how can I get opium scrips the easiest way?
>>768154020
I don't write scripts, that would be a doctor or psychiatrist. Why do you want the opiates for?
>>768154144
checked
to get high as a kite, I would steal all kinds of opiates from elders before and I love them
I know you dont write them, I want to know if you know the easiest way without faking injuries or actually injuring myself
>>768154243
I can't give you an answer, but if you're in the USA I understand it's a lot easier. Opiates aren't something you can use recreationally for an extended period of time usually. Hence why you don't see 60 year old men still popping oxys (they've moved onto heroin and OD'd).
>>768154897
Also I've used oxys myself recreationally so I know what you're talking about.
>>768154020
>>768154243
If you do want to keep using them despite the risks try to not use two days in a row, and / or more than 2 times a week MAX.
>>768153703
Any advice for someone constantly under a ton of stress who's been drinking about half a litre a day for a couple years? I've recently managed to cut it in half, but my wife being a total bitch results in some major relapses. I'm not religious, and uninterested in AA. #doingitforthekids
>>768155851
You mean a 700ml bottle of straight spirits? Since you said a litre are you Australian? (I am)
Don't worry I dislike AA too. The only time I'd suggest someone to go there is if they had a strong religious upbringing and would be more likely to engage in a religious program rather than clinical.
When during the day do you usually drink and what does your wife say about it?
>>768153703
Whos worse to counsel the drugs users or the alcohols?
>>768156615
Neither's worse. Generally the people presenting with alcohol issues are more likely to be employed and have somewhat of a support network in their lives compared to say heroin or methamphetamine users, which can make my job a bit easier.
>>768156765
Sorry I should say just heroin users. A lot of amphetamine users have steady jobs and actually seem like normal super productive people to their co-workers.
Why does alcohol withdrawal make you nauseas? I know about inhibitory and excitatory neurotransmitters and the CNS but why nauseas? Also how can you die from alcohol withdrawal?
>>768157143
Meaning scientifically what causes the death ? Thank you very much
>>768156905
makes sense that amphetamine users are productive
>>768157143
Can't say I know for sure with that one, but I'm going to look it up now so I know for the future.
>>768155851
Give AA a shot, we had a guest speaker last night talked about what a shame it was people thinks a religious organization and don’t even give it a shot. For me it’s a group of people who understand what drinking away pain was. It’s a community where everyone hands out their phone number telling them to call you if you don’t want to drink and chat for a few minutes.
I tried not drinking in my for 4 years, having that community makes me feel not so alone. Show up once what do you got to lose

Slightly less than that, but close. She's mostly in her own self-centered world. Even completely wasted, I'm still taking on the role of the responsible one (I pay bills, save money, plan finances and everything else). I worked from home making an assload of cash as an IT professional until I got laid off (not fired - I could do it drunk and half asleep no problem), and I generally drink to cope with stress from a screaming baby (hits me harder than most), when she's being a bitch after her job in the evenings, and sometimes at night to help knock me out. She's a huge source of stress and wildly irresponsible, but I'm stuck with her for now.
After the baby is in bed, I will get drunk as hell a lot of nights, but I'm working on replacing that with guided mediation and a small dose of melatonin (ADHD + delayed sleep phase issues). It seems to be helping, but I still crave the alcohol a lot of the time.
>>768153703
I was addicted to Xanax and taking about 8mg a day .. along with beers. Finally kicked the habit and was drinking about 12 beers a day. Now I’ve kicked that for 3 weeks but am taking Modafinil. Do you know much about Modafinil? It’s been helping me a lot with my mood and getting things done. Also makes me subconsciously feel like I’m on drugs .. even though they are pretty chill compared to amphetamine.
>>768153703
what's your favorite drug?
>>768157214
how scientific of an answer are you looking for? basically what happens is the receptors in your CNS that are inhibited by alcohol are suddenly no longer inhibited and they become active again. your body is flooded with neurotransmitters that are otherwise blocked, this is because your body thinks you aren't producing enough because the alcohol is blocking the receptors. so when you no longer have that alcohol being an inhibitor, that high concentration of neurotransmitters rapidly binds to the receptors, causing seizures, heart palpitations, hallucinations, severe headaches, body shakes, increased body temperature, and so on.
>>768153703
Want to go out for some beers?
>>768153703
Is there any part of the country I can get heroin without having to deal with niggers?
>>768153703
Been taking about 20-30 mg. Of oxy/hydro a day for a couple of years. How hard is it going to be for me to kick and do you have any tips on cleaning up?
>>768157617
Hey, I appreciate the response! I have some additional issues with the AA approach and with myself as well, but maybe it's better than the end of a 2 meter drop with a brand new 'necklace'. I'll consider checking out a group or two before I get to that point. Thanks!
OP here. Gimme a bit to answer the influx of new posts
>>768158450
Check out “the easy way to quit drinking” by Allen Carr.
My dad was a heavy drinking, so was my brother - after reading that book they haven’t touched a drink since. I think my dad is about 10 years sober now.
What is the best way to get benzos or opioids from doctors?
>>768158201
That’s good enough, thanks man. I worked at a rehab center and I’m sober as well. I know about the seizures and other stuff just curious why, physiological, death is the next item in the check list.
Also what requirements do you need to get to become a counselor? I worked in the nursing station since I had EMT experience. It was fun seeing the different patients but wish I could be more involved with continuing care. I’m only 3 classes short for a psych major, but I start nursing school next year so might not have time to squeeze them in
>>768158673
for benzos, tell your doctor you're having really bad anxiety and panic attacks. you'll have a better chance if you tell a psychiatrist though.
>>768158450
I was in the same position, show up hungover go back a month later sober, getting a good sponsor helps.
>>768158853
Tried that and they offered only a short course of 2mg Diazepam and an SSRI along with a psychology referral.
>>768158963
Diazepam is a benzo
>>768159018
Yeah my point there is that 2mg is fuck all as a dose.
Does the notorious shit pay deter your motivation at all?
>>768157857
Damn, well I can see why you're drinking..
What do you do during the day whilst she's at work? Look after the baby presumably? How old is the baby?
>>768158569
Cool, I bookmarked it on Amazon. I don't know if I'd want to stop completely, but I'll check it out.
>>768158065
Was that you yesterday posting about modafinil or someone else? I know about it and use to take it myself, and know the effects you're describing. Congrats with getting off xanax and alcohol btw I also did the same before getting involved with this work!
>>768159089
(not OP btw) they always start you at a low dose. i went to a psychiatrist and they started me with 0.5 mg when needed. i told them it wore off too quick, so then she upped it to 0.5 mg twice a day. eventually that led to 45 1mg tablets a month, so basically 1.5 mg a day. i don't always take them, so it's easy to save them up. my psychiatrist is a young female though so she loves to push pills on people. just keep trying to get a higher dose saying it's not working or when you take twice the dosage it feels better, etc. or try another doctor if all else fails.
>>768158102
Favourite in terms of when I was into drugs? Probably oxys. Favourite in terms of safest and has the most benefit would be cannabis.
>>768159422
talking about xanax here btw, not valium.
>>768158281
Lol sure thing.
>>768158442
It won't be pretty. Speak to a doctor or drug clinician about getting on Replacement Therapy (methadone), and also speak to a counselor during it and try get involved with a group activity/program and it will all be a million times easier.
>>768159629
Whoa. That’s not an option. I have too much to lose. I was thinking of stepping down. I went three weeks without this past year and it wasn’t bad. Smoked weed. Have a scrip for Xanax too. You have me scared now.
>>768158065
What mg of modafanil are you taking? If I take 200mg (one pill) I’m too focused and feel funny, I get a lot of stuff done though. I personally take 100mg in days with school that I need that extra push but 50 mg every other day as a antidepressant. I always give a 2 day break each week. After trial and error this is my sweet spot
>>768153703
I binged drinking during the weekend. Least one bottle of vodka and pint of whiskey. Least a case of beer.
My gut burns and eating makes me feel nauseous.
>>768159771
Is this 30mg oxy or 30mg hydro? I was thinking you were on a higher dose than you actually are maybe. You can probably deal with it just with the weed and some exercise to be honest.
>>768158065
That’s why it’s so cool and useful, you can get the super focused tunnel vision but not body sensations like that of adderral since it’s not a amephatamine
>>768158450
I've heard first hand positive stories of AA from non-religious people so definitely give it a shot. Also check out SMART Recovery if they are near you.
>>768159975
One or the other depending on what I can get. I was going to step down 5 mg a day and replace with weed/dabs and if it gets bad take a Xanax. I don’t usually take those.
>>768158797
OP here. It's a Certificate IV + Diploma + Work Experience OR Bachelor Degree usually.
>>768160060
Agree, I’m not religious but I do use the moment of silence/prayer portion to focus on my family and wish them good thoughts
>>768159294
Yep, I'm watching the kid (young toddler) until we get daycare sorted out (she's dragging her feet, and I'm lagging behind too). I make damn sure I'm not endangering anyone when I have trouble holding off the liquor, and I never let the kid see. The plan is for me to refresh my skills and get some certifications to prep for the job hunt while we live off of her income and (mostly) my savings. If she stops creating new financial disasters (50/50 odds), we have about 8-12 months.
I have no viable support network as I have been socially isolated for nearly a decade. I've actually forgotten how to socialize mostly.
>>768159104
Nah I'm just happy being employable and working with a lot of females lol.
>>768160148
Thanks, keep up the good work
>mfw having a drug counselor that was a complete straight edge
I couldn't take that guy seriously in the slightest.
>Currently going on 26 months drug free
>>768159812
I take 200mg at 6am with coffee.
Have two days on .. two days off - we’ll i usually stick to that pattern.
I haven’t tried a smaller dose yet.. only done it 10 times. Just got another 20 yesterday though.

Sounds good to me. Maybe every month go one week without it too. It's still a new drug so not much known about longterm effects. Stay hydrated!
>>768154243
get on the horse fagg. man the cunt up and start charging that shit IV.
>>768155774 this fagg knows what fucken time it is
Before you ever take opiates any which fucking way: they change you. You will function differently. Your brain will convince you that you are not changed. But thats the gear crossing the blood brain barrier. You'll act differently. you'll reason differently. Do your research. Read 'Junkie' by Bill Burroughs. Uncle Bill will tell you how the shit sticks
>>768160631
>'Junkie' by Bill Burroughs.
OP here and wow you literally mentioned my favourite book.
>>768153703
Is it OK to self-medicate studies-related stress and anxiety with weed? Because otherwise one keeps gravitating towards lots of alcohol, which is "less than ideal" to say the least, and actually fucking bad.
I like beer.
>>768160128
The worst that will happen is you're going to be very uncomfortable. The weed will alleviate it a lot. I suggest speaking to a counselor if you can, or at least a GP you can trust too.
>>768160473
Yeah I drink a glass of water every hour on it.
I’ve been feeling sick the last couple of days and didn’t know if it was linked. I think I just have a bug.
>>768160194
Sounds like you have a decent plan set up already. I definitely suggest getting the child into daycare as soon as possible so you can get yourself outside and into the fresh air and be able to start thinking clearly again. What does your wife usually complain or be negative about?
>>768160948
I never took it for more than a couple weeks of a time and was sweet other than being super thirsty and peeing a lot, lol.
>>768160787
If the alternative is gravitating towards alcohol, definitely. Just don't get into the habit of using it daily.
>>768161213
Daily usage was and will never be an option, I can hold my shit together in that regard.
>>768161348
Sounds fair to me then. I personally see weed as (along with some psychedelics) somewhat beneficial to us if taken properly.
>>768161509
Presuming of course you aren't predisposed to psychosis or mental health issues.
>>768160758
sweet. So you'll get it when I refer to opiates being the ultimate commodity that encapsulates pure consumption.
>>768161553
Yeah man. Oxy was my drug of choice when I was a user.. and I'm grateful I didn't fall down that hill.
>>768161553
Recommend any other books btw?
>>768157617
>other than literally all the god talk
That aside, AA was one of the most enlightening experiences observing as a nurse. Went to Homewood in Guelph for the praxis and got a lot of first hand experience. Spent a good amount of time with ptsd & addictions,

Psychiatrists are doctors. That's like saying ask a doctor or a cardiologist.
>>768162308
Okay, I meant GP (General Practitioner). The two terms are usually interchangeable to regular people.
>>768161634
It's a waste of life in my humble opinion. I still extend understanding to anyone that wishes to venture down this path. But be warned that a life of opiate abuse could take generations to repair.
>>768153703
If I don't vape every half hour or so I will start screaming at black people. If i go more than an hour I start assaulting niggers. I have sex with my dad daily but my mother won't give it up. I huff jenk err day and jack off to gay porn but I'm straight. Diagnose me
>>768161544
See that's the thing, I know psychosis is a big no no with psychedelics and psychedelic-like substances like weed.
But what about anxiety and depression, most of what I read OKs it, but some suggest to refrain, what gives?
Any actual penis enlargement pills (permanent growth?)
>>768161065
Thanks, I just hope I can make the plan work.
It varies from a bit, but her pissy moods are often related to
* stress from her customer-oriented job
* Her long-standing self-esteem issues (depression, self-induced social isolation, Fagbook addiction (imo))
* My admittedly poor reactions, often very angry, to her irresponsible or disrespectful behavior
* Shit she made up and mentally convicted me of while she was crazy from pregnancy hormones
* my repeated demands that she stop making me miserable by trashing every single room in the house (I can't clean fast enough to keep up, and I no longer want to live like a teenager - I grew up in a hoarder house and want better for my kid).
*cutting me out of a lot of my kid's firsts and a lot of parenting decisions. Mostly better now.
*Her kowtowing to her parents and giving them somewhat inappropriate access and authority to the kid. Mostly better now.
Things started going bonkers when she got hormonal, crazy, lazy, and hostile when she was pregnant. I had no healthy coping methods remaining, and my (initially reasonable) drinking grew exponentially. I'm honestly considering separation, divorce or abandoning ship if I can manage to get a new job. I'd definitely support the family financially, but I feel like I need to escape. The happiest times in my life other than our first year, I lived alone.
>>768163189
>>768163189
>I'm honestly considering separation, divorce or abandoning ship if I can manage to get a new job.
How was she before she was pregnant? I suggest you get the kid in daycare, which will give you more time to find a job and work on your well-being. Once you've got a job (and if you're lucky to get one that's the opposite hours your wife works lol) you will be able to better gauge what to do. I sympathize with you, your situation sounds terrible. It's definitely repairable though man. Just remember to focus on on yourself and the kid and the future you can provide for the both of you.
>>768163008
It seems to really depend on the individual, hence the conflicting reports. personal anecdote - when I had depression it made it worse, but yet it helped the anxiety and let me think clearer. My sister got psychosis instead.
Certify my shitstained ass nigger
>>768164115
Thanks for the encouragement.
It's always been a mixed bag with her, and I think we're both growing away from each other increasingly rapidly. She lured me in with lots of sex (nothing intentional or malicious on her part - just our nativity), then cheated on me a few times in quick succession, and I was stupid enough to keep her back then. It's never been great, save for the first few months.
I made some poor decisions, and was far too passive. Much later we got married. Poor decision-making in action; I should've run (not a new thought either), but was distraught from a couple major concurrent family/life crises. Now it's all gone to hell. Probably a fairly common story arc with the usual variation of the particulars if I were to guess.
>>768165554
You married her after she cheated on you?
>>768153703
Financially speaking what's the best alcohol to get so you don't go broke but you still get drunk?
>>768166040
Cask wine
>>768165554
I gotta go now but good luck with the future dude. I heavily suggest you eventually find a counselor or someone you trust and talk about all this with them too. Wish I could do more to help you hey. If you can, it's always best to speak to your partner about how you're feeling in regards to her (don't hint at separation though). Protip if you go down the separation route, keep notes and records of anything negative to do with your partner or your partner's ability to look after your kid. Your partner will be told the same when she gets a lawyer after you separate her so get on early man.
>>768165829
Yeah, like I said, poor decision-making. >>768166554

Oxy's weren't available 40 years ago, dumbfuck. A sixty year old would have come from the junky eighties. Or, would be a new(ish) addict from more recent exposure, work injury or some shit. Or, is just a bar crawler that will try anything.

AA sucks balls. I went for a few years, and all it was to me was a group of people upping each others outrageous tales. I hated every minute of it. The Rooms. Friends of Bill. Pious assholes. Its not a fucking DaVinci Codex, its addiction. Stop holding hands and praying to the "Higher Power". You are your own higher power, and all the hand-holding does is make you feel weak and powerless alone. Its a bunch of bullshit. I'm glad it works for some people, but I think it repels an equal amount that would've tried harder without all the forced inclusiveness. There are many people who want it without that kind of judgment, you either accept people or you fucking don't. You don't give them a conformity guilt trip.

Wheres teh Valium? Wheres teh mothefuk Valium?
>>768167976
Yeah, wow, wikipedia. Let me inform you on a little thing called "doctors". It wasn't like it is now. They simply didn't hand it out as much, therefore not so much street availability. Thats not to say they didn't exist. But in the 80's, where your theoretical 60 y/o came from, it wasn't a common recreational street drug. People used heroin. My friend used to get Dilaudid from a cancer guy, there was some pharma around, but it wasn't the same scene. The other half used crack. You also had your "pill heads" which referred to Xanax and Valium. Perhaps T3's, those were a fucking event. But if you insist about the oxys being available in quantity, you can just argue it out with all the dead kids I graduated with who went straight to the spike.
