Theyre normal people just like me. You cant spot them.

what about "reek"?
>>
>>767835493
It's a lot harder since bluetooth
>>
I am one. I mutter sometimes under my breath
>>
I've met quite a few during me time in psych hospitals, most of those cases were induced by drug use. One became a close pal of mine. I could explain what he told me if you folks are interested. It's pretty intricate so it'd eat up some time.

i'd be innersted anon

Let’s hear it bud

>I've met quite a few during me time in psych hospitals
Same here. I'd also like to point out that media portrays mental illness in an unfair and cruel manner. Most schizos aren't inherently violent people.
>>
>>767835493
one of my co-worker was a schizo. pretty scary, says he heard voices, believes in conspiracy of my boss, people voodoo-ing him. thank god he's left the company.

Okay here goes, I'll start off with some simple stuff.

>Was an artist since childhood. If you can think it, he did it. Drawing, painting, sculpting, digital, song writing, music production, not to mention a pretty solid background in martial arts.
>He moved to Hollywood and became a small time producer, he's met a handful of semi-famous people
>Then came the drugs. He's messed around with psychedelics and whatnot, but what really messed him up was long term meth abuse.

Part 2 will explain what I know about the voices, part 3 will be his behaviors

I was walking to the shop one day, and this random guy kept trying to overtake me by walking really fast. Every time he did, I've overtake him to piss him off.. then we both went into the same shop. He flew into a rage and accused me of stealing his clothes. I told him to stfu and turn around, and he said he'd wait for me outside to kick me in. He didn't.

That's my experience of a schizophrenic probably off his meds.
>>

ok but tell me please once for good - I have some mental illness and sometimes when I wonder if people are talking or thinking about me (while they talk) I smell a fart. Is it a sign of something? That word plays a significant role in my "paranoid dictionary". Basically whenever someone says something about the smell or farts it triggers a paranoia for me and I start wondering if they are suggesting something.
>>
Three things to watch or read if you want more of a perspective on schizophrenia.
Clean, Shaven a movie about a man struggling to cope and reunite with his daughter after being committed for years because of schizophrenia.
Pilo Family Circus written by a guy who was off his meds at the time. His writing on meds is terrible, but I hope he's happier.
Louis Wain late onset schizophrenic who obsessively painted cats for years.

>stealing his clothes
lmao

how do you know he was schizophrenic and not something else?

He has a hand full of voices in his head; most of which he said nothing about, but one remains dominant.
>This voice claims to be an angel with knowledge far beyond that of a regular human
>He explained to me an instance where this voice asked him to look up some sacred geometry. Something specific, I can't remember, but it was something that this individual had no prior knowledge of. Lo and behold, these forms of sacred geometry existed, and that was to be proof of this "angel"'s knowledge
>This voice is trying to make a case of how humanity is a disgrace and needs to he destroyed, and uses this individuals actions as examples. Basically, he denounces this individual to all the other voices in his head.
>This individual also tells me that this voice manipulates him, in order to manipulate others around him.
>>
>>767837456
I don't know what else would cause that kind of behavior. He was paranoid, delusional, aggressive.. it was pretty textbook.

>This person would often get angry at how this voice would talk him down, and you can see him muttering to himself when they argue. It's hard to tell if he's acting out the voice, or speaking his own case.
>Most of the time, he's coherent, intelligent, and a very pleasant person to talk to. He explains that in his youth he was a cocky guy, but now with this illness having broke him down, he's become more passive; albeit much more considerate of others. Sympathetic
>So you can basically just be sitting there talking to him, having a good ol time, then his eyes will glaze over. Without much a warning, he'll get wrapped up into the argument with the voice in his head. When this happens he won't talk to anybody, and will often try to isolate himself.
>It makes him self conscious that he has to do this, but with the rest of us being in the psych hospital, we accepted him for who he was.
End.
Any questions?
>>
>>767837744
being paranoid and delusional is just a part of being schizophrenic.
>>
>>767838012
you know, brain fart. Going so far with your delusions that you reach an end that is flavored with a smell of a fart. It's hard to explain it.
>>
>>767836403
What does reek mean? You smell them?
>>
My school had one way back when. He would always make weird mumbling noises and fast walk around the cafeteria like a sperg.
>>
>>767838104
hmm, interesting. Did you try talking to that voice? You know, through him.
>>
>>767838276
That's quite an interesting idea, although I'd imagine he'd see that as a violation of boundaries.

My past experience tells me that this is a case of spiritual possession, and to try to talk to or instigate this voice would probably be more dangerous than it's worth.
>>
>>767838260
I don't know. Sometimes I smell something but I'm not sure where does it come from. It kind of became an obsession. It began when I was high on ecstasy and for some reason I thought "hey, let's think about the night I found out my dad got killed" and suddenly I felt the same wave of depression I felt that time but then I thought "just no" and I kind of blocked it and I felt that warm, soothing melting in my brain from E again but I also smelt a really bad fart at the same time and I don't know whether I farted or that memory made me smell a fart. Hmm I just realized it's hard to feel your body on E so maybe I just didn't feel my anus let it out lol. So fucking stupid. I don't know how to stop that paranoia now.
>>
>>767838535
just talk to it like to a vulnerable child lol.
>>
>>767838535
Did you ever get behind him, mutter something ridiculous, then walk away real fast?
>>
>>767835493
My mother. Constant mood swings, dresses weird but not provocative, can not understand that anything has consequences. Diagnosed.

Shitty life, abusive af, will bully anyone smaller than her.
