Tried to talk to an Atheist about his belief in the "The Big Bang", and all I got was insults and personal attacks.
Why are Atheists so angry all the time?
You cant even have a conversation with them.
niger
That's funny. I talked to a Christian today who asked me "if man comes from monkey, why do we still have monkeys?" and I replied with "if man came from the dirt, why do we still have dirt?" .. and oddly the scenario you describe ("insults and personal attacks") happened to me. Shocking, isn't it?
It's cause they're frustrated that you won't accept what they've accepted because they won't be able to explain the details--often, they won't know them. During my experiences through getting a phd in theoretical physics, I noticed that probably less than 5% of phd physicists even know the basics of the big bang and its motivations (outside of reciting the storyboard), so I'd guess very few know the details/motivations in general.
You're dealing with self-proclaimed intellectuals, who rarely know anything. They just want people to think they do.

So arguing with an atheist is very similar to arguing with a Christian, just a little worse imo because they're convinced they know a lot.
>>767575881
Same thing applies to religious nutjobs. Can't hold a conversation about logical thinking whatsoever. It's "Jesus has the answers" crap, instead of thinking for themselves. FYI, not an atheist, just someone with some common sense.
Everyone gets insulted by everyone because everyone's a faggot including you and me
because people dont like people who disagree with their opinion. im an atheist but im not gonna start personally attacking people for having different beliefs.
its called an opinion for a reason

i think its time

>atheists are convinced they know a lot

Nobody cares about atheism anymore, it's not 2008.
>>767576202
I believe in the big bang because I more or less trust the system that brought me the information. I was raised Mormon. I have no reason to trust that system.
>>767577820
>>767576327
This.
Also worth mentioning that you can’t call them out, even if they actually do/say something stupid.
If you do that, you may be met with response videos full of insults and personal attacks.

Why don't you worship a bundle of sticks and mud like some nigger in Africa would do?
>>767578154
>>767576847
yeah but most of them haven't read said book so they don't pretend to have those answers. the non-experts know they're non experts, which is nice.
>>767576202
what the fuck are the motivations for the big bang
>>767575881
> Talks to one individual atheist
> Assumes that all atheists are the same
That kind of faulty logic is why you believe in god.
>>767578040
Watch literally any response video made by atheists on YouTube. You’ll find insults, personal attacks, and maybe a bit of doxing.
They also talk in an angry, condescending tone in order to manipulate their 14 year old audience into believing they’re right. For instance, they usually respond to a lot of stuff with “What are you talking about?!”
as a christian i say stop posting this garbage

Fucking hell.
Dat lack of self-awareness
Scary
>>767576202
the fact that you use the word motivations when talking about the big bang tell me you dont have a clue what you are talking about.
>>767578671
>getting a phd in theoretical physics

>big bang
This convo gets more retarded every time it's posted.
Fuck it, Spoodermon to the rescue
Im not angry at christans, just god.
>>767575881
I just noticed how nearly all the atheists responding to your thread are being really angry and/or condescending. Good job proving OP right.
>>767575881
>>767578293
alright poe's law, cant tell if srs or not. either you're very funny, almost a perfect sentence with layers of irony, or you are extremely dumb. either way I had a laugh! Thanks
>>767578968
weird how that always happens in his threads isn't it
>>767575881
How did you approach the subject? Honestly if you belittle someone or act condescending without any reasonable explanation to the contrary, you deserve what you get.
>>767579069
>can't tell if srs or not
This entire thread is one huge piece of bait. It happens at least twice a day. Hell, I'm a confirmed atheist, and I started one yesterday for the lulz.
Protip - if you see that pic in OP, run. Or be prepared to waste an hour of your life arguing with someone who very likely agrees with you anyway and is just trolling you. Read any one of these threads and you can argue both sides effectively.
Move along, nothing to see here.

Even Hoyle's Steady-State theory, with it's problems, kicks the shit out of the faggot-ass "Big Bang" theory, which is nothing but stealth creationism, proposed by a literal Roman Catholic priest, Georges Lemaître.
Crap like "dark matter" and "dark energy" are lame fairytales some scientists invented, when they realized that their equations didn't equal out. The Universe has always existed in one form or another. Full stop. Suck my dick.
>>767579485
Oh I would never argue with anyone here, I'm an adult. I merely made that one comment, because his comment was genuinely very very funny when you rly think about it. pretty much only tim heidecker can make me laugh in maybe 5% of the stuff he makes at this point. So it was nice to read that comment and laugh.
I mean we live in the age of the internet, anyone can find the copious amounts of evidence for the big bang. If you listen to the dark parts of the sky you hear a sound. That sound turns out to be microwave radiation. The only possible source for that radiation is the release of photons from some event in the past that happened everywhere at once. That event was the creation of the first hydrogen atoms, after the universe finally got big and cool enough for that to happen. You can map the cosmic microwave background and find that the observable universe has the same distribution of galaxies that it implies. There's a lot of other evidence, but this is probably the most indisputable stuff.
>>767579712
How do you explain the CMB? Show your work please.
>>767575881
Y'all need more Christopher Hitchens in your lives.
>>767579944
>started 370,000 years ago
>proves that such-and-such happened over 15 billion years ago
CMB doesn't prove dark matter, dark energy, or the Big Bang. Burden of proof is on the claimant. Ball's in your court, dumbfuck.
