ITT: Games you think only you remember.
>>768120239
Riven was pretty popular
>>768120299

Sanvein for PSX
It plays like a generic pilot shooter locked into a 3D arena
You could bounce off walls
There were different ship types/powers
Not really much of a story or plot line, just pew pew pew
Pretty sure no one remembers
>>768120394

Cosmic Spacehead for the Genesis
It’s mixes elements of puzzle/platforming
Has multiplayer pvp mini games
One of the few games that had a codemasters branded cart
Spent alot of hours playing this on my grandparents computer. Took me a while to figure out the throttle and objective distance.

https://www.myabandonware.com/game/ega-trek-1km/play-1km
The music doesn't work the same when emulated. I wish I still had an old IBM to play games this old the right way. I used to play the shit out of EGA Trek though, it's a fun strategy/RP game when you know what you're doing.
Anyone?
>>768120867
Shit nigga I got the 2600 port.
Good game for the time.
>>768121129
>Shit nigga I got the 2600 port.
Didn't even know there was one. I'll look it up in my 2600 rom collection.
So much trial and error on this game.
>>768119702
>>768121238
It's not as good, but fun for a couple minutes with a friend.
This arrived yesterday...
>>768121327
This looks like REZ but I never got this far into it.
>>768121372
>It's not as good, but fun for a couple minutes with a friend.
My brother an I played the arcade machine for hours and hours.
Yeah, 2600 ports were never that good.
Came around the time pokemon became a thing. It had 3s battles years before pokemon.
>>768120838

I remember playing this with my sister a lot, though can't for the life of me remember the name and google feels like cheating
>>768121635
forgot image
>>768121643
My Dreamcast is a piece of trash that hardly ever works, do you think an emulator would take advantage of the rumble in a 360 controller? Half of what I loved about that game was the rhythmic mixture of music/lights/vibration.
>>768121683
>I remember playing this with my sister a lot, though can't for the life of me remember the name and google feels like cheating
First game I ever finished. Cost me a lot of time and quarters but I did it.
>>768120647

impossible to beat
>>768121905
Seriously, who doesn't remember Metroid Prime?
Haven't met anyone else who knows of this game yet.
>>768121689
Evolution was a forgettable little RPG even within the limited ecology of the Dreamcast because it fell under the shadow of both Skies of Arcadia and Grandia III on the system.
I liked them and solved both it and its sequel, but with limited time and money I don't blame other DC owners for choosing the two superior titles above.
>>768121905
Samus is a pretty cool guy eh kills aliens and doesn't afraid of anything.
>>768119702
I owned this 25 years ago.
>>768120239
I also have the big box.
>>768122128

everyone played the arcade version. it was everywhere.
>>768119702
This game. It's called HopTo for the C64. You play a conniving jew who explores caves for gold.
Fragile Allegiance. This game was awesome. You did research, built bases on asteroids, built ships, missiles, nukes and colonized/conquered other asteroids.
Hi officer
Bye officer
THIS GEM
Toppler/Perestroika
I don't just think
I remember the day my grandma bought me pic related on a retail store.
I need some help regarding this futuristic game that you'd "drive" a roller-coaster cart. It had some dystopia-like scenery and a female robot voice saying random crap. This is Nostalgia final frontier for me right there
>>768123006
Holy fuck, I played the hell out of this game as a kid, but could never remember what it was called. :D
Kirby if he was a robot
>>768122836

>>768123318
>My ex was amazing at mappy
Arcade, NES, Game Gear or GBA?
>>768123407

Also fags posting mainstream games gtfo!
And this
Blaze & Blade
This game was janky as all fuck but had 4-player multiplayer.
>>768122661
You’re an asocial nerd if you don’t know people who bring up altered beast
It’s like primal rage, video game discussions often come back to it
One of the earliest games I remember playing. No one I know has ever heard of it.
>>768123458
One of those plug n play things if memory serves.

>>768122661

>>768121852
Best game ever!
>>768122980
My friend had this game, but there was this one stupid stage we could not finish...
>>768124011

>>768123947
Cute. Now go google Yoda Stories.
A recommended play.
Also if it wasn't for us god teir gamers. A lot of these gems would never be played. They only become mainstream because we let you plebs in.

>>768119702
I wish they made more. Spent hours on this game. Started my liking toward rpg
>>768120394
Every kid in elementary school played this.
There's a game I remember that I don't even know the name of. Huge long shot but maybe someone here does.
I'm pretty sure it was on a demo CD from a PC magazine.
It was a sort of puzzle platformer, with humour. I think there was robots involved. The one thing I remember is that you'd find fat purple aliens on a sort of kebab spit, and if you didn't get to them on time they'd burst into flames and they'd say "Ohhh no I'm on fire" in a really lazy dumb voice.
Anyone? I definitely didn't imagine it lol, I've tried all sorts over the years to find it.
>>768125338
Got this for FBA on rpi3
this game was my childhood when it comes to computer games
>>768121127

>>768124330
Do you legit live in a cave?
>>768121127
Had this on 7800. It was one of the only playable games when the second button on my controller failed, by which time Atari had practically vanished and offered no support.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrmNgq9EUtY
There was a very very old 2d pc game about mining diamonds and selling them.
At the surface you can buy mining equipment and sell what you mine.
You use the money in order to marry a "princess" of sorts.
I remember you could "fuck" her and buy condoms at the store. The reason I remember it is because this was the first time I read the word "condom" and asked my mom about it. She didn't answer.
Could anyone recall what this game is called ? I couldn't find anything about it. I rember it was very brightly colored.
The whole game was very small. Certainly less than 5mb.
>>768122528
Fuck yeah, played SO much multiplayer, to this day i emulate it and display on a projector to play with friends
Someone else must have played this
>>768125873

Bullfrog used to be my favorite company back in the day, it had so many quality titles, i get chills just thinking about all the time i spent on Theme Park, and of course Dungeon Keeper and Theme Hospital too, the games had top game design and style, the people working there had real passion for games and you could feel it
Rented this shit from blockbuster as a kid, had tons of fun. The soundtrack was really unique and still sends me on a huge nostalgia trip.

I dont remember if I had the shareware or not. It was a pretty long, must have had like 50 or 100 dungeon floors.
I played a lot of shareware/trail games back then. Doom, Warcraft 1, age of empires, plus over a dozen games which names I cant remember.
There was one game I wish I could remember to this day. It was like a combo between Tetris and Brick Break, and it had this spiced up classical soundtrack to it.
>>768128042
Atari 2600 represent!
>>768119702
Ive never met anyone else that has played it
>>768128042
