Because it's OD's are a different kind of rekt. Something that is typically long term and completely preventable and avoidable. Seeing someone finally succumb to their stupid mistakes is insanely satisfying. Nobody is ever forcing someone to continue to drink/shoot up/snort/etc whatever their substance may be. And their choice and justification to do so is irrelevant. There are better alternatives out there to cope with your problems.
This is coming from someone who's lost 4 family members to smoking, drugs, and alcoholism. Fuck them all. They all deserve what they had coming for them. Self-centered assholes who ruin families with their addictions.
