Drink gluten free vodka. It's about as healthy as you can go for poison alcohol

>>768206752
Also, fuck you
Bourbon, two oversized cubes of ice, depending on the brand add two splashes of bitters.
Four Roses Single Barrel is my house standard, but have about 15 different Bourbons, several whiskeys, and about 10 Scotches, depending on the mood.

no thanks, i dont need alcohol, im high on life
skaterboy69 out, yo
Depends what sort of drink we are on about? If its just an end of the week drink Ill have like a Cardhu. If I want something a little bit more special i like to drink Glenfiddich 18 or ive realy enjoyed Ardbeg An Oa single malt recently (Pic related). Taste like a nuke going off in your mouth the first time i drank it. Pretty sure it won whiskey of the year a while back and its not too pricey. Drink most whiskey in a glass that i leave in the freezer for half an hour or so, and a few drops of water. That way its cool but not watered down. Ive never really been one for Bourbon or Tennessee whiskey tbh. I started on scotch and everything else just taste sweet or weak (apart from irish but that doesnt taste great imo)
Go JW Black if you don't want to look like a douche or a poor.
>>768208576
An Oa literally came out last year and is not any better than the 10yr. Stop pretending you know what you're talking about you twat.

Fucking Europeans and their delicious beer...
3 of my top beers. The passion fruit flavor is love. Passion Blaster almost takes it too far. There was a Hawaiian beer with passion fruit that tasted absolutely amazing but it's Hawaii only.
Bierra... well... fucking Italians and their master brew work. Try it if you find it and like Lagers like I do.
Any beer recommendations? I'm not too big into spirits.

I'll have to try that one. Portwood is definitely my thing. Had a Kilkerran Portwood and also a Bourbon wood. Both surprisingly good and price was around 60-70$.
>>768214494
does the job for me
Thanks, I'll try 'em if I see 'em. Can't say I've seen Grolsch in stores in the states.

Don't bother. Grolsch is quite overrated.
>>768214954
Is it common to walk into neighborhoods where everyone is drunk af at 1PM or even in the morning on a weekday?
>>768214872
Disgusting? I find the cheap, mass produced crap made in America disgusting. Busch, Bud, Miller, etc. I'll try that Peroni though. lol
Guinness is great. The 200th aniversary brew was enjoyable. Most people don't like the dark, rich flavors like that - Abyss is very much a dark and rich beer. But a good one to sip on (helps to have a bottle capper).
>>768215033
I'll still have to try out of curiosity. Worst case senario? I have a flip-top bottle for brewing.
>>768215251
>Most people don't like the dark, rich flavors like that
Yeah that always bothered me. I worked at Irish bars in Germany and most people prefer the red stuff (Smithwick's, Kilkenny, Murphy's Red). I hate it tbh. Can't get better than a coal dark dark pint of Stout.
>>768215485
>I'll still have to try out of curiosity. Worst case senario? I have a flip-top bottle for brewing.
Tremens is quite good, as I remember it. Drank a few at the brewery. Might do that tomorrow, actually. Why not. I remember it sweet, strong with a bitter note but not certain right now.
>>768215528
Never got it either, Stout is fucking delicious
>>768215744
>Never got it either, Stout is fucking delicious
I believe it's just that most people look for a familiar taste. Red is a lot like Altbier, so they'll take that one. Also, many believe that Stout is incredibly strong beer that will give them the hangover of a lifetime.
>>768215528
The good news for us, dark beers like that tend to be rich in nutrients as well. So, y'know, if you want to claim you're healthy while drinking there's an excuse.
>>768215674
Tremens was good. I wasn't sure at first, thought it was fancy and expensive for no reason. But there's a good balance of flavors in there. Not bitter in my opinion - I'm not a fan of bitter, hoppy things like IPAs/Quad IPAs.
Beanerland fag here. How are Stout beers? I've only tried local beers (Viena, some Lager, others that I don't even know what type they are; they might as well as be piss water with alcohol) and I'm curious about other types like IPA and that sort of thing
1 vodka 1 irish cream 2 choco milk
>>768206546
Jack Daniel's Whisky
>>768216077
Stouts are kind of like a coffee and beer had a baby. Strong, rich and often mixed with milk, coffee or chocolate to accent the flavor.
Best you can do is find a good store with plenty of inventory and try a bunch of others. I like stores with the "pick 6" to sample. It took me a while to figure out that lagers were golden and IPAs were shit for my tastes.
Also, I meant to recommend this one, not Hofbrau. Hofbrau's still good, though.
>>768216004
>The good news for us, dark beers like that tend to be rich in nutrients as well. So, y'know, if you want to claim you're healthy while drinking there's an excuse.
Ever tried Belgian dark beers like Bernardus 12 or Brugse Zot? It's totally worth it. They also got some stouts like Hercule, with a note of licorice, even chocolate. Belgians are crazy with beers. They are just too delicious. I'm lucky to be there every week. Never miss a beer or two.
>>768216004
>Tremens was good. I wasn't sure at first, thought it was fancy and expensive for no reason. But there's a good balance of flavors in there. Not bitter in my opinion - I'm not a fan of bitter, hoppy things like IPAs/Quad IPAs.
Got tired of the IPA hype. Now, when I drink an IPA, it's like lemonade to me. Always the fruity taste in the foreground. Ananas, banana, mango-like. Dunno. It's fun now and then but there is definitely an excess of IPA on the market right now.
>>768206546
I like a good creamy goodness
>>768216734
That sounds awesome.
Belgian style beers are definitely something I need to try more of. I'll try the Bernadus 12 or Brugse Zot if I see them. Any time I try a Belgian Style anything I'm usually pleasantly surprised. Like Italians, Germans and surrounding countries really know how to make their brews.
>>768216699
>Also, I meant to recommend this one, not Hofbrau. Hofbrau's still good, though.
Hoegarden is an excellent summer beer. Shame it has been bought up by Anheuser-Bush who tried to relocate the brewery to Liège. At least they didn't ruin the taste like they did with so many other brands. It's a little bit like a Hefeweizen, but with accentuated spicy notes.
>>768215485
Good good good and good
>>768206752
Gluten free products are for those who can't digest it (like wheat for instance). For the rest of us it does not do any difference.... If you want something good try this.
>>768217064

If I had to pick one beer for life, it'd be Duvel. That's the beer I always like, no matter how hot the weather, how cold, or with a meal. Duvel is the perfect beer.
just cracked a bottle of this nectar of the gods
>>768217064
Fucking disgusting
Anyone drink this bottom shelf swill. It's what I'm sipping and goddamn is it terrible. Gets the job done though.

Bass is like that for me. It's just a well rounded beer. Perfect for everything.
>>768217285
I haven't tried too many Duvels. I'll pick up a few.
Like Wietibers, those are beers I don't know too much about. Lager, Stout, Ale, IPA - I get the process. The others I still need to dip into.
>>768217455
Haha, one of the few I've tried. Couldn't think of the good ones I had at the top of my head.

Good choice. Pity it has also been bought by Anheuser. I hate them. They don't care about the beer, just profit. And their logo is shit.

I can imagine that pretty well. They want to own the whole market. I'm pretty sure they're the ones who spread evil rumors about Moortgaart who is their main concurrence in Belgium (Duvel, La Chouffe...), saying they were nazi supporters, which is ridiculous.

Anheuser was bought out by InBev. The definitive weak-ass Yank beer is now owned by the Belgians.
That looks fantastic. Well advertised. Except the "love" and "cum" message that makes me not want to try it.
>>768218422

Very true.

What is it? I see the word "Oban", which is a Whisky but i'm... confused.

I wouldn't doubt it brother. It's USA big business. It doesn't matter what market it is. It's all corrupt man. It's a shame, a crying shame.

Ah, I meant sample like get to try it. Not like they're giving out free taste tests. But there are places that do that.

When you go to a Minimarket in Belgium, you will see that all the beer that are in the fridge are InBev. There's always 2-3 shelves of Jupiler, then 1-2 of Maes, Hoegaarden, Bass, Palm but nothing that's not InBev. They have the markets in their pocket. It's digusting. I always prefer to pick a half-cold beer. Don't care.
