>Purchase condemned land for 2 million dollars to make a golf course.
>Fail to do so.
>Donate asbestos contaminated shithole to state park system instead.
>Collect 100 million dollar write off after appraising property yourself.
>Land still condemned and the park is unusable
>Threaten to take park back if the state takes his name off of it.
What is your opinion of Donald J. Trump State Park?
anyone?
Bait thread. No one say anyrhing, fuck this cocksucker
>>768115342
mad?
>>768114866
What tax inspector approved that 100 million write off?
This person needs to be investigated HARD.
>>768115632
There's no such thing as a "tax inspector". You just file your taxes and the government audits you every once in a while. It's definitely fraud but its easy to get away with when you're rich.
Just dumping a few images of the president's park. That is named after him.
It has a pool AND a tennis court, that's pretty cool I guess.
>>768114866
Finds a way to snake a few tax dollars away from the state of NY
If you lived here, you'd see why that makes him a goddamn American hero.
>>768116513
Yeah I'm sure he spent his write-off on feeding the homeless and AIDS research.
>>768116676
He could have spent it on russian whores for all I care. It's less destructive than what they'd decide to do with it in Albany.
>>768114866
checked
>>Threaten to take park back if the state takes his name off of it.
can he even do that?
>>768116846
So, him taking money away from schools and roads for whores and fuck all makes him a hero? If he was going to do that couldn't he have at least bulldozed the condemned buildings before donating so that people could actually set foot on the park without getting cancer?

More pics. I'm trying to get all of vampire friends to take a trip out here for a LARP.

That sounds like a brilliant maneuver inside a more brilliant maneuver.
The guy can't lose for winning.
>>768117242
Near Mahopac NY.
>>768117120
>he thinks it would be spent on schools and roads
You don't get democracy son. You gotta spend about 95% of the loot on buying the next election. A little might spill over and get a road or a school improved, but mainly you're just padding the nest and subsidizing leftist activists.
Rare view of the interior of one of the buildings.
>>768117356
I mean I guess you can believe that if you want to. It isn't true though. You just pulled that number out of your asshole. You do know that we don't just spend money on schools, roads, and emergency services to improve them right? People are doing that stuff every day and they have to get paid.
Seems like there's a lot of trash just thrown about.
>>768117624
>what is hyperbole
In any broken system, there's always a few naive, good people trying to push the stone up the hill.
Nonetheless. The schools and transportation are shitty and broken. People in NYC pay out the nose for private school if there's any way to afford it.
So if you can sell the government a 100 million dollar pig in a poke and get away with it, you've earned my respect. That's a little less money they have to attack me and mine, and a little closer to the big default.
>>768118198
>The problem is that schools and transportation are shitty and broken.
>Good job taking money from those things we need to fix.
I don't understand your point dude. I live in NY too and the transportation isn't that bad, it's pretty good actually. It seems like you are just finding any reason you can to dick ride Donny.
>>768115637
kek
>>768117356
>mainly you're just padding the nest and subsidizing leftist activists.
This, Trump did the right thing, always keep your boot on the leftist neck.
>>768114866
it's bullshit, what kind of person would insist a park be named after himself?
usually parks are named after other people that are also dead.
Trump is the kind of person who would put his own face on money if he could.
who knows, maybe he will.
>>768118453
We have a fundamental disconnect.
You see the state gov (and it's penumbra of dependents) as a flawed but basically positive enterprise. It does all the important things, with only a few bad bits that can be fixed.
I see it as a fundamentally broken mess that actively seeks to harm the society that it "governs". It keeps up a facade of functionality because otherwise it would kill the host and die of starvation.
>>768115976
>Just dumping a few images
Get ready to get arrested faggot.
It literally says "No dumping allowed" right there.

I like schools and roads and emergency services. I also like that we don't have roaming gangs of children everywhere committing petty theft, like we did before there was public education. I guess that makes me a bad person.
>>768119291
>we don't have roaming gangs of children everywhere committing petty theft
You must live upstate

>good public works require Albany/NYC/Chicago levels of corruption
>spending ten dollars on public works also requires us to spend 20 dollars feeding, clothing, and housing an ever expanding horde of dependents--more of which must be imported from the third world if they're not breeding fast enough here
>>768119338
Lol you got me! You destroyed me man! Good one ;)
I guess public education and having a police force is bad after all, seeing as crime exists.
>>768119047
>privatise everything
>it will cut back on greed and waste guys, trust me
You sound like a massive retard.
Just a reminder that this park is what people itt are dick riding Donny over.
>>768119291
No we didn't. People were in fact educating themselves long before public schooling was done by the state compulsively. 97% of people in Massachusetts were literate for example. This all happening very quickly within only a generation or two after the printing press made reading a useful skill to the poor. The only reason public schooling exists in a compulsory way the way it does today is because there were so many immigrants and Americans wanted them to understand the culture of America.
>>768119904
I wonder if all the slaves were literate.
>>768119649
Its what Milton Friedman said. Was he retarded?
>>768119995
>slaves
You need a refresher course on history.
First off, I mentioned a northern state
This will be the first of the Colonies to be cleaned up in Handmaid's Tale
>>768119998
Literally every developed nation on earth disagrees with Friedman's interpretation of economics. That doesn't mean he's retarded, but he could just be wrong. Predicting economic trends is hard after all.
>>768119904
Literacy in that century was defined as being able to sign one's name. According to the University of Michigan, the real number by our modern standard would be closer to 60%, or 3 of 5.
>>768116676
Why would he? People with aids deserve to die.
>>768120161
So he was not in fact retarded. Thank you
>>768120251
Being wrong doesn't make you retarded. Just wrong.
Also, the wealthy love conducting social experiments with the lives of the less-well-off, especially as they don't bear the consequences if it doesn't go to plan
>>768119998
If he wanted to farm out all functions of the government to private enterprise then yes he sounds dangerously retarded.
>>768120251
I hope you feel better.
>>768114866
Once you get to a certain level of richness, you can literally contort business law, policians, zoning boards, appraisers, to do your bidding and it's easy to turn billions into an exponentially larger amount.
You also can't *lose* money and you can run businesses into the ground and fleece them to where *you* came out ahead but many other guys (employees, investors, etc) got left holding the bag.
Donald Trump is a pro at doing this. Well, not him specifically because the dude is a richey rich style buffoon that couldn't run a starbucks, but he must have some very smart advisors running the show.
All that being said, I don't begrudge him for that. You use what works in this life and if you can get by bending/twisting the rules, you do so...
>>768120399
But shouldn't we all be against such open graft and try to fix it? Rather than electing the guy who does the cheating as president? Or are we just too stupid?
>>768120576
He claimed that all his cheating meant that he knew the system well enough to fix it. Which he would never attempt to do. That could affect his bottom line.
>>768120233
>in that century
When did public school become compulsory? Either you don't know, or you've made a mistake
Protip, it was around the 20th century

>>768114866
He's a cunt. Like all presidents before him. You have to be a cunt, sadist & paedo to get into professional politics in the first place. /thread
>>768120576
There is no fixing it. This life isn't fair. Income inequality isn't fair. The fact that some guys have a multi-billion dollar head start isn't fair.
But that's just how it is. If you start crying how everything isn't fair, you'll never stop crying. You just make the most of the hand you've been dealt. Will it be far less than a guy who started with millions/billions? Hell yes.
But the real nuance of the problem is that often times the corrective measures taken to give people a "fairer" playing field often contorts the economy even worse (see every socialist nation on earth).
There's no fixing America at this point until it breaks entirely and is then rebuilt from the foundation up. (and it's coming, maybe not in our lifetimes but within a century for sure). And at that point, the best thing we can do is be a *truly free libertarian society*. Mankind will never have equality because nature is unequal and it's in our biological template. But with a anarcho-capitalist mindframe underscoring society there at least will be a direct correllation between what a man contributes to society and his compensation for such.
These guys like Donald come from the fact that there's a crony-capitalist relationship (not capitalist at all) between business magnates and the government. If they were stripped of this, it would better enable competition and financial trickerty where they run a company into the ground and the taxpayer bails them out (Bernie had a point about how 40X the money goes to corporate welfare that goes to individual welfare, and this *does not* trickle down, typically what happens is they just distribute huge bonuses amoung the executives and fire employees or disband the company entirely).
Corporate welfare is the main reason this shit happens. It's far healthier to the economy to just let a failing business die rather than prop it up with taxpayer subsidies.
>>768121153
But at least their park's didn't suck. I mean it would have been pretty easy for him to make it not suck and be a gaping eysesore. It seems like he's bad at even the basic public service stuff.
>>768121242
Theres a study that shows starting with money doesn't mean shit. In fact, people that win the lottery often end up in worse debt than they had before
So a broken down dump of a park that was used to exploit taxpayer money? I don't see what the issue is. It seems like the perfect namesake for Trump and his legacy.
>>768121242
You are a fucking moron.
Anarcho-capitalism is a contradiction in terms. I can guarantee that you couldn't define either.
Nor could you define socialism.
Do you understand that property rights only exist at all because they're enforced by the state? That the state *must* exist and *must* maintain a monopoly of violence in order to protect it? Otherwise it is literally mad max.
>>768114866
>>Threaten to take park back if the state takes his name off of it.
I doubt that he can. Once given, etc. If he does take it back, do people still use the term 'indian giver'?
He can be Chief Little Hands
paedophile "libertarian" detected
>>768114866
Fake News
>Trump donated the land after he was unable to gain town approvals to develop a private golf course on the property.
>>768121486
It's because people who win the lottery start doing stupid shit like buying everyone they know houses.... and then when word spreads around that there's bottomless wallet bailing everyone out, guess what they do?
Also, they receive a lot of artificial love and affection. Which in my mind, is better than none. But they know it's because of their pocket book and it always hurts them that no one loves them for themselves.
Also they gotta be on the lookout for gold-digging whores that will bombard them nonstop....
but give me those problems over struggling to pay the rent and deciding how best to buy a hundred dollars in groceries that will last for a long period of time. Give me those problems over a sick dog and a tumorous prostate that there's simply no money to fix.
"The wise fox calls sour not just the fruits he's unable to reach, but those that he himself has reached and deprived others of." - Nietzsche
Also, once you've got something really nice for yourself that your peers are unable to attain, it makes you far more bearable to be around if you simply tell them how terrible it is.... if you say "having a billion dollars is AWESOME!!" everyone will detest you.
I'm willing to bet it's an incredible experience, but if they told others that, they'd be hated.
