Yeah a (young) co worker was telling me how he and his bro are getting back into it with new characters. Honestly I want to play again too but I don't see the appeal of it anymore..not since wotlk. Everything changed so much it's like a completely different game. Just sit in your little hub town. Queue for pug dung's. Run ONLY the newest instances...maybe I would pvp again but I just don't wanna build up a decent rogue again.nor do I want to buy the shitty expansions. I'll just let my account rip in peace.

I can't tell if minecraft is for kids or adults to be honest. On one hand, it's a very kiddie, candy-coated, and very simple game in the way that children's TV shows are. On the other hand, it can be a hobby for building what are essentially art pieces, with some of them being rather impressive. I dunno I honestly can't tell. Alls I know is it's not Street Fighter so I don't play it.

I dunno how to explain. One of my favorite things to hate in this genre is in EVERY game, when the big monster comes out, he's GOTTA make a badass pose and then growl really loudly before the hero goes in and does hero business. There's about a million other things exactly like that that happen in fantasy media that I don't know how they get away with it. But just take that and magnify it, and that's basically what the entire genre of high fantasy is at this point. It's just a ghoul creature growling and then the audience thinks it's badass, while also being able to say it's smart because there's faux Shakespearean dialogue and it's based on age-old story telling. 9 hour high fantasy film yeah I would want to die about halfway through. If I could just watch a supercut of Ian McKellen playing Gandalf, though, that would be enjoyable. Same with Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight. That movie is no good when he's not on the screen and I'm tired of people saying that's a good movie. It's an average movie with a genius performance.
