My friend let his 4 year old daughter play this while he was visiting town. She would instantly pull out the parasol, float for half the game, then run around hitting stuff with the pickaxe until she had to move to stay just inside the storm.
She was almost always in top 25, a few times top 10, and once made it to #2. A fucking four year old that had only been playing for a few days.
She seemed to enjoy it, though. So maybe I'm missing what makes it fun.
