clearly an idiot but the bmi scale doesnt actually give a good reading of health since it doesn't differentiate between fat and muscle mass nor does it account for where the fat is stored. better methods are caliper testing, air or water displacement or near infrared. im 5'11 but weigh 180 and only have 15% body fat but according to bmi i am over weight. or another example the rocks bmi is 30.1 making him morbidly obese.
