Lock N Chase was just Pacman but with police instead of ghosts. prove me wrong
>>768129707
Same with Alien for the Atari 2600
>>768129707
It was, I'm not going to argue that.
>I'd make a list of titles since I have a lot of obscure games but I'm a lazy schmuck
>Didn't realze Rogue Galaxy was getting a PS4 Remake(?) so maybe it's more known now
>>768130260
Just a port I believe.
>>768130352
Aaa alrighty. It's really only an okay game, so I was surprised
>it's a lot of "hallways"
>>768130914
Nice one m8, really enjoyed this game!

This was the shit
Anyone else ever play "The Legend Of Oasis" on Sega Saturn? I loved that game, hardly ever talked to anyone else who played it aside from my dad and I. Still one of my favorites.
Anyone else play this?
I can't be the only one who remembers this
>>768131171

Yeah I think I know the one your talking about
>>768131613
This game is on Steam, btw
>>768131467
I knew a few girls that were the same. I could understand really liking Xenosaga, but Rogue Galaxy is pretty shitty imo. It's not HORRIBLE, but it's not good. However, it's graphics were great for it's time
>>768131559
Agreed.
>Gonna dump a few titles down
>>768131746
Might have to finally make an account.
>>768131680
I think there's still a server up for it.
>>768131557
So this guy wasn't exaggerating??
>>768129886
this was gunna be mine asshole, i loved this game when I was in second grade
Who remembers my nigga tiny?
>tried to post "Obscure" but the image file size was too big and im too lazy to get another

>>768133687

>>768134371
I think so. Didn't play that one much.
>>768133592
I owned this for a while. I was super into breakout type games. This was a favorite of mine. Who knew blocks could have an interesting story.
>>768133653
Feel like everyone had this game because of rare but everyone quit right after the Anubis.
>>768134654
Oh shit I remember that game!
>>768134888
Ross?
>>768134897
Had this on PC.
>>768134371
I remember Bugdom... Only got to play it a few times but it was fun
>>768134536
It was on the old iMacs as well. That game was classic. That and the one where you race with the cavemen.
>>768135135
Apparently there was a sequel haha
>>768135350
Notice the Multiplayer feature!
>>768135135
Holy shit I forgot about that we had that in our 6th grade computer lab you could play it if you finished your typing
>>768132583
Had to look this up, holy shit anon this is beautiful. Flight sim w/ giant women in bikinis, what more could you want?
>>768135350
The demo for hours. Hanging upside-down and hoping my leg got cut off so I wouldn't be a damned pinata.
>>768135432
Dude same!
>>768135210
MSX fag?
>>768135432
I remember there were a bunch of cheat codes that everyone wanted to know.
Hugo's house of horror. Used to play this as a kid
>>768133543

>>768135511
Shit your not from PA are you?

Fuck it was cool when the blocks would slowly fall off until a game over if you fucked up bad
Excite Bike on NES

I cant be the only one, can I?
>playing this right now
>never got past disk 1 because for some reason we never had the rest when I was a kid
>I missed it
>all the characters are so great
>>768136287

>>768136476
Fucking loved this game. I had it on N64.
>>768133923
I think it was a giant eel
>>768136497
Just saying in case you didn't know:
Modern HM games aren't by the same creators anymore. Story of Seasons is their new title.
>if you didn't know, I'd suggest reading up on it
>it's kind of interesting
>just hoping people support the original guys more than the current cash grab title stealers
Anyone else got a phobia of open water because of older video games? I know even walking in rivers in skyrim freak me out. Even if I know there's nothing in there... Or maybe I'm just a pussy
>>768133018
No way? I'm totally down!
>>768129485
Anyone? Surprise me /b/
>>768136543
ITS NOT OVER YEET!
>>768136578
>Artificial Girl
And here I thought it was supposed to be obscure games.
Anyway here's Violated Heroine then. Apparently not enough people know of how amazing a game it is
yooooooo
>>768136789
Remember TRUBLEVR?
>>768136601
Yeah I tried story of seasons. Not the same fortunately I still have my HM64 cartridge
>>768136493
Wild ARMs 1 is still the second best RPG on PS1 for me, behind FFIX.
Also, this motherfucker.
>>768132734
Armored core still comes out till this day. I think people played it.
kinda like worms but 3d
>>768136413
Teepo dindu nuffin.
>>768134654
ah fuck i remember this one. got it at like walgreens or some shit
One of my retro favs.
>>768136975
Yeah, it takes some getting used to, but they aren't bad games at least. I miss the rival aspect though
>>768136987
Wild ARMs 1 was rad as hell. Sadly I only remember playing a small chunk of it at a friends place..
>>768137060
Star Ocean is such a bomb series. Wish it was as popular as the Tales of series
>>768137188
Teepo dindu nuffin
>>768136915
Thanks anon
Dreamcast was awesome.
>>768137340
My dude, I posted that in a "vague vidya description thread" a couple weeks ago and no one guessed it.
>>768137412
Good shit sir
>>768137396
DC1 was my first game for PS2, I remember I couldn't buy a memory card yet so while I was saving up for it, I left the fucker running two like two weeks straight. Never had problems with that console.
>>768137591
Ah, the good old days where hardware could stay on for weeks on end and just get a little warm... I think one winter I just let my PS2 run and cuddled with it. The poornerd's heater
>>768137490
Darkwatch fell instead non existence, but that shit is damn good fun.
Perfect game in my eyes. (apart from the babyish subplots sometimes)
>>768132201
remember it being hard as fuck and nearly screaming in joy when you beat mission 14 on your own with your own created teams because there was no real online place to talk about this game and not using a paper game guide? shitfuck. I still remember that special and unique feel when I zeroed in on an enemy mobile suit undetected and 1hit it.
>>768132867
Tak was surprisingly fun. Except I remember that I got stuck on a glitch on the stage after the Arena brawl area and was forced to restart. Not the best thing to be the first to come to mind about something.. still had some fun abilities and levels though.
>>768136089
I still play this fucking game....
Best part was when you picked up hitchhikers and had like a 50-50 chance that you were gonna get robbed and lose all your money...
MFW
We played games in elementary school where you could pick up hookers that would rob you
>>768137692
A lot of damn fun, ran through a couple different times doing different skill builds and shit.
>>768137687
My model was one of the batch that had problems with the electrical connections, but since I left that bastard on for about two weeks, maybe two and a half, it burned them into the boards and never game me any problems.
>Obscure game? Look no further.
>>768137762
DC2 improved a lot on DC1, but the weapon customization wasn't quite as intricate. Still, very solid.
Not super obscure but i loved this shit
Many Saturday mornings.
>>768136600
Yeah I rechecked some gameplay videos and it is. I thought it was an eel but i remembered it was huge, so shark made more sense.
>>768138053
It was certainly much easier to make an ultimate weapon. The best change was not allowing you to break a weapon in 3 hits and permanently break it. That made me go berserk as a teenager.
>>768130747
I had this, also the juggernaut one. I might still have them somewhere.
>>768138078
Possibly my 3rd favorite fighting game of all time. The Powerstone Collection is the only reason I still have my vita.
>>768138245
Koudelka suffered from huge loading times and ugly battles. I do applaud it for trying something new though. It could be genuinely creepy at times and challenging. I love how it was most beneficial to segregate your characters to wildly different roles.
>>768138265
Eh, I never had that problem. But I'm the kind of asshole who meticulously upgrades everything, but also I used character swaps to avoid dumb shit like hitting rock golems with swords (magic is much better).
>>768138400
Forced class diversity? Sounds like my kind of jam.
>>768138402
Ignatius or Nadia?
>>768138532
Everyone knows illusion of gaia, nigga. Who are you trying to fool?
>>768138532
I couldn't ever get past the vampires.
>>768130724
I played mutation. Was a kiddo, liked the little pig things you could have as pets or something.
>>768138809
Gruntys
I think I'm the only human being who played this shit.
>>768137813
There was a config file in there somewhere that you could change the names of the cargo. Going to Vancouver to pick up a load of “Dead Hookers”? Fun times.
>>768138334
Never could get passed the second boss.
Nitro! Nitro!
>>768138865
Aw yeah that's right. Easier times. Thanks for reminding me of them !
>>768138710
Never met anyone irl whos played it.
>>768138729
It was around there I got stuck as a kid too. Don't remember where but it was before you get Shadow for sure
>>768137117
>dat queen ass
>>768139742
It's an ass fit for a king, nigguh.
>>768133653
>Jet Force
>Spent hours and I mean HOURS playing this game
>realized if you aimed directly up with the female character you could see up her skirt
>would play before school
>Aim directly up
>pause game
>go to school
>unpause when I got home and spank it a few times
Pre internet faps were best faps because you had to improvise if you were underage B&
>>768131557
Everyone knows that game. They named a gun after it in Resident Evil 4. Every fucknut played that game. Both great games. I'm just grumpy today.
>>768138214
OOOOOO. Many friday nights spent after swim team and cotillion...
>>768140140
I never played it, then again, I wasn't some faggot with a Gamecube.
>>768139436
hell yeah
>>768130724
Still got one and two to this day, even bought a ps2 so I can play 3 and 4 if I find them somewhere. When i looked online though im pretty sure they were both over 100$, in fact 4 was over 200$, so im not gonna be getting those any time soon
>>768134370
In fact I do
>>768140645
>$200
Holy shit
I think I had two copies of all four... Looks like I'm gonna go and sell some of em
>>768140645
To be fair as well, they are very boring to play these days.
Oh but the .// G.U series is on steam now. 4 games in one. Highly improved in all areas. A real bargain too if you can get it for under £35 (whats that now, like $58 ? )
>>768131047
Tomba and Tomba 2 are goat.
>>768140907
goat?
>>768140925
Greatest of All Time, GOAT
I really wish the online fandom for this wasn't total garbage.
>>768141034
Ah, okay.
Totally agree, although I never got around to playing Tomba 2. Howzit? I heard it wasn't as good as 1
>>768141034
what this anon said.
I wish more people played Guardian's Crusade. I know a handful of people who have. To this day one of my favorite rpgs.
>>768132043
My nigga. I remember having a demo for that when I was like 6. I never played the full game. Was it good?
>>768141098
Not that anon, but the one who said it was goat. 2 is great. I personally liked it more than 1. It had so much more to do imo.
>>768141097
Seriously loved that game. Loved both of em. Wish the third came out in the states since all the translations are pretty bad.
>>768131171
Heard it just came in to Gamestop in limited supply.
Amazing game
>>768131171
>sunglasses
>no pants
No one is gonna get this 1
>>768141098
well, TOMBI 2 was excellent also. It has 3d sections in the towns and some minigames which was a tad off but you can roll with it. Otherwise it's the same old format. I personally liked it more as there was voice acting which wasn't terrible.
>>768131735
I played the shit out of this game...shovel it up, bitches...
videogames ugh
>>768136915
The music in the first stage I remember to this day.
>>768141231
Hmmm.... I've been having trouble setting up pcsx2, so I'll look around for a copy of the second game then. Thanks anon! I can never have enough Tomba in my life
>those Lava caves in 1 though?
>I can live without those
>>768141367
Definitely going to look around for it anon. Thanks!!
>>768141361
is that .hack? It seems familiar
>>768141361
You mean Mundus? DMC was the bees knees until 4 came out.
I wish they'd port this to ps4
>>768141474
I'd just run EPSXE for it tbh. Always worked better for me personally.
>the lava zone in 2
>you'll live without that as well
>>768131352
I used to plat this with online friends from gamefaqs. Was the shit.
>>768141361
From the thumbnail, for just a second, it kind of looked like goatse.
>>768137060
I trained for like 20 plus hours to beat Dias in the tournament in the first half og the game.
Fml when I did and found out the game carries on as if you lost anyway.
Also
>Ray!!!!!
>>768141534
Hey man, thanks. pcsx2 was a little much for me.
>I'm an idiot
>...
>"lava zone in 2"
>I'm going to gouge my eyes out
>>768130747
Was just playing it yesterda
>>768141384
I'd enjoy watching her get fed into a meat grinder
>>768141652
You're probably having issues with the fact that PSCX2 doesn't come with an emulated BIOS file.
>>768141652
pcsx2 is just too much trial and error unless people post working configs tbh. epsxe just seems to always work from the get go. Yeah enjoy 2. The lava zone still annoys me even as an adult. The one big downside is there's a LOT of backtracking in the second one for one specific side quest.
>>768141441
Yeeeeah! I used to go to the option menu to listen to the music too, can't find the genesis music anywhere, only the nes version
>>768141579
Really well put together game. As a young boy though I was really creeped out by the whole possessed humans idea. So creepy the way they implemented it. I didn't have the nerve to play further till i was at least 16. Then god, just a quality story, a unforgettable ost and a battle combo setup which i've seen imitated but never as well.
MML2 was better but the first one gives me the feels
>>768141639
I think in the PSP remake it is acknowledged, but at most we're talking a line or two different.
>>768141876
they both gave me feels. such good games. too bad the controls for the first one were atrocious.
>>768132126
That game spooped the shit out of me as a kid.
best ps1 soundtrack. hands down
>Beetle Adventure Racing
>Lost in Blue
>Asphalt Urban GT
