All depends on your situation and where you live. I'm 28 and my relationship just broke down and I'm having to move back in with my rents.

fuck off NEET samecuck you're not fooling anyone

I moved away at 18 when I left my bumhole town to go to Uni miles away, but if my parents lived close to my Uni I wouldn't mind living with them until my school takes little enough time for me to work. I can't imagine studying and working at the same time, it just sounds like fucking nightmare. At the same time, it's all the matter of what is your personal situation like.

Depends on your culture and circumstances. In many countries, families tend to occupy a complex of buildings together, with expansions as necessary to provide space for growth. Additionally, in the West, if your parents require a caretaker and you are fulfilling that role, you get a pass.

The defining issue, I think, isn't so much living with your parents as not having an independent source of income. If you're gainfully employed, you have a choice. If you're not, then living with your parents shows that you're basically at your wit's end.

I left at 19, went back at 22, left at 23. The time back allowed me to save up for a down payment on a house but it sucked and I wanted to be gone.

i got kicked out at 16. came back for one year after that to do some work, paid rent. came back one other year to do some other work. paid rent

got 16 years under mums roof,
got maybe 9 years under both parents roof before divorce
so total maybe 13-14 years of a double income household.

>>767721373
got a decade of centrelink and few dozen k student debt (no interest in au, pay back after earning over a certain threshhold)

so add that maybe

18 years so far of a double parents income

how old is too old? depends on the person, not to advocate for communism from each according etc... but definitely not advocating for equality. am advocating for justice

after 30 i suppose? During your 20s you're supposed to be studying or finding a job so living with your parents can help a lot

This seems fair.

If you get out of a relationship got a job but is still searching for a apartment or something to rent. Then moving back home is ok.

I moved out when i was 16 moved back home after studies was done. Lived at parents for 3 months untill i got a apartment.

I moved out at 19 for uni. Came back for a “year” at 21 which ended up being until I was 23. Moved around the country for jobs for 5 years and now my partner and I are moving in with her mother at 28 years old. The aim is to save for a couple of years and then buy a nice place in the local area instead of blowing £1800 a month on London rent...

As long as you have justified reasons for living there and you’re not just being a bum and sponging off your parents, then I think it’s fine.

Most loving parents are happy to have you around anyway.

I’m 55 and live with my parents, but then I’ve come back to spend time with them before than die, rather than cry at their grave.

I’ve been out of the country for 22years
>>
>>767720990
25 unless it's strictly short term for a specific purpose (i.e. a gap between selling and buying houses and you need somewhere to stay for a couple weeks)
>>
>>767720990
No such thing. There are a multitude of factors that affect whether you should move out, but age is not one of them.
>>
>>767720990
13, if your over 13 and still living with your parents then you are an utter failure at life and should kill yourself for being a worthless fucking loser
>>
>>767722767
Acceptable.
>>
>>767721513
Awesome.
>>

Since the time I was 13 my mom constantly called me an ungrateful, lazy loser because I didn't have a job, the absolute minimum age to work in my state is 14 with a worker's permit which is hard to get until 15.

This continued all through high school, where I was also a worthless loser because I didn't have a job when I was taking all ap classes and working on eagle for boy scouts.

The good part is, my grandparents knew how much of a bitch she was, gave her nothing when they died and I have a house and don't have to work if I don't want to thanks to them.

In many other countries, you live with parents until you're married. Even then some cultures remain to be one family unit with parents.

But that's not the US.

The US you live with your parents until you're in your mid to late twenties, many leave around 18 to go to college or whatnot... But aren't officially moved out until the individual finds a more permanent housing situation. This typically involves a few years of mistakes until they get it right.

I personally would move back in if I could despite what any asshole thinks of me , save money, pay debts..buy property.. Then enjoy my parents companionship
