Why do russians like Putin?
if you dont you find polonium in your tea, slip on a soap in shower, get shot while security cameras are offline, fall from balcony, get hit by a car, get nervegassed etc.
Not all of us do. But ones that do and not on a payroll just remember how it was in the 90s, and consider that 00s improvement is somehow his achivement.
Which it probably is, in a way. But that doesn't make him less shit.
>implying that he's unlikable
Bruh the man brought russia to its former glory after the cold war
Say what you want about him but he literally saved his country from becoming a third world shithole
Exactly. I was in Russia in the '90s, and in the '00s. Amazing change. Pretty much as long as he guarantees the '90s aren't coming back, people are willing to accept other stuff. Also, Russians tend to think that the leader is actually a good guy, it's all the people in government under/around him that are bad. "If only he knew", they think, "he'd come fix it."
