Yeh man, unions are kindof a necessary evil like that. Working for UPS a few years back you basically had to be part of the union or you would get fired within a week. The upside was you got breaks ALL the time, could never be fired, were basically your own boss, and of course got benefits.

I'd say liberal ideas don't cause any harm, and can actually be super beneficial, it's when they cross paths with authoritarianism and federalism that they become problematic. It depends on how you view it and how religious you are. I'd shill for a Christian theocracy if it did the right things. The things that the Taliban, Gulf Arabs, Syrian Rebels, and ISIS do have nothing to do with what we/I believe in.
In the end it's about changing the whole system from something focused on money or whatever other kufr other societies worship, to worship of God. It all falls in line with what Prophet Muhammad and his family fought and died for.

Same man, I really only tell close friends I even have it, and only very recently have been able to open up to my family about what I'm feeling when it comes around. For some reason theres this sort of natural scare that comes with it, like people see you as weak or something, but I've kindof gotten over that. Being able to talk to people and get some stuff off your chest and maybe even some synpathy does make you feel better though.

Being a Catholic I have seen the worst among Christians because despite modern beliefs, the schisms between the sects of christianity are fucking intense, and even within the faith we currently experience a major shift in the way we conduct ourselves, as the shittier old orthodox catholics are finally being superceded by younger more modern ones. Christianity is just such a mixed bag right now and I honestly despise the majority of mainstream American protestants. But interestingly enough the most lovely people I have ever met were Muslim immigrants. I met an overwhelming number of them when I worked for a Halal restaurant and I could not believe how generous and just kind most of them were. My only gripes with them culturally is that they seemed way too care free with their children, they just sort of roam around, make messes and do as they please, and this really seemed to carry over to the young adults among them who were raised here because they showed a total air of arrogance and privilege. Also I noticed a very unusual number of inbred children but I'm certain that has more to do with their cultural enviroment.

See, a lot of people will tell you to hit the gym. But they only say that because they actively enjoy the gym. But you see, its much better to get your exercise from doing something you enjoy. Pretty far in honestly. Its mostly a personal battle of realizing whats the point in following a political ideology if it's just compromising my beliefs for other issues. The issue I find with Anarchism is that it only really works in a vacuum. You can't possible escape human immorality, you can't escape the friction and clashes of people tustling for power and leadership. Anarchism seems to me to be a bunch of people looking for idealism that are willing to let go of the reigns of power under the naive assumption that nobody else will come along and take the reigns. Good hearted people believe people are good hearted, then they get hurt.

It's just lifting heavy weights m8. You train hard and work on your form and optimize what you can and see how strong you can get. Some people go crazy and start doing steroids but that isn't worth it for me. I just lift and try to still be somewhat healthy.
Powerlifting would scare you more than guns? I've had some chicks who pretty much were turned off by the fact I go to the gun range about once a week to shoot.

Well I don't do anything competition wise. Competition wise I've done some paintball tournaments for fun but I mostly just shoot occasionally for fun. Maybe girls just think I'm the usual gun nut. I'm not licensed yet, I'm still an apprentice, but I see plenty of trips to rescue planes and the like. It's not too bad as long as you can deal with everything being super meticulous. You literally have to pay attention to every single thing you do because once you have that license, you are liable to any sort of mechanical failure on that aircraft. Other than that, it's awesome. I was a automotive guy before I got into aviation, and I like it a hell of a lot more.

I was never much a mechanical guy, but i also wasnt brought up around cars and only ever had 1 friend who was really into them. i was more of an electronics guy before i started schooling. I went through an avionics program first and i enjoyed it. I really like what i do now. my crew just dis/reasembled a u-8, mic'ed it and we are going to run it up on monday. pretty excited tbh. Ive really fucked up though i think. ive missed a shit ton of school over my time here. life has kinda kicked me in the dick for the last year anytime things seem to get better

don't sweat it too much, honestly. As long as you can own up to your boss that you fucked up, the aircraft is still on the ground, and no one has gotten hurt, you should be okay. We always make it a point at my workplace that we never ever send anything out of the hangar that we wouldn't feel safe flying in. Stick to that and you should do alright.

The conditions on some of the trips are fucking terrible to be honest. We're mostly Medevac, so if we have to rescue an A/C, it's usually in a pretty remote place. I live North of the 53rd parallel, so in winter rescue missions can get really bad, but I haven't lost any limbs to frostbite yet lol
as for my favourites from that world, what do you mean? In the case of cars, I'm a classic muscle guy. Pretty much anything from the late 60's to early 70's is my jam.
If you mean stuff that I enjoyed about that industry, it would be that it's still very much a blue collar job where you can swear and smoke and go for a drink with your boss after work. Environment makes up 99% of job satisfaction for me.
