I've been okay.
Was on vacation the last week and a half but it was a harried series of visiting with various parts of the family so I was left feeling more unrested than prior to my vacation. Also had two wisdom teeth pulled but luckily that went extremely smoothly to the point I was eating solid food a few hours later.
Now I'm back at work but in my afternoon doldrums where I can no longer pretend to focus.

I took the vacation to visit my family so it's sort of a chicken and egg thing. I don't tend to take vacations to do me-stuff.
It's a mixed bag on getting teeth removed. Mine were healthy but had a cavity that was going to be a bitch to treat so we just took care of the issue, which is why it went so well. My sister had the whole "can't eat for a week" ordeal, though.
My travel laptop has some serious driver issues so it can't play games. It's just something to pass the time while browsing and is more fun than any other idle game I've tried.

I have trouble taking vacations for me because I'd mostly just sit around playing video games. There have been a few times I've tapped out and called out sick for a shift when I just wasn't going to be able to get shit done that day, but that's more of a mental health thing. I'm also terrified of needles which sucks balls because I have to give myself a shot once a month. But I close my eyes and do my best not to think about what their doing in my mouth. I also like my dentist a lot, which helps.

I played the first four generations when they came out, but got tired of the main series after that.

The main series games are so-so for me. I don't really like that style of party based RPG and they're generally pretty grindy. Moon was the first one I beat since Diamond despite trying each gen.
I do like a fair number of the side games, though. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is phenomenal and are some of the best games I've played. Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire is great. Pokken was alright but I don't play it much.
Overall I like the world of pokemon and the character designs more than any of the canon product.
