>>767650690 Nah ive had like .005 since one coin was worth like 500$ i just never even remembered i had it until last weekend and found out it was worth like almost 40$ now, so i spent a bit on food and have .003 left
>>767650131 -5000 on a old student card with 0% +8700 on savings (soon to buy car for 10k) -30k in studydebt but it may be paid back in 30 years with a minimum of 150 every month -3k on a visa which has a % payback required every month
after i bought the card im gonna get the debt to 0 as soon as possible, after that the studyloan while saving for the personal input of 10k for a morgage in a few years.
Currently have 15k of 50k needed for the 15% payment required to get a house loan in my country. I make about $3000 a month and save $1600 of that, unless other bills get too high that month for some reason. I'll be all good once I can actually get that fucking house loan and start paying it down rather than rent, which is HIGHER than the loan payments would be.
I get paid $2462 monthly from GI bill. I am a full time student and able to put away $500 into savings with each payment that comes in. I have $6k in crypto and it's growing. Suddenly my life doesn't seem so bad, these threads are nice reality checks.
>>767652477 Strange, maybe depends on your area but in the rocky mountain area there is no problem with companies hiring up the ass even if you dont have your CDL. Probably no job security but interesting to say the least
>>767650131 2000$ in debt to friends and family $500 in debt to the bank, not so bad. but I'm a lifetime beneficiary and too mentally deficient to work full time, in fact part time put's me under such strain that my depression and anxiety kick me into a full on suicidal rampage, so I'm basically fucked. Also I spend all my cash on alcohol ans cigarettes to try to deal with how I feel, so this shit ain't gunna change. Best I've done is 5 weeks sober, I'm done with drugs but it hasn't helped. Isn't life just beautiful?
>>767650131 Grew up that poor. Slowly learning to be rich. ___________________
All of my friends and family are sheep and wont listen to me no matter how hard i try. The wife backs me and said she will handle a lot of the paperwork. But i don't think she buys it. It's so fucking easy to get rich. Yet rather than actively go against the grain and learn how to actually get rich they just talk about being rich one day.
They are all LITTERALLY insane. Every single day they get up, head to work, and think they will be rich one day.
Meanwhile i am study rich people and how they do it. Get realtor license just for acess to MLS, try to figure out how the fuck to read financial statements, know enough about tax law to talk with my attorney, learn assett protection. Make 3 mortgage payments simultainiously and soon several dozen.
I am actively (albiet at a snails pace) becomming rich! And just like clockwork they will do the same shit and then be dumbfounded shocked when i retire at 39 making more than them with a substantial pay raise every year for the rest of my life.
Not long after retirement when i build pic related half the town will think i got a windfall, i am a rich prick, or i saved for 30 years to build it. The other half will be looking for a job, handout, or a loan.
It's a horse dick sized red pill. I cant even wish it away because i have a few rich friends and i see it happen daily.
>>767652464 Because I didn't have $30,000 to buy a new car , I personally find it easier to pay bills than save, the loan I got for the car (Mazda3 SP25 GT) is a fixed loan, so I will end up paying $35,000.
I live in Australia before you start on the price of the car, since in the US I believe it is a $26,000 car brand new. I also just got a loan for $108,000 to buy my house.
>>767652633 I mean don’t get me wrong, there’s a few out here I could get into pretty easily. 8 years class A experience with a clean record. But I’d rather be home more. I’m pullin’ in 3200 a month for a pretty easy 40/week.
Although I just got word of a company that only has like 3 routes they take. None more than like 600 miles out, and it pays like 2k/week. Might take it I’m just not sure yet.
>>767652887 That’s the other reason I didn’t even want to touch otr, I’ve heard so many horror stories. I’d rather work for a privately owned company like the one I’m with now or the one I mentioned >>767652973
Good luck. Maybe try and find a purpose? Mine is to stop all of my friends from killing themselves. Its a hard job when all you want to do is lay in bed and cry all day, then turn around and act all peppy and force your depressed friends to all go out and do shit.
Its sad and tbh exhausting. But, being suicidal and depressed i figured if i do snap one day maybe the good lord will take pity since i helped others while suffering the same disease
I have a mortgage with remaining balance of about 175k. I own 6 rental properties and a small trucking company. I'm in debt on both companies by a total of about 15k. As soon as I get that debt paid off I'll be making around 125k per year debt and tax free thanks to loopholes in the American tax system.
>>767653670 >implying I'm salty >implying the welfare class is a concern in my country >implying you're prepared Lemme guess, you're wearing all camo and practice handtohand with your bf every weekend in your parents back yard.
>>767653553 I've got quite a bit of passive income going, but honestly I don't think you should necessarily go for that yet. If you really want to start on it, though, go for a rental property. You may be able to leverage a cheap one with what you've got.
3 cars paid off total value about 15k house 60k owed worth 170. Total 30k in loans paying off when we sell the house. Few k in the bank. I don't ever look at the account my wife handles it. Buy a gram of coke and a 1/4 of smoke a week. 2 kids. Disney passes. WoRk 3 days a week.
>>767652962 Free greyhound ticket to truck driving school. Get cdl for $3,000 but only half that if you stay over a year. Supposed to go with a trainer for a month at a cheap shit salary. In reality you team drive 24/7 for the trainer and company to make bank for 2 months. Get put in my own truck. Governed at 60mph but if you run against the governor to much they hold money out of your check. No apu (little generator) to run so a little control box turns the truck off and on to keep temperature. Truck violently shakes and fires up 40 times a night so no sleep. Idle to much and they hold money out of your check. They give you a shitty route and tell you where to fuel and how many gallons to get. After 10 miles off route its a buck a mile. Sometimes drive a long ways if you miss a turn because you might take an exit and not find a place to flip a bitch. Tell you to do one thing on the computer and then call on phone and make you run illegal. Treat you well despite all of this for about 2 months. Then try and hook you into a 3 year lease for a $950 a week payment on a truck. Lol, no thanks. Say no, get put Northeast. Trucker hell. Traffic and shit means dick for miles. In winter you idle the truck and the commies give you a ticket for idle over 5 minutes. If you shut it off you have to call a mechanic to get it started. So you lose money and have to set in the truck stop all night and then drive. Be 10 miles from the shipper/reciever and have to shut truck off, wait 5 minutes, drive .4 miles, do it again and again all night with 9 sleep so you can make it on time.
Basically Central Refrigerated and others have 2,000 trucks. They run 100+ people a week for a $1,500-$3,000 cdl. They get a dirt cheap driver for a bit. Then they sell you on a $150,000 lease. If not, then they run you off to make room for the next sucker and get 3k out of u.
Its all a fucking scam. 98% turnover rate and they have the gull to say its because people cant hang.
>how poor are you. I'm not so bad. >400 a month. >Debt like 80 a month. >Phone Bill 30 a month. Just need to learn to budget on train tickets. They are clamping down so that is like another £15. So it's not that bad.
>>767653489 You could always find a company that trains/hires you. I’d do that, get your experience and switch over to an entertainment transport company. You’ll be on the road a fuck ton, but those dudes make bank. The name of one major one escapes me but the owner keeps the fleet super new. Like 2 years in service and then they’re sold.
>>767654178 >I am a wageslave and working my way towards becoming rich. >And I truly pity you Isn't that a contradiction tho. Because no wage slave can ever become rich. Where do you work? And have you been scouted for something more than a wage slave?
Had Like 1.5k until i wasted it all on drugs. Now I'm at -300$ maybe. Also got some stuff stolen in the process. They helped me with my anxiety tho. I stopped now and I'm happier overall. I'm a student btw.
>>767652823 Not him... but it's funny how most poorfags don't realize the amount of wealth out there. I've come clean about my wealth here and no one buys it because you think "millionaire" means you're driving around in a fucking Lambo. That's really not the case... especially these days. A million dollars does not launch you into movie star status.
>>767654221 Seriously considering it. It’s just a/v equipment too so I’d be easy as shit. Just waiting on details about how many trips I’m gonna be taking a week. I heard it was plenty of home time but I haven’t confirmed. Plus it’s privately owner so no mega carrier bullshit
>>767654748 >My advice to you poor fags is learn a trade and work for a decade to build customer base and then strike out on your own. But it is more unstable being self employed. There is too much risk. What do you do for a living?
>>767654502 Could I have five grand? I've got 48k in credit dart I'm trying to claw my way out of after escaping a years long destructive depression spiral. I could pay off one card and start a debt snowball with 5k.
>>767654889 No. I made far far far less working the same job for someone else. My wages literally trippled overnight, plus you get to expense tons of shit on taxes. I work as much as I want because there are not enough people in this field and far fewer comptent ones. Companies are offering $300 gift card just to interview with them. I do commercial Refrigeration.
>>767650131 I dunno, my bf does all the finances. Apparently we’re in the top 20% of households financially but we live pretty modestly. I don’t know if that’s because we have higher expenses than I assume or if we are pouring a lot into savings. Both probably.
>>767654889 Risk is correlated to reward. The worst that happens is you go back to being a wage slave for another company doing the exact same shit. Fortune favors the bold. Luck is opportunity meeting preparation.
>>767655149 OTR trucking is going the way of the buggy whip soon. Anyone in a repetitive job no matter how skilled it may seem has a giant crosshair on it for automation. Truckers, radiologist, pharmacist, paralegaks, shelf stockers, etc. That shit is a wrap
>>767655290 Don't think I mean everyone can do it. If you are poor as fuck and grow up in a ghetto it gonna be pretty damn hard to get the preparation ready. Keep on hustling. You will be the best boss you ever work for
>>767655526 A radiologist with $150k in debt to pay off seemes like a pretty good career track 10 years ago. You need to get in a job that has to much variation to be programmed in. Like maybe robot mechanic.
>>767651045 Better than what happened to me. >Buy 2.98 ($150) bitcoin to get fake Id from China. >first over 1k spike >bitcoin is locked in overseas account >finally get shit out >sell for 900 (value at the time) to a friend of mine
The big rush came about 2 years later. If I had only held on I could have sold at 19k and had a years pay. Sucks to suck.
>>767656271 Nah, no way. They still can’t really get the self driving car quite on track. Let alone an 80,000 pound truck. Then you’ve got to think about routes that require city driving and all that. It’s gonna be a long time I’d say. But who knows
>>767656537 It all depends. A lot of people just end up spending more money when they make more. And they end up just being broke at a higher level. You’ve got more cool shit and get to do more cool things but at the end of the day you’re broke. Your average person doesn’t live debt free like they should.
>>767655817 Real estate, mostly. A few rental properties, but most of my PI comes from notes. I am getting into index funds, though, since as I said, passive income should be done sparingly unless real-deal retirement is imminent.
>>767656617 Correct. My bigest recommendation is to get a cash back or a travel miles credit card if you can get one. Put everything you buy on it, and pay it off monthly so you don't take any interest charges but reap cashback/miles. I get 50-100$ a month back with my Chase.
>>767656524 Long haul will be first. I agree the last couple miles will require a human for the foreseeable future. There will be an increase in the number of mobile mechanics and humans looking after robo loads. But even regional driving and between large cities in a state is gonna be gone inside 15 years.
