>I love god
>I love capitalism
Pick one, you hypocrites. I am no christian but I find it funny how the u.s. is called a "nation under god" yet the economic system is literally a symbol of greed.
And to clarify, I fucked up a bit. Capitalism in itself can work as shown by Denmark but it doesn't work the way the u.s. does it. Just look at the shit tier median wage across the country along with the high cost of living
>taking this shitty bait
Capitalism isn't synonymous with greed you fucking retard. It's the best way of distributed resources efficiently that human's have come up with. That's all any economic system is. Capitalism just does it best.
Saged this shitty thread, please consider suicide.
I did you dumbass. I said I clarified and showed that denmark makes it work meaning me calling capatilism greed was a fuck up. Idiot.
As for the "right", it's called sharing. Something this "Christian god" loves and hates the idea of hoarding wealth.
Want me to get bible quotes?
you must be baiting at this point, i seriously hope you aren't this retarded. I'll spell it out as simply as i can.
Capitalism is not the same as greed.
Having things taken from you by force is not the same as sharing of your own free will.
>Capitalism is not the same as greed.
YOU DOWN SYNDROME FUCK.
I SAID AS MUCH, YOU IDIOT. That is why I EVEN SAID I fucked up by calling capitalism itself as greedy. Learn to read. This is literally the 3rd time I've said it.
>Having things taken from you by force is not the same as sharing of your own free will.
Stupid doesn't know that the 99th percentile has seen the largest growth in income. Topkek. Read stats.
And it's not stealing. It's called distributing money in a certain way that benefits the majority. Durr
if you, me, and bill gates are in a room and the 2 of us vote to take his money, its still theft dumbass. also the U.S. and Denmark are extremely different in multiple aspects, its not as simple as herp derp this country makes its work cause it goes with my socialist agenda
Capitalism. I don't love it, I just like it better than the alternative where people live under authoritarian rule, or at least one where the defacto answer is to disallow instead of allow. When everyone has to be cared for it creates an incentive for the managers of that care to reduce the population and generally reduce that population's use of resources. Human corruption is inescapable and if you don't incentivise liberty through capitalism there won't really be liberty. If your freedom doesn't make someone else more powerful or richer then you won't be free. This will literally never change.
>That is why I EVEN SAID I fucked up by calling capitalism itself as greedy. Learn to read
You literally never said this.
So why are you arguing it's greedy if you think it's not greedy??
>Stupid doesn't know that the 99th percentile has seen the largest growth in income
What's wrong with this?
>And it's not stealing. It's called distributing money in a certain way that benefits the majority
If a gang of niggers beats the shit out of you after work, takes all your money from your wallet and distributes it between themselves, is it morally okay? I mean, it did benefit the majority right? If you're not baiting, you'll agree this is wrong. So what if i call this gang of niggers "The Government"? Is it okay for them to do the same thing now?
You actually think the u.s. has a functional economy?
Also, apparently by your logic, any kind of tax = theft
Also, pic related. People have been working harder for the same real wages. Automation is also going to fuck the majority over soon.
Less call center jobs, less book keepers, etc. If it can be auromated, you better bet your ass the 99th percentiles will do everything in it's power to do so so they pay for less employees.
no shit, taxation is theft. its allowed when it benefits you. for example taxing the citizens to fund a military provides protection, funding schools provides an education for our kids, giving you free welfare and healthcare so your fatass can keep playing video games all day doesnt help any of us
Also, The income of the middle class and lower class are going down while those of the 99.999th percentile are going up. It's inversely proportional.
THE MIDDLE CLASS IS DISAPEARING (AND SO ARE UNIONS btw)
also use common sense, the U.S. moved out of a manufacturing economy and into a service economy. of course no1 making shit products other country produces cheaper is going to make good money in the U.S. learn about supply and demand
You are actually calling taxes theft.... kys
So fuck buildings and bridges, right?
Fuck educating the masses to obtain marketable skills to be functional in the job market, right?
im not talking about only the elites dumbass. the us is great because we have equality of opportunity. equality of outcome is stupid and greedy. if im making a decent living as a salesman and bill gates makes a million times more than me does it really matter? we are both living good
The ultra wealthy only hurt the economy. There's no way someone can earn millions, it would mean they worked as hard as hundreds of people.
>give me free money because I'm so useless I don't make enough money to survive
You act like if some commie faggot 'redistributed our wealth' (colorful way to say steal btw), they wouldn't take way more for themselves while telling you that everything is fair.
Capitalism breeds competition. Competition is key in survival. If you want to bitch and moan, go move to Venezuela. I've heard good things about their communism.
I work as an electrician making 30 right now. I think that's good enough but my point is how the majority are pretty fucked and I believe in a system that tries to help the majority succeed and as shown by the median wage, it isn't the case.
Where do you get off telling someone they don't deserve to make what they earned?
You earn what you deserve. If you start and run a huge company, you deserve every penny you make. If you wash dishes for a living, you earn every penny you make. Quit trying to pin your lack of skills and intelligence on other people.
Bill Gates is rich as fuck cause he made the computer that you use mostly for porn. Your fucking welcome dude. He didnt steal your money, it was a mutually benefitial transaction. you didnt have to buy any microsoft products
1. I did say that various times. I fucking said I messed up 4 times. This is now the fifth time. I said over and iver again that I messed up in the original post.
2. Inversely proportional. If someone has a dollar and I keep 90 cents, the most you can have is 10 cents. If someone gains, another loses. That's all fine and dandy I don't care much except for the fact that it screws over the masses financially.
3. That's some stupid as fuck logic. Someone literally stealing isn't the same as taxes being distributed in a way to help others stay afloat.
I actually believe in trying to help a community
2. Its not a zero sum game dumbass.
3. you taking my money to buy a homeless man ice cream and you taking my money so you can buy a dildo dont help me either way. why do you have any right to MY money? also you do realize what charity is right? by having the government always provide huge amounts of welfare what incentivises people to provide to charity?
Aaaaand back to my main point.
Your mentality isn't christian like and one of the points to my post was how this nation is called a "godly" nation yet this mentality:
>why do you have any right to MY money
Is all over the place. One of my points is that it's stupid to call this a christian nation.
Religion should be out of political affairs.
Unless it starts to affect them in a way for
example "ban of said religion". Than they
can fight for their freedom or whatever.
However I find it stupid how people
mix the two together.
>minimum wage is $20 an hour there! xD feel the burn
Say bye to 45% of your wages. Little faggots like you think it's just so much better elsewhere because of some shitty post you saw on Facebook.
Plus, do you really think they just accept faggots into their country? If you don't have the ability to live on yourself here, good luck trying to convince another country to make you a citizen.
Oh except Venezuela. They'll probably take you.
1. you said you messed up, never anything specific. With the amount of retardation you were spewing, it could have been referring to anything.
2. This is blatantly wrong. Capitalism is not a 0 sum game. Would reccomend reading or listening to the audiobook of "Basic Economics" by Thomas Sowell
3. How is it different? The gang of niggers might not have had any money, and by curb stomping someone coming home from work they were able to stay afloat? Stealing is stealing, even if you claim to use what you stole for some noble purpose. It is not morally okay to take something that is not yours, even if you believe you're helping others.
4. Christians believe in helping the community, and you can see that as religious people tend to give most to charity.
Do you think their is a difference between giving something of your own volition (charity), and having something taken by force (stealing)?
is it a christian nation? thought our founding fathers put the whole "freedom of religion" part in there for a reason? also religion can be good dude, it provides good morals. Is this an anti capitalism or an anti religion post? cause you seem more upset about the religion part
You know denmark is statistically one of the happiest countries in the world, right?
Money =/= happiness
Little inequality = happiness
So... that 60k a yr... I wouldn't mind making less
You never told me about Meroubras Shankelstein, so that's it, you've got about 5 minutes before I shove your head in the fucking toilet
Like I said, just because you saw some shitty post about how glorious Denmark is, doesn't make it true. I'm happy right here and I sincerely do not give a fuck if you are happy or not. That's your issue. If you are not capable of taking care of yourself, then you can fuck yourself. I am not responsible for your happiness. No one is. Just you.
1. No, I specifically said I messed up about calling capitalism in itself greedy you illiterate fuck.
2. No, how about you actually explain how it's not. I'll listen.
3. Different because I would actually try to aid others out of my own cash where as stealing = not my consent
4. This nation has close to a 20% poverty level and low median wages. This nation is all about maximizing profits for businesses. Having a lot of money for the mere sake of it = greedy and it is indeed "sinful" to be this way.
If this system wants to keep being this way, okay. Just don't call it a christian nation where only the best survive and the mediocre die/fail due to natural selection.
That cut throat environment where only the "best genetics prosper" DOES make sense since obviously you want the very best employee but it doesn't make sense to emphasize this sink or swim mentality if you believe in the teachings in the bible.
^Super dumbass or dumber troll
>And greed is a sin btw
If there is no God, there is no sin. Just opinions and taboos. Prove me wrong.
No actual smart person has thought socialism/Marxism/communism is a good idea since the 1960's. None. Wonder why? If you think so, you are a dumbass.
Please remove yourself to Venezuela or North Korea. Report back to how that is working out for you.
many religions have a god, like i said, freedom of religion. also the "under god" part of the pledge of alliegence was added during the cold war as some anti commie propaganda
Go to a nice neighborhood, ask a bunch of people if they're happy. They'll say yes -> wow happiest state in the country.
Go to a shit hole and ask people if they're happy. They'll say no -> wow saddest state in the country.
That statistic is inherently flawed. Just because some shit heads are sad in my country does not make me sad. Just because some shit heads are happy in Denmark does not make everyone happy.
I feel sorry for you if you think the government stealing everyone's money in Denmark somehow makes them a happier place.
1. Greed = sin according to the bible and this nation is considered a "nation under god". It's even in the american anthem. Doesn't make sense.
2. Denmark makes it work. I'm pretty sure there can be a slow transition if the higher ups actually wanted to do so.
This is not a prosperous nation. Student debt over a trillion, high underemployement, low median wages.... ya no. It's not a functional economy.
student debt is over a trillion because of social push for everyone to get a college degree and then the government made it easier to get college loans. So when you get a degree in Lesbian Dance Theory and cant get a job you end up with a shit ton in debt and a garbage dead end degree
1. not even gonna bother arguing this one anymore, you're obviously illiterate
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQiBD-crrvA watch this and start the same thread tomorrow. I'm sure you have the time to finish it in one day tbh.
3. You have literally described giving to charity here.
4. Why does it have a 20% poverty level? Couldn't be all the other problems in society could it?? No, must be the evil capitalists keeping us down! Surely you know that the top 1% and the bottom 20% are constantly changing, right? Economic movement in America is extremely common, it happens constantly.
>This nation is all about maximizing profits for businesses
No, that's what capitalism is about. Not america. The constitution describes what america is about. Capitalism is how we allocate resources efficiently.
>Having a lot of money for the mere sake of it = greedy and it is indeed "sinful" to be this way.
You are finally correct, but is this all Americans? It can't be, because as you've said, there are some American's in poverty. Is it written in the constitution that you should be this way?? No, it isn't. Probably because we're one nation under god.
>If this system wants to keep being this way, okay. Just don't call it a christian nation where only the best survive and the mediocre die/fail due to natural selection.
It can be both. Christianity never says you must be forced to help, but that you should choose to help. Furthermore, not everyone in America is a christian, so forcing them to be (by redistributing wealth as you'd like) would be a violation of religious freedom (as you're essentially forcing them to be your concept of a "Christian")
To summarize, you don't understand Christianity, Economics, or America. Please stop being retarded and watch the video i've kindly linked for you.
If you ever graduate high school and take an Econ class you'll learn that internal debt isn't a big deal on the grand scheme. All that's saying is people do shit they can't afford or refuse to pay for because they're entitled.
Is it booming for the MAJORITY?????
Probably just for the 99th percentile but if you want to show me that the actual MASSES are benefiting, go ahead.
That must be why unions are disappearing and the middle class has been shrinking, right?
Shouldn't be called a christian nation is my point.
Why don't you fuckwit commies have any sense of self responsibility? Why do you think you're a part of some giant group of people versus 'the man'?
I'm doing very fucking well. That's enough proof. Like I said, I'm not responsible for you.
You are the one that doesn't even get the bible. You seem to sugar coat what greed means A LOT. I'll watch the vid tomorrow. I'll see if it actually changes my mind about anything. Thirdly, I am SAYING this shouldn't be called a christian nation in the first place. Lastly, again, are you actually telling me this society currently has a functional market for the masses?
Is this why the middle class and unions are slowly disappearing?
What exactly is so good about the u.s. economy for the masses at this moment? Median wages? Can't be that. Automation? Can't be that. Enlighten me.
^ Still dumb
Yes, greed is sin. It does not logically follow that the free exchange of good and services is greed. I want TV, Sony has TV, I give Sony money for TV. Sony makes more TVs with the money. I watch TV. Fair exchange. Not greed.
Greed is: Greed, or avarice, is an inordinate or insatiable longing for unneeded excess, especially for excess wealth, status, power, or food. As a secular psychological concept, greed is an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs.
What percent of worling age americans actually have it good?
This is an argument of percents. Median wage shows over 50% have it bad but then again it becomes a bit arbitrary and depends on where you live. I can tell you 19.67 an hr for a median wage in cali is shit though
>economic system is literally a symbol of greed
you're pretty retarded anon.
like you said with >>767810164
because they're 40% shitskin.
not even christian but if less people are suffering under capitalism than any other economic system in the world, can you really say its sinful to be part of it?
To make an egg, you gotta crack a few omelettes, know what i'm sayin'?
America doesn't really have equality of opportunity, as people who have more money have access to more opportunities.
That isn't to say that there needs to be redistribution of wealth just that America's system is fucked and largely only benefits those who are already wealthy.
Here you go dear slaves, watch and know your place, slave.
except legally companies cant descriminate based on race, gender, exc. The top 1% changes dude, its not static. People move up and down the economic scale based on individual choices
When have i sugar coated what greed means? Why should it not be called a christian nation? Because your incorrect idea of capitalism does not mesh well with your incorrect idea of Christianity?
Yes, america has a functional market for the masses? Can you go to the store and buy shit? Yes. Is there lots of variety? Yes. And even if this wasn't the case, it has nothing to do with your original argument that capitalism somehow makes america not christian.
You should seriously watch the video my dude.
As for the middle class disappearing, most are moving to upper class. Unions disappearing is a good thing, see the video.
Doesn't mean the economy is bad for the masses if you're lazy. It means you are bad for the masses, as they have to support you. As for automation, this has always happened throughout history. Again, this is addressed in the video. I believe the example used is Horses. After cars were invented, what happened to all the people who bred and raised horses? Did they just fucking neck themselves, or did they move on to other things? Automation generally leads to a higher standard of living, and creates different jobs then what people had before. When horses where a thing, do you think there were any car mechanics? Of course not, but those jobs were created when the jobs for horse breeders disappeared.
For the love of god, watch that video. Doesn't have to be in one sitting, just have it in the background as you play vidya or something. But make sure you listen to it, and understand it.
Not a Christian, but capitalism is literally the reason we have decent quality of life and have easy access to so many nice things. I could never build a computer from scratch, but I can work doing something I can do, and buy one from a company that CAN make computers. The company deserves every cent I give them. Hating capitalism is like an edgy teenager hating their parents who do everything for them. It's retarded and juvenile. Capitalism is the only reason you're even capable of complaining able capitalism online, instead of trying not to starve on a daily basis.
Yep. Also, to make it even more unequal, about 80% of jobs are obtained through networking according to linkedln
Also, poor people tend to stay poor and rich tend to stay rich in the u.s. too lazy to source the stat but I know what I've read.
I'm not asking for a perfect system, simply saying the u.s. does leave much to be desired
Also, networking basically = nepotism which basically = luck and to network, sometimes you have to do that by going to school and trying to get internships but the thing is school is not very affordable for many hence why the poor tend to stay poor.
anyone can network, its called being social dude. if you follow these 3 steps you have a 98% chance of not being in poverty; finish high school, get a job, and dont have kids out of wedlock. poor people stay poor and rich people tend to stay rich because of individual choices. its why guys who win the lotto end up broke so quick typically
That just means that for each opportunity it's equal for the people that can take it. That's nkt the same as equality of opportunity where everyone has access to the same opportunities.
Regardless of whether you favour left wing 'socialist' capitalism or right wing free market capitalism, the fact is capitalism is the one of the best things that has ever happened to humanity. There are genuine pros and cons to either side.
i mean equality of opportunity in that there are no government obstacles stopping you. I obviously dont mean we are all equally sittuated. Im not a math wiz, so I wont be an accountant. Theres no way to fix things like that. You cant magically make some midget taller so he has an equal shot at being an NBA player
>it doesnt work
Define not working. It runs this country more efficiently than our lackluster government and provides greater living conditions than the lower class has had for millenia before hand. Adding religion to this discussion is stupid, Im only talking about capitalism here. Why should I consider the dregs of society who dont strive for improvement to be a flaw of capitalism.
It's all arbitrary I suppose. It looks bad to me because of the high inequality, statistically decreasing social mobility, decreasing unions and middle class, automation taking away jobs currently and will only continue to take away a shit ton more, and low median wages across the nation. It evens out in certain places.. well possibly (when taking expenses into account as some places are cheaper) but definitely not in california and new york for instance. High cost of living yet low median wage as show by the stat above.
Personaly never believed life was meant to be fair so I am happy in that our society is designed that you can rise up above the average and the poverty if you make yourself valuable enough and if you value yourself enough. It may not always be easy and you may not feel like your job values you enough but with enough drive the system is designed to be taken advantage of. I feel its the greatest representation of our human nature as a species.
I agree that there are no ways around some things, but my point is that irrespective of everything else people with more money have more opportunities.
An extreme example of this is becoming the President, the vast majority of US citizens are eligible but only the most wealthy, or those who already have a strong presence in politics, have the opportunity due to the sheer cost of the campaign.
Wrote a paper in Uni about women joining the infantry. I had a part about how men and women are physically different, citing the olympics, a science journal, and a book but the famnazi teacher said it wasnt good enough, needed more sources. my point is that if you copy and paste some leftist shit, they wont care as much about the sources
Then work hard to get more money? then you can spread all those fantastic opportunities to your kids and yourself. Capitalism provides the incentive for you to work hard/better yourself so you can rise
Well... natural selection and survival of the fittest is emphasized. I just wonder if that is really how it "should" be.
That basically makes it so that people that aren't good enough are better off commiting suicide so that they don't dilute the gene pool. It creates a more superficial society where all that matters are your genetics rather than who you are as a person.
It reminds me of hitler. In a way.... germany has one of the best and brightest engineers around so a rough natural selection can indeed create a more efficient society but I also feel it creates much less empathy and makes people into machines instead of actually human.
you act as though genetics are everything and people cant change? if you are a fat guy you can work out and lose weight. it seems illogical to think those that are worthless to society cant fix themselves to actually be worth something. its called self improvement
Who you are as a person is where you show your value through ambition and persistence to rise up. Those who want to pursue the struggle less shouldnt kill themselves and you are twisting my words, they are granted a life more comforting than the peasants of millenia past, but the people who have drive will rise up and that drive is up to you. In fact most of what you said doesnt really tie into what Im saying. People dont deserve luxury just for being born but american capitalism gives everyone an opportunity yo pursue it even if its not going to be easy.
Some things can be changed but it is unrealistic to think everyone is capable of being an engineer, cs guy, etc.
Some genetics are simply better suited for analytical thinking than others.
It's the same reason an ant will never be as strong as a human. Genetics limits its capabilities.
I know but it's the principle.
Also with Denmark getting its shirts from countries that use sweatshops, it's not even particularly relevant to the way the government runs the country.
but that goes back to the same thing as genetics. we dont start at the same levels, and there is no good way of fixing that. the important thing is that anyone is allowed to succeed if they work hard and push themselves. sure, its easier for a rich person to succeed, but that doesnt mean the poor are always destined to fail
It's not about religion and capitalism going hand in hand.
It's about easily-lead weak-minded people who need a system in place that will control their thinking and behavior.
This is why the same people who but their lives in God's hands put their lives in rich and powerful people's hands.
Both are a SERIOUS threat if they continue to grow out of control. Like many, I'm just waiting on a leader who has a real plan on what to do about this that doesn't involve me spending the rest of my life in a supermax prison.
First thing first, you're assuming that capitalism runs off the fact that people do not care for each other and only profits. While you can say that for firms, you can't say that for individuals. Have you heard of something called a charity? Yeah, Catholics have a LOT of those. If you join a church and are need in basic human rights, you'll be supplied those basic human rights.
Ultimately, firms can be greedy, but not so much christian individuals (heard of southern hospitality?)
Also, Christians believe in hard work and toil. A capitalist environment encourages this work by not having the government take away your earnings.
And those are far from the only useful and well paying positions. Its your mindset that needs to change. As a salesman I an informed about peoples incomes naturally so the number of people who ive met that started in that fastfood job or reception job you hated but put in the extra hours and went above and beyind to where they now make 4 to 5k a month and arent at the end of their careers would surprise you. Its just that the people who will never put in that effort into any job are the ones that complain the most and thus you dont hear about the people with their heads in the game.
I'm an electrician so I'll be fine at 60k (there is potential for more depending on what I want to focus on. I.e. this one union pays 42.×× an hr so 90k with no overtime but it's construction and let's just say it isn't a feel good place to say the least).
Anyways, my point is that genetics can limit people. Only a certain percent of people can succeed whether because a limited amount of good jobs (i.e. 100% of jobs won't pay 25an hr or more) or simply because they are genuinely not smart enough (disability, simply can't grasp engineering concepts ever, etc.).
You can try at the end of the day. I did and it worked out but I'm simply saying I don't lile a culture that emphasizes
I do think people should try their best regardless but let me put it this way, if everyone has the same degree, no one does.
Basically, everyone can try hard but there are a limited amount of opportunities.
It can be argued that the u.s. does things better than other countries. I do agree with that much. It's better than 3rd world countries but their are still many problems such as the close to 20% poverty level. Effort alone won't change a persons economic status.
I choose denmark as an example simply because they average little poverty, low inequality, and happier people according to stats.
I don't see why there can't be a slow transition to a system that benefits the masses more as that is the whole point to a society in my eyes.
*A culture that emphasizes your skill and equates it with your worth as a human.
I.e. low skill = you are expendable = you have bad genetics = you should die
I don't mean to twist your words when I mention this, simply saying this is the vibe this society gives me
I dont believe in equality, not every man was born equal but at least capitalism gives everyone some amount of chance. The notion of equality is a joke but its nice that we entertain that joke a little so that the lesser of society are still provided some pleasures of life, however those pleasures should really drive you to want to be successful to indulge as much as you want.
Unless you are literally mentally disabled there are career paths out there that lead to 50 to 60k for anyone and possibly more. I just sold a car to a family where the wife was the working member and she gets 4500 a month at fucking whataburger. There are limited opportunities but there are also limited people willing to grasp those opportunities.
Im getting into the shower and just wanted to get this post out in a hurry in case the thread is gone by the time im out.
Render unto Caesar bitch, a camel can pass through the eye of a needle easier than a rich man can get into heaven, there's a dozen other things in the bible pointing this shit out, you can't be a Christian and support the American capitalist system, period, read the fucking bible if you are actually a Christian
the whole religion system of this world is bullshit, every preacher or sandnigger from mosque have a shitload of money, big houses, expensive luxury cars etc etc etc
the true faith is about the asceticism
You can be a capitalist and a Christian 100%. Charities exists that you can give your money to. You can be a capitalist and not a Christian though, and choose to donate nothing.
I just don't want to donate my money to the government because I have no faith in it.
Charities are such a moral copout, just the fact that millions die every year from hunger and lack of cle as n water and healthcare prove it doesn't work. But you just keep clutching your wallet, I'm sure your god will shrug his shoulders and hold you blameless when you and others like you with these hypocritial beliefs have to face him in death. Better hope there's no god buddy
Wow you're fucking retarded or complete bait. First of all, you're working off the assumption that capitalists are immoral scumbags. Millions die each year from hunger if there was a completely socialist or communist government too, fixing the hunger/water/healthcare situation is not a simple fucking job. (Assuming you're talking about the world here, very few Americans die of hunger and thirst specifically. Healthcare is more complicated)
You're just a cynicist who believe humans are evil in nature if they don't swear to live by religion. Absolutely broken logic.
I donate about 50% of my salary to NGOs, and I'm also part of one.
the nation is the people. the state is the government. those two aren't the same thing.
when the law becomes christian again, and usury-chasing foreigners are hanging from every lamp post, you bet your ass there will be no question as to which side true Americans are on
>thought our founding fathers put the whole "freedom of religion" part in there for a reason?
yes, so the state doesn't get involved in churches. not the other way around. there are still anti-blasphemy laws on the books in like 5 states ffs.
the Country was one ethnic group, all running a a number of separate location-dependent governments (states) working together for a few things (domestic tranquility, the common defense, the general welfare, and the blessings of liberty) but generally leaving each other alone. it was made for the Christian sons of the English colonists (Ourselves and our posterity), and nobody else. so when I give charity, I never give it to people outside of my state, or to people who don't look like me.
why the fuck should I give my children's cash to people who aren't my kin? jesus talks about giving charity to "his brothers", i.e. his ethnic nation. early christian doctrine says that any man who does not provide for his children has denied the faith.
another point, success is not a measure of greed. the love of money more than is just is greed. Usury is DEFINITELY a measure of greed- that's why when I lend cash, I lend it at a flat rate. but capitalism- getting the best you can get with what you have, to increase what you've got- is not a sin. the sin is in not providing for the least of these with what you've got.
>a camel can pass through the eye of a needle easier than a rich man can get into heaven
That's the church trying to keep the poor from becoming wealthy. Statistics show that the wealthy individualsa la are the ones that contribute the most to charities and help others
