I started out my homebrew psp journey learning how to tweak it to get the damn thing running. I played it for a bit, felt so proud of myself adn then Manda Island came up and it froze again. So I had even more to learn and I did.
Learning psp homebrew was fun, Although I cheated and paid a shifty mexican in a shit apartment off craigslist to hack mine. I didn't have a pandora battery. He did a great job though.

After a while you could just download software that did the pandoras battery thing both on and off.
Btw, does anyone know what the function of Pandoras battery was? Seems so weird that the battery has anything to do with anything besides providing power.

Pandoras battery flashed the psp into a recovery mode which allowed for custom home brew to be installed. It also repaired a botched job. It really was magic.

Patapon, and every other Final Fantasy was great except 8 froze on me too much.
All the MGs were great. Monster Hunter were okay.

ISO has faster load times, CSO has smaller file size. In some games the load time difference is negligible. For big 3D games it can make quite a difference. There's a tool that converts between the two.

4 1000 models, 1 2000, 1 3000, 2 psp go. 1000 whipes the fucking floor in quality, 2000 is easily the worst, go is fucking amazing, but expensive now. The only pro the 1000 has vs go is that 1000 can be moded to use a bigger battery.
