I left consulting and took a $100K paycut to do 'regular' IT. Corporate IT moves way too slowly - that was the good thing about consulting - you always had your feet to the fire so the intensity was there. Corp IT is the bastion for losers, as my co-workers have told me in the past.

Life's fucking weird. 15 years ago I was 32 and was on top of the world. Married to a beautiful woman, sensational sex life, making money without any effort, fucking massive house on the hill in a beach suburb, holidays around the world, just got my bitch pregnant.
But it all started unravelling.
Now I'm single. She went batshit insane and started fucking one of her employees. She took me to court and I lost hundreds of thousands in $$$s.
