I need better... plz help. God tier metal...\war thread. P.S. if your war webm has an EDM sound track, kill self n post that!
Look for Tech Death, there's great stuff for all tastes
tech death is life, tech death is love
already on it man. I'm a huge music buff, I've explored most of whats out there. Bare with me, but I'm tryin to find something that's unique and stands on its own. I love music in general, but metal is my shit, if you can tell me about a band I don't know of I'll b surprised, but better yet I'll b thankful... rare shit, local shit, whatever shit... if I haven't heard it, post it. If its melodic, has a good flow to it, I'm very interested. The darker, the heavier, the better.
Did you check out/know Dark Matter Secret & First Fragment from my previous post? I think they're lesser known bands. Kronos too, they had good stuff back then.
A Loathing Requiem is a great not well known one-man band
There's also Archspire, Inferi, Alterbeast and Rivers of Nihil with a brand new CD.
If you want something funny, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hb2cHLejtA
The vocals are hilarious, it's a joke band from the members of Vulvodynia
Almost forgot Henker with their quadruple bass drums
and Sophicide which is also a one-man band, the dude had 19 years old when he made that
And OP if you want just brand new stuff, check out this channel:
There's a lot of Slam, but also some pretty nice Brutal Death albums. They upload a fucking shitload of stuff
From the same label, there's Augury that is a local band here:
Enfold Darkness which is okayish:
Virulent Depravity which is fine:
Not on the same label, I also remembered there's The Ritual Aura that is really not well known but still fine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxNkGupr4fg - Artificial Brain - Infrared Horizon is one of my favourite tech death albums of all time and its from 2017
https://youtu.be/_CirtfkUxi4 - this less tech death, more Czech Death (haha) but has a lot of tech elements
I was going to recommend first fragment and archspire and dark matter secret AND enfold darkness as well....
How about some blotted science?
I dig how they can get kinda groovy at times while keeping up the pace
Not OP but nice, didn't know them.
If you're the kind of guy thinking "why isn't there a fuckton more sweeping", Cytotoxin is the band for you.
Old album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSFzMLA00xk
New one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAPvO8GLu08
Shadow Of Intent - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgaUi3f2vrs
Literally everything by them is a fucking slammer
Their previous albums were a bit different, they had an opera signer with them on certain tracks.
Oh and Quo Vadis is also a local band, but I think they're a bit more known so you may have heard of them. Less heavy too.
Check out Peshmerga has members of Gorgasm a one off album. Which is a shame. Groovy though.
Membro Genitalo Befurcator
https://youtu.be/evml-Zmn2F4 more brutal death oriented but war themed
Putrified (the) Cadaver
Super heavy BDM war themed
I know a lot more but im lazy
After that The Violation was not so bad, other songs meh. And I just don't like the newer albums.
Their first album Oracles was excellent, but the mix could have been heavier.
Just 2 of my favorites that I can think of off the top. I love music in general, I have tons more these are just two that came to mind right now.
lel I knew that would be some brutal death or some slam, dunno why.
Here's a couple bands you probably know that are in the same genre, in case you're interested
Some Fleshgod is always good. Pathfinder was also a good song on that album.
Never really listed to Thy Art is Murder, but it seems to be a bit like Aversion Crown (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb5z5AULWCw), I could start listening to that
Pretty smooth, getting a Rammstein feel. Don't know why, but reminds me of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsMKOx6fumc
That is weird haha Some kind of ambient metal?
I'd love to be talented enough to play an instrument. I just do death metal vox for fun, not in a band.
I'd be happy with even just being able to play piano, but I suck at life.
Just not as main stream.
>brutal death metal
The underground of the 2 undergrounds. It sucks cus its my favorite. Im not sure if i would like more people getting into it or not. I dont think it can ever be as big as death metal but i can see it growing and as a guy in a bdm band thats cool.
Yea theres not much i havent heard of. *tips hipster hat* lol. But im not a big fan of "slam" it gets really boring i like slam before it was its own genre like Internal bleeding /devourment.
First person to get me to laugh & groove at the same time... props.
It's getting pretty trendy to be completely honest, at least around where I live in the Death Metal scene. I'm more of a melodic death metal guy since I like to play that shit on guitar but I listen to all kinds of music across lots of genres. I love Brutal Death Metal bands live though shit is great
This is my pornogrind/bdm band im going more towards bdm now adays like Putridity. My new stuff is a little bit better this is just to play around. Its a 1 man band cus its so hard to get a bdm band together
Yea slam is taking off. Which i can see cus its pretty simple. Like my friends band Agonal breathing sucks and their riffs are simple but they blew up. Lol prpud of him though
holy shit small fuckin world bro. just saw them in SC too. that shit slayed. I am sooooo drunk right now
Band ain't very good, but there's a cat in a pizza.
This one either.. but there's a ninja cat with a golden deagle on a firebreathing unicorn
Yea bdm is where my heart is but i can go from Disgorge to Beethoven to Anime OPs to Country.
As a musician i think your mind should be open i get ideas from classic rock to write bdm even country.
If any of you knew Lord Marco a long time ago when he was already a beast, here's what he's up to now:
https://youtu.be/fVclJVgu4DQ?t=81 (Starts at like 1:20)
Rediscovered him not so long ago.
I sorta get a Revocation vibe from that song, not as if they ripped them.off or anything like that but it just reminds me of them for some reason aside from the "piano" in the back
